The details—while minor—are available online, but they weren’t always clear about what is included in each type of facility, such as independent living versus assisted living. At times, the columns of information felt confusing. We arrived on a Saturday, which may have contributed to some of the issues we experienced. There weren’t many people around who could answer questions over the weekend, so a few problems couldn’t be resolved until later in the following week, around Tuesday. Because of this, I would recommend that people try to schedule their move-in during the week rather than over a weekend. That said, once we got settled, the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. The sales manager was also very helpful throughout the process. Overall, the grounds and facility are wonderful, and the meals are great.

The staff is very helpful, their dining accommodations are very good, they keep the rooms, nice and clean. Overall, she seems much more content than she was in her previous residence. Her mental acuity is falling rapidly.

It was a very good experience. Everyone has been extremely helpful. Highly recommend it! Only wish they had some Medicaid beds when money runs out

I had a few hiccups for the first couple days I moved in as there was some billing issues. The problems were resolved. I had assistance with Hope from Starmart spaces and [Name Removed] They made moving in easy and hope helped me with packing up and dealing with the moving companies and even unpacking. My Internet TV and phone were connected the first day. Maintenance staff have been very helpful I give them an A plus[Name Removed] in housekeeping is doing a great job with cleaning my apartment. Front desk is very pleasant and helpful.

I love the aides and the staff. The activity coordinators do a fantastic job in keeping a very shy guy in the social mix. I'm also impressed with CenterWell, the homecare agency with whom Brookdale coordinates. They've been helpful in their communications, their evaluations, and the therapy providers (PT, OT) work so well with my uncle. The facility is lovely, so I have no worries about his physical comfort. I like the option of occasional meals with him in the wonderful bright dining room. With recent warm weather, the courtyard is a gorgeous place to be in the sun enjoying the fresh air. (Looking forward to the seeing the gardening club's efforts and their results soon!) We've been taking advantage of the outings in the wheelchair-friendy bus for the social mix and a change of scenery. Speaking of the bus, the transport 3 days a week to any health-related appointments is a huge plus for a time-strapped relative -- I can meet him at the appointments or ride with him on the bus.

Staff is very patient and communicative

The cost is pricey, but all facilities like this are. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food could definitely be better! A wider selection is needed. Mom is already bored with the food. It seems the menu is rotated only weekly or biweekly at best. The vegetables are always mushy because they're overcooked. And they really need to know that Velveeta American cheese is NOT cheese! But the staff is friendly and helpful. There seems to be many activities, but Mom is slow to join in, so I don't have much info on that yet. Overall, Mom says she thinks she's gonna like it.

Although the caretaker staff has been stable, I expressed concerns on Monday that I have noticed movement on the management team since my Mom moved in [Date Remount] of last year. Executive Director, Office Coordinator, Medical Director and now Medical Assistant have moved on. I made a point of letting them know I'm watching the movement

My father in law has left the facility. He went to live with his sister. He said it was too expensive. But I think it is a nice facility, with great people who care about the community.

The staff is extremely accommodating and always pleasant. Rooms are very comfortable. The community is well-maintained. They offer quite a few activities, outings and exercise options. Dining offerings are ok

Staff are professional and mostly kind. Nurses are good about updating me about any changes in Mom's condition. The food could be better. It's a more home-like environment and smaller, which might appeal to those who would feel kind of lost in a bigger setting. Overall I would recommend.

The staff is good, although there is some high turnover quality of care is pretty good although we stay on top of things. Her room is not very clean, but part of that is her fault.

I recently visited Brookdale Senior Living in Granger, IN. I was pleasantly surprised with the staff which I met, the facilities, the Nurse, the Marketing Director, Destiny Light & how they helped me decide where to go & what care that is right for me.

It was a nice, informative tour of Brookdale. We are just at the “gathering information “ stage and appreciated the time spent with us.

Choosing a memory care facility for someone you love is incredibly difficult, and honestly, overwhelming. We toured so many places, but the moment we walked in the door at Brookdale, something just felt different and we knew she would be well cared for. Our family member has truly settled in. She feels comfortable, knows the people around her, and has found a sense of routine and familiarity that means everything to us. Seeing her at ease has brought us so much relief. She often tells us how happy she is. Before, she would refuse food and barely eat, but now she enjoys three full meals a day, (made from scratch daily!) she clearly feels better and is healthier. The staff has also made a huge impact. They are kind, patient, and treat her with genuine care and dignity. You can feel that they truly see each resident as a person, not just a job. They even welcomed her little dog, which has brought her so much comfort and joy. That level of compassion meant more to us than we can put into words. This isn’t just a facility—it’s a place where our loved one is safe, cared for, and truly supported. For the first time in a long time, we have peace of mind.

Most staff members were kind although the staff at Faith and family hospice was superior. Had some billing issues at the end and had to wait 4 weeks for a refund on an overpayment of $[removed].

The staff are wonderful. My mom loves the food. It feels very welcoming. The activities director is extremely passionate. There hasn't been a ton of follow-up since moving in (reassessing care levels) and it's been hard to get in touch with nursing about some med questions.

A little dingy with the front door needing repair and paint. People are friendly and the facility is about average

My cousin's main complaint is about the quality of the food and attitude of workers in the cafeteria. Her rent increased by 7.75%[date removed]. I thought that was too much increase, but out of my control.

The care is great and the prices are high. I would recommend. They had transitioned their accounting system right when Mom moved in and the invoicing was a nightmare, but it's good now
