They have personnel who can help her if she falls, and they check on her at least 3 times a day.

Good staff Caring for their guest Even though Brookdale owns and operates this facility * not all Brookdale facilities operate the same way, some charge for certain things while others don't Need to advise that every January a rate hike will occur.

Friendly staff who are helpful and supportive. Clean environment-always smelled good, clean. I would recommend this place if they accept ALTCS. If not, Brookdale was seen to be on the expensive side.

Quality of care is good, available activities are good, food was great but they've changed chefs, so now it's declined. The facility is clean and well maintained - it's great. The apartment is very spacious and bright. Perfect for a couple.

Friendly, clean, homey, good food, good games, puzzles, comfortable chairs, nice windows for good view outside, and good location.

Building was always clean and welcoming. Rooms were good size and staff kept them clean and tidy. Most staff were friendly. If you have questions, ASK! Keep good communications open with the staff. It just helps for an enjoyable and safe stay.

Overall very impressed with physical facilities. Would liked to have spent more time visiting with residents.

If you bring a concern to any of the Med Techs, they respond immediately! Most of the staff is very willing to assist in any way they can. The common areas of Brookdale have just been painted, the rugs are currently being replaced and the cabinetry will be replaced next week in the dining room, so a big facelift for the facility. The residents are given the choices for meals by an aide for lunch and dinner

The large 1 bedroom would suit my needs but I am not ready to move in, yet. Tour was great….loved inside and outside the building! But not ready to move right now. 1 negative…cost is a little high. Peggy Ragsdale

Staff was great. Room size nice. And staff nice.

We have no complaints about Brookdale. My mother really likes it there. I would recommend Brookdale. Great activities director. My mother loves Bible study and worship every day on the television. Lots of coloring and seasonal crafts and events. Mom sat on Santa's lap for a picture during Christmas activities last year. I gave a 4 because there is always room for improvement. We have no complaints.

I didn't like the fact that his showers were not consistently on their scheduled days. The aides sometimes were in short supply. Most of the time they were apologetic for this. They offered a lot of activities - but my husband did not participate in them. Also, he did not like the food. All in all, the personnel were very easy to work with and they did their best. One thing I am not happy with is that I have been getting a bill for the month of December. His last day was Nov. 27th, when he fell, had 2 brain bleeds, brain surgery and ultimately died on Dec. 31. I also have continued to get bills from the pharmacy. I have called, written letters and let them know that I am not responsible for any bills during the month of December. They need to get their records straightened out!!

I love some of the staff there they are very good of keeping you updated and friendly with the people staying there others I get the feeling it's the last place they want to be.

Overall I liked the facility and services. I [name removed] like the alacarte pricing got the care portion The only negative was the site decor. It felt outdated and dark. I prefer something more light bright.

[name removed] was wonderful ... the facility felt very 'institutional' ... it was beautiful and super clean ... maybe it was the VERY annoying sickly sweet fragrance that was blasting from every angle....just too much. Otherwise, it was a lovely facility....but I would not consider it as it didn't 'feel right'.

We have had a few hiccups with billing and things not being very clear but it got straightened out. My Dad has not been real happy with the food. He complains more than likes what they serve. There are two care attendants that he really likes. A few he doesn't, but overall good care.

[name removed] was coming straight out of a rehab hospital with the medical recommendation to discharge to assisted living - she needed more help than we could provide at home. [name removed] from Brookdale was very accommodating, and my mom felt very comfortable with her. She had a number of health issues and tends to keep to herself. The staff was very friendly, though, and eager to get her involved!

The staff is extremely friendly and the aides that take care of my dad are wonderful. Like every situation there are pros and cons. It is hard to compare to other facilities. I would find it hard to 100% recommend this to anybody but not other what other alternatives are out there. That being said I am not 100% satisfied with the overall facility especially the communication after my dad moved in. He has had some really bad experiences that were not addressed as I would expect. There is little or no communication unless I reach out first.

Every one we encountered was helpful and friendly. We liked the look of the rooms in assisted living.
