Brookdale

It was a nice community when we toured. There was a deposit fee for pets and there was another community that had a special for us.

We chose Brookdale Williamsville because they came recommended and when we went to visit it seemed like a nice place. When we walked in it was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The facility itself is well laid out. The staff seem to be really engaging with the residents. I would recommend them to other families.

Brookdale Skeet Club has everything we could of wanted for our loved one - the community is very very clean, the staff are very very welcoming and are more the willing to work with us everyway that they can. [name removed] who is in charge of the outboarding process and sighing of the papers, she is absolutely amazing and has her staff just top notch. Her right hand assistant is just as good. They have a lot of different activities going on. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to anybody.

The friendliness and welcoming atmosphere from both staff and residents is what sticks out the most about Brookdale Brighton. The residents all seemed so active as well. They seemed to be having fun and enjoyed visiting with each other. I can't tell you the difference it made at this facility. It appeared so welcoming that I would have stayed there. Privately, the residents all gave a great report of the facility. It really is an impressive place.

I think that because they're so short staffed like everyone else, things have fallen through the cracks here. Especially the care and cleanliness. Housekeeping just isn't thorough. The staff is friendly. Communication with the family is lacking. They have a good variety of activities. The food is good quality and variety. I would recommend them to friends and family. Out of all the places I looked at, this one was the best in the area.

Brookdale Champions has been a comfortable place in the first six weeks of my parents new life there. The staff is very welcoming and warm. They are very happy with the food.

Overall, it's a very nice facility. My loved one is being well taken care of in a safe environment. Recently they lost their chef, and the new chef's food is not to my loved one's liking, although other people do like it.

I moved my dad here from another facility. He needed a more active and lively environment. The activities director here is on top of things and keeps things energetic and residents interactive. It's a much better fit for dad! The staff is great. Communication with the family is good. We had a few issues in the beginning, but things are better now. The food is ok. Cleanliness is very good. This facility is a good fit for a resident who is active and wants to interact with others regularly.

Brookdale Clarksville is fine; they're taking good care of my husband. Like all places, nothing is perfect, but they're good and I couldn't ask for better care.

They were nice and answered our questions throughout the process. We chose them because they accept Medicaid if you're no longer able to continue with private pay later on. The apartment is very nice. It has enough space and is kept clean.

Just like everywhere else they were understaffed at times but we really did think the care givers did an awesome job, we felt they did the best that they could and they really cared for their residents. We were able to have some meals with our loved one and the meals were excellent. Our only complaint was with their billing - we felt they should of been more proactive and stayed on top of the billing more when our loved one started to decline.

I toured with Brookdale Farmington Hills and really liked the facility. The lady who showed us around was super nice and we thought that she did a great job.

Right now I'm only disappointed in their activities. They have a calendar of activities, but I never see them happening during the posted time - other than when they bring in outside musicians, but that only happens three times a month. The staff are pretty good, although it's unclear to me what each person's credentials are. But they all seem friendly and willing to help.

This facility is pretty good. It's always clean. I visit almost everyday. Housekeeping is really good, they do a great job. Communication is really bad. My loved one isn't mobile and I can't seem to get them to change his position. I know he needs it. Hospice has even requested it but they're just not doing it. He's flat on his back all the time. My loved one can only have pureed food, so that limits his options. They don't have milk, yogurt, ice cream, or dessert. Those are his favorites and are good options for a puree diet. But they don't have them, so I supply them myself. They also don't keep water there for him, they only bring water with his meals. He's not mobile, so he can't get it himself. But again, I'm there most days and I take care of it. I've requested several things and the nurses tell me they will look into it, but don't follow through (like changing his position, keeping water on his tray for him, etc.) Some of the nurses are very good. Overall, I think I would recommend them to my friends and family. I would mention the issues above so that they're aware, but we're pretty satisfied with them overall.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a really nice experience, and all the staff members we met with were super nice. However the price was a la cart so everything had a fee - there was the initial cost of things that was high and then things would have to be added on additional if need be and that is just not something we were wanting.

I just left a review that was not a good review for the memory care. Mother lived here for five years and my father for almost 2 before he had to be moved. I want to say that the independent living was good and that the people who worked there cared and worked hard to make it good. The classes before the pandemic were fabulous and the lectures interesting. They were wonderful people living there.

It's been a good experience for my loved one and family. They are doing a good job in cleaning my loved one's room. They are able to provide the medication management, bathing assistance, and laundry services for my loved one. The menus served to the residents is repetitive according to my loved one, and it would be nice to see more variety offered. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in. The activities directors have been wonderful in trying to engage the residents in the activities.

My experience with Brookdale Belle Meade was awesome. [name removed] is amazing. We picked this community because of the proximity.

Community is clean, housekeeping could be better in sisters apartment. .
