Brookdale

So far a nice place. Nice room sizes. Nice amenities and helpful people. . New appliances. Lots of greenery. Plank floors. Lots of closet space. Balcony. Walking trails. Outdoor pool. Etc

Our family had an in person tour experience and we loved Brookdale Tempe for memory care but mom just isn't ready for such services yet. The staff training and the technology there ( floor sensors) was very impressive. Probably the most expensive but worth the money for those that can afford it.

Brushy Creek was a very nice place to go to. Unfortunately my husband died within 2 1/2 months of his. Overall experience was very good cleanliness pretty good friendliness of staff summer very friendly, others.

What our family likes the most about the Brookdale Hawthorn Lakes is the community itself, as well as the friends our loved one has made and the overall flexibility of the staff. Based on this experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Crown Point and overall things were good for her here at this facility. I was there and visited my loved one everyday. Overall, they do a good job. However, I do think family involvement is important. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We toured Brookdale Wilmington during our search for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. The Memory Care unit at this facility was very sad and dreary. The furniture was old and the atmosphere was not very cheery. However, the staff that gave us our tour was lovely. We had a great tour, I just didn't like the environment.

I picked this community, because it was overall what I was looking for. They offer activites and they have friendly people.

I was given a lot of misinformation or lack of information from the start by the Sales people. The biggest issue was that we had a disagreement over the move in date due to this misinformation, and we were charged for 9 days that my parents weren't even able to move in due to their policy. When I tried to explain to the director the unfairness of this charge, she did not want to hear it. And when she called in the sales person who had given me the wrong information, that person suddenly developed amnesia and claimed that she did not remember telling me the date that we agreed on. There were multiple situations like this.

The staff is very friendly to my mom and to our family. They do take a serious interest in the care of the residents. However, it does appear that they are short staffed, since there is quite a delay in response times to emails/calls.

Based on our experience with Brookdale Grandon Farms, there could be more staff on the weekends, but the physical therapy and the doctor would get 5s

We picked this community because, it felt like an apartment and not a hospital. Also, it was close to us, and we liked the location. Great so far. Very friendly and long standing staff.

What I like about this place is it is small enough that my dad gets one on one help and he knows his nurses. He likes the food, and has made friends. The staff know him by his first name and have good attitude.

Biggest "issues" from my perspective: They don't have an efficient food tracking system, so Mom gets confused about how many of her limited dinners she's used. She tried asking and was told she'd have to wait until they had time to look it up. This sets her up for additional charges which don't even appear for 2-3 months, so I feel like this doesn't set her up for success. Otherwise, Mom mostly enjoys the meals. She has only been disappointed with quality a few times. Activities: Every time Mom expresses interest in the shuttle to stores, she's told the list is full and it's not available for two weeks. I'm getting her to stores, but this affects her independence. She also expressed interest in the walking club, but then is told that it keeps getting canceled. Mom is reluctant to join things, so it's only making her more reluctant when it doesn't pan out. All of that said, we're otherwise satisfied! Mom is making friends and enjoying her home. She likes most meals, and the staff always helps her when she asks for it!

Communication with the family about things which happen w/ the patient and are not the norm. Staff follow through on the established care plan can be hit or miss. The billing charges are simply wacky. Housekeeping could be improved all over the facility. The staff is FANTASTIC!

My loved one is a resident at Brookdale Painted Post. The staff are very caring and kind. My only concern is having enough staff. This is more of an issues in the evenings and on weekends. This is a very nice facility and it is well kept. The move in process was very smooth for us. You can get assistance with moving, if needed. As an Assisted Living facility, I would definitely recommend Brookdale Painted Post. They also have a great activities program. If a person needs help with dressing, bathing etc the staff shortage is a challenge. As a Memory Care facility, they are extremely limited.

What our family likes the most about Brookdale Meridian Englewood community, is that it is very friendly and it also feels very safe - there are lots of fun different activities planned and just an overall positive atmosphere.

What our family likes the most about the Brookdale Robinwood community is that the staff provide quick attention to our loved one when she needs it. However, an area they could improve on would be with the meals - specifically the quality and meal selection. With that improvement we would recommend this community to others.

I would recommend to others and everyone is very helpful and pleasant. It's a good place to live with fantastic scenery. I picked this community for the activities and it was out of city.
