I would say that they do what they have to do. But not much more.

Very Friendly and Helpful. Offers assistance and guidance when needed navigating the senior living life.

So many of the staff are caring and wonderful. There is a lot for the staff to do and staffing appears short at times. I am in healthcare and understand turnover, which is challenging to manage. I think there are challenges to get to the less than important things like laundry, changing linens, etc but the staff really appear to be engaged and sincerely care about all the residents. There is time the management over promises and under delivers, but overall I know my mom is safe, cared for, and I will always be informed of any issue or concern. Kudos to the care team at Brookdale Arvada! Thank you

Smaller facility (about 35 residents) is a big plus. The rooms are decent size, but do not have individual thermostats. The patios are pretty, though need more frequent cleaning due to high pollen counts here. Staff are friendly and helpful. The facility smells fine. The food is bland and repetitive, and what is served never matches the posted menu. Review the invoices diligently. The facility is very helpful in clearing up strange charges that appear.

The overall experience was very good especially for the price. I don't know if I'd change anything right now. The location is great and the facility has a very good reputation in the area.

It's beautiful, comfortable and clean. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy the residents. They take extra measures to ensure my mom is eating well. They are very patient with her.

Lawndale the staff are normally very nice and helpful and that is a huge plus!Overall it is a good experience.They have a podiatrist now almost monthly and a hairdresser is there on Fridays.The food is normally very good with good choices.They should offer snacks or cookies but they don't.But the place is normally very clean and decorated especially during the holidays and other special days and beautiful roses outside the main entrance and this is for Brookdale at Lawndale!

In general it’s been just fine but… I was asked to have tv and dresser in the room before admittance. (Spouse)When I visited her 7 days after admittance, both items were still in their boxes on the floor.Poor communication for sure, because no one ever told me that I had to set the items up, or offered any help. #2: No HDTV signal. lo def instead. For what folks are paying, and leaning on tv for entertainment, they should get the same clear picture as 98.5% of Americans are watching.

I was previously a resident at Brookdale Sunwest Independent Living. This facility was not really as portrayed. The food is never hot. The activities were not appealing to me, there is nothing with any intellectual appeal. The landscaping is nice. The people are mostly resigned to their fate. Also, it would be nice if there was some sort of medical help available.

The only problem is the regulation of the HVAC system!! Either too hot or too cold!! The staff is very good and caring! [Name removed], [name removed] & [name removed] are very good administrators! [Name removed] & [name removed] are the RNs on duty and are pretty responsive to requests & Med explanations

Before OPP I lived for two years at BROOKDALE wornall so that is all I can compare. I loved many things about BROOKDALE. The facility was up to date and beautiful, though there were stairs everywhere, just 2 or 3 but still a problem for us with wc,s and walkers. There were frequent problems with the main elevator. Sometimes it was out for a few days, sometimes for several weeks. The other two elevators were very far away and it was very difficult for those who used walkers especially to make the long trek to the dining. On one end you had to walk through an underground garage that was dark and cold or hot depending on the weather. The food was not good-at times you weren't sure what you were eating. The meat, no matter what it was. was always, always cooked to death and impossible to cut. We routinely joked about whether we needed a saw to cut the meat or a chainsaw. It was not unusual to wait more than half an hour to get waited on and believe me that is just the beginning!

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Valparaiso Assisted Living and the overall experience has been very good for her so far. The cleanliness, care services and activities are great. I would recommend Brookdale Valparaiso Assisted Living to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Highlands and overall the experience at this facility has been good for her. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and care services are good. The food is the biggest complaint and it has never gotten better - no seasoning, cold when it is supposed to be hot, you have to sit at the table for about a half hour before it is served (they bring out one plate at a time).

Brookdale was a great choice for my mother. She has settled in and is participating in activities and making friends. I worried all the time when she was living alone but now I know she is around other people and has told me how much happier she is overall. I would definitely recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for an independent living location in Fort Myers.

I would recommend Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo. The cost is high, but I realize full time care is expensive.

Overall my sister is happy and that is what matters, but I visit everyday to keep her that way. They do need someone on staff in the evening up until a certain time as I have waited a long to get out or come in. Residents she becomes friends with left and no one told her or me and she is still grieving over that loss. Food is exceptional! I wish I could eat with my loved on every day, but they raised the guest price.

They were very willing to negotiate the cost per my mom's specific needs. So far I would recommend them. My mom is very hard to please so she will find something wrong with every situation eventually.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Allenmore IL and most everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. This facility is a very good place. It is showing signs of wear, but it is clean and it is priced right.

I like the fact that she can go and have good meals twice a day and that she is driven to her doctors appointments. They also have weekly outings to different store that makes it very convenient. Also, they clean her apartment once a week with basic beds and vacuuming type stuff.

She does like the variety of activities that are available as well as the socialization during meals. We are grateful she is less than 10 minutes away. She is happy there. Her only challenge is that she's vegetarian and their idea of vegetarian meals usually involves a lot of cheese, not vegetables.
