Brookdale

We toured with Brookdale Fort Myers Cypress Lake and it was a very charming place. The staff as well as the residents were all super friendly to us. My mother is a vegetarian and they could not accommodate vegetarian meals - so that was the reason she did not pick this facility.

I think a full-time RN would raise those 3-4's, the staff and residents treated Mom & Dad like family. Most expressed regrets when they passed. (It depends on the person- Mom and Dad were teachers so they were friendly and caring) I felt RN supervision at Brookdale would eliminate going to the ER as often, due to health safety codes facilities must adhere to. As a family we were please with Brookdale's service. Costs? They all cost " an arm and a leg". They didn't appear any higher than other facilities in the Dover area. They were caring- that's what counts.

The director is very engaged and all of the staff do a great job connecting with families and making sure the residents feel welcome. The food is ok, it would be great to see more a la carte options between meal times. My father sometimes sleeps through breakfast and it would be great to see a few more options available to him during those in between meal times. Housekeeping is good overall. They take pride in the facility and keep it clean and looking nice. The activities are great, but they only do one outing per week and can only take so many residents on each outing. I think more options and/or availability would be nice. They seem to cater to residents interests for the activities and outings though, which is great. There here has been some recent turnover lately, but most of the staff has been there for a long time, which I really like. I would recommend this facility!

We chose Brookdale Orland Park because of the value for the money - they had the same amenities offered but the price was quite a bit lower than other places we looked. The only complaint I have is the food. They have the same things all the time so they could use some more variety on their menu. Overall we would recommend them to others.

This has been a positive experience for us overall. This is a much better community physically than other communities in the area. The staff communication with the family has been positive for us as well. There are three meals a day served, and at least 2 meals my loved one has choices to choose from.

Brookdale Niagara is a nice place to go. My loved one wasn't happy in beginning, but she is now, so I'd say its a good place to go.

I found the people who work there are exceptionally friendly and make every effort to assist you and your loved ones. Management is also exceptional in resolving concerns.

I toured Brookdale West Melbourne AL and I would have preferred this Brookdale over the other location we visited. We really had to decide between this community and the one we chose. I really liked Brookdale and the staff were phenomenal, through the roof. I really connected with the sales woman and her boss, who was even more spectacular. I took my mom for day visit and they all reported back how much they loved her and looked forward to having her live there, they were absolutely wonderful. I liked the facility as well, it was very clean. The only thing I didn't like and what turned out to be the deciding factor, was their rooms. They were small and dark with not much lighting. I think there was maybe one window. It was much older facility compared to the place we chose, and I preference a newer more modern place. It had a beautiful feel on the outside, but going inside the rooms felt dark and lonely almost.

Was a lovely tour with many activities going when we visited. Residents seemed happy and out and about. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I really enjoy myself here. I've made a lot of friends. Everyone is so Friendly. The nurses are so wonderful. Alison {name removed" made my first night so comfortable even though I was so nervous. The food is very good and they sure are generous with dessert.

Very Nice place, very friendly people. Apparently no religious services on site. Food is somewhat lacking in taste and nutrition.

Tour went off very well, very lovely facility and very well kept up.

I thought Brookdale did a credible job and had adequate facilities.

Brookdale Goodletsville is wonderful. The employees are excellent, every single one of them and take really good care of our family. Most of the staff have been there a long time, and they're all very professional and well trained, including the nurses. The entire staff is very kind and compassionate. The entertainment coordinators is always doing things for the residents and having activities. It's an excellent place.

The facility is well maintained. The staff is attentive to the residents needs. Overall it has been a very good experience and we have had no complaints.

The residents are very nice. Community is clean. Employees are very helpful.

We chose Brookdale West Hartford because I knew the sales rep. We needed to make a quick move and they were amenable to everything we requested and it is was in a good location as well. The staff are very accommodating. The sales staff, nurses, activity director, CNA's - everybody. My only complaint is the food. My loved one was a picky eater and she was very limited on her options and you did not know in advance. It was probably ok for others, just not for her situation. I would definitely recommend Brookdale to others.

Feel most of my needs are taken care of. Food is good.

Staff and administration are wonderful and very accommodating. Love the rides to medical Monday-Tuesday. Activities have really picked up & bus driver.

This is a very pleasant community to live in. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The grounds are very nice and the food is good.
