Brookdale

I think the staff is engaged and caring. The facility doesn't feel as institutional as the several other places I looked at. I would recommend to others.

4 across the board and what we like the most about the community are the people, activities, the location, etc.

Overall my father has been very happy there. And the price was better than we anticipated

I really enjoy the activities. I look forward to the brain games, trivia and Bingo. I really like sitting in the courtyard with Trix, or resident rabbit. He is very friendly and we enjoy feeding him.

For assisted living, to qualify they must be ambulatory... able to walk around and get up by themselves. There is no other level of care except the dementia/memory care. The are good activities every day, and the residents seem very nice. My Dad has excellent care there, and the food ( especially breakfast ) is very good, with a slow, but attentive staff on hand. There is a courtyard area set up for grilling/ guests if they so choose, and the kitchens are decent, but need permission to turn on appliances due to safely reasons. Cons are the parking lot needs paved... and the nursing staff isn't always attentive to the residents needs. Overall, however everyone is pleasant and my Dad does like it at Brookdale. Overall rating... between 3.5 and 4 stars.

My loved one loves the food, she gets her apartment cleaned and laundry done which are fine. She has become very outgoing and is now a resident ambassador who shows new residents around to get them acclimated.

The cleaning was great at first, but awful when I went to visit Sunday & Monday. I did the dishes & cleaned. He asked if I knew where he could get something to drink as soon as I got there. The apartment size is adequate & the facility size is perfect. I'm not sure if they had a recent staff turn over ir something? Also they washed a pen in his laundry and every thing he owns is ruined with blue ink. He likes it there and that is the most important. I want him to be happy. The staff is friendly.

Nurse [Name removed] was an angel on earth. She has treated my father with respect and has cared for him well during his time there. My only issue was with his frequent falls. At one time, because of a fall, he fractured his ankle. The food was institutional style and the choices were poor. My father passed there[ Date Removed] He was under the care of Hospice

Enjoyed the tour. The location is great. Enjoyed the lunch I was served. It was a real pleasure. Staff were friendly.

I'm sorry. I can't give a 5 due to the information below. The staff took very good care of my mother. Staff had great communication with family. Her ONLY complaint was her seating for meals. She physically wasn't strong , but she craved human interaction and conversation. She did join in on activities that she could. But again, her only complaint was seating for meals.

Staff are friendly, the dining tries to accommodate new food ideas, the three apartment sizes provide for different needs. The only negative was I it took longer than I expected for staff to fully get in sync with my mother's needs.

This place has some of the friendliest most outgoing staff around. All staff calls residents by name from day one. Although assigned to units, staff visits and checks on residents that are not even their responsibility that day. Environment is very pleasant.

We really like the facility. When my mother first moved in, a lot of the information that we needed was not given freely. We had a meeting with the wellness director to discuss services my mother really needed. However some of the items were still not getting taken care of. So I went back to the facility and spoke one on one with a director who immediately got everything taken care of. Everyone is so nice and I feel my mother is getting taken care of correctly. My father sees her daily and I get to see her a couple times a week. I also have a camera in her room, which they allow, and I check on her every so often. They even take care of guests when we are there. We can participate in their activities with our loved ones. All the staff is super friendly and always willing to help when asked. Overall, I am pleased with the facility.

The staff are very friendly and very engaged. The people that live there are very friendly and engaged. They have made repairs that were needed promptly.

One concern is that there does not appear to be a program specifically designed to help new residents acclimate to the transition into assisted living. However, we chose this community over others because of how clean, welcoming, and inviting it felt. We were especially impressed by the open layout, the beautiful dining room, and the attractive courtyard.

The staff at Brookdale were very helpful, but only being there for one month I don't feel like I can honestly give relative feedback other than that.

Mom was only there for a month and a half and she fell and passed. Friendly and clean. Food was fair. Overall it is a place I would recommend.

Most of the time. Believe they are short staffed in the evenings and weekend. I can be a challenge to get someone to answer main number after hours. Recommend so far.

This was a virtual tour with pictures and videos. I currently live in Texas and will schedule an In Person Tour in the future. The information I received from Brookdale was great and very informative. I will definitely tour this location this summer when I travel to Florida.
