Brookdale

The accommodations at Brookdale Highlands Ranch are really quite nice. My mom didn't have the largest room available at this facility, but it was more than plenty enough room for her. The rooms were cleaned weekly, and the common areas were kept up on a daily basis. The staff at Highlands Ranch is very friendly and accommodating. I really liked that they had a six-month review process in place to touch base with family members in the event that there were any concerns or changes that should take place regarding the care of their loved ones. As with most seniors, my mom did not want to leave her home. It took her a couple of months, but with the patience of the staff she settled in and found a level of peace and comfort at the facility.

It is very pleasant and fulfilling to love here. I have made good friends and the staff is very nice.

I have been pleased with my experience at Brookdale Rock Springs. The staff are pleasant and hard- working... They just need more staff to work the various shifts. Meal have improved. They need to remember they are cooking for the elderly.

I love all the activities and everyone who lives and works here.

The nurse and administrative staff are great. The facilities guy is great. The older front desk lady is not very helpful. As far as the activities go, they did not seem to have many activities geared towards men.

We chose Brookdale Tyler East because staff were friendly, caring, they had good food and nice rooms. The patients are very secure. It gives us a lot of peace of mind. It's a very good place to put your family. Highly recommend.

Staff is very helpful, weekly email about events. Place appears sturdy and safe. Owners care for the place, the staff and residents. Would recommend this facility.

There are some hidden costs that are not explained when you commit to the contract. Also, it is somewhat difficult to get a list of what the add ons cost. My sister had some difficulties understanding some of the staff, as English was a second language. If someone is able to function with minimal assistance, it is fine. Just be aware that costs will increase if you need help with bathing medication and getting to the dining room with assistance. They did help her negotiate her first week there. She called it "assist yourself living. " All in all, my sister liked it .

Overall we have been very pleased with the care our loved one has received at Brookdale Spring Shadows.

The place is clean, the staff is friendly and I believe that my wife is well cared for. They have lots of activities for the residents and they encourage residents to interact. They are willing to to take time to answer any questions I have.

She is happy there, and made friends...whole new life for her and she is never alone. The staff is very nice and helpful. Food and food service could be better. More outings would be nice. But overall a good place to live.

We appreciate and like the staff but sometimes communication among the staff about patient information is a challenge. Quality of food could improve and it just takes a long time to get the food out. I know they are probably understaffed

I am very comfortable and enjoy living at Brookdale. I appreciate the staff and their professionalism. When I need something, the staff is responsive to my needs. I feel safe in my apartment and in the facility.

Overall, they have been more than helpful from the very beginning. From having the furniture delivered and setup to dealing with getting her settled in. There have been a few snags but we have gotten things worked out. I would recommend Brookdale Colonial Heights to others.

The facility is always clean- thanks to Ms [name removed]. The front office staff are ok. The nurses for the most part are pleasant. There are one or two lacking in basic courtesies but overall not bad.

Everything is excellent except for the quality of care. He has gone without bedding. They don't remind my dad to put his legs up. He runs out of towels and toilet paper. I'm always talking to the manager and so are his VA aids. Family has to stay on top of things because my dad has a bit of dementia and will go without. They are nice, just not attentive.

Great experience! Great staff…across all functions. Experienced some crazy policy practices but after several attempts to resolve an issue with administration officer, the E.D. stepped in and provided a solution.
