I was so impressed with this place, very high priced, I can understand it being higherthough due to the level of care, i saw an exercise group going on but was not exposed to any other activities. I spoke to the chef/ caregivers.

Clarence Bridge has truly been a blessing for me and my husband who has dementia. I was nervous about the transition but every one there made it easy. Questions were asked and answered with ease. And I found that the staff at Clarence Bride are not only concerned with the patient but the caregiver also.

My father in law <br />roger carpenter Sr. has been living at Emeritus for two weeks. He is in his glory and just can't stop telling us how much he likes his new home. He loves the food he loves the tv and coffee room and he loves his apt. and most important he likes all the people he has met. I must say that Audrey and Patrick are a very important part to my father in laws happiness<br />

My mother has lived at seville sinc december 2013 and enjoys it because she always has someone to visit with. She has expressed a desire for more activities. She has also not always been completly satisfied with the food but is not losing any weight which when she was at home she was because she wasn't always eating. Her overall health is better now than when she moved in and I do not worry about her falling which she was doing at home. In my opinion it is a good place for her to be living at this time of her life.

I've only toured this facility and their more advanced care is a little more then my mother needs right now. It was however a very nice facility and if mom needed that level of care I would be very comfortable placing her there. It is a very clean, we'll laid out and homey place. The staff seemed very caring and well managed. Pay a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I had a problem getting my mother over there. I think her first night was the night before last. We haven't been there for very long. They tried to encourage her. I don’t think I can yet rate on value. Everyone has been wonderful. I think that they have chosen people who are very personable, warm, and understanding. We went through six places in the area. This was the best place. We like the small number of patients that they have. The place has more of a homey feel as distinct from an apartment like feel or a nursing home feel. They were very attentive to our questions. The person in charge of the society is very kind warm, and I can tell that he runs a tight ship; he comes across as an extremely good manager, and keeps tabs on what is going on. They have a lot of activities, but my mother hasn't had time to take part in any yet. People introduced themselves and warmly invited her to participate in things, to feel her out about what she might like to participate in. Finally they hit on shopping and casinos, and she lit up. They really keep people busy. They cover a lot of different interests, and they also ask people what they might like to do.

I particularly like the staff. The staff is very up beat, loving, and attentive. My mother is flourishing there. The building is nice, modern, and clean, but the staff is the shining star. When I go in the door I get stopped and hugged. They are absolutely wonderful, loving, and caring. They have so much patience. They laugh and go on with people. I'm in and out a couple of times a week, and I'm always impressed. It really made a big difference in my mother's transition to living there. They have gentivas who come in and do physical therapy with the residents. They are also nice, and they have alot of fun while they work with the patients. One of the CNAs won an award for one of four top CNAs in North Carolina. Communication between CNA's and administration could be better. CNA's ask her questions that should go to administration. The location is convenient. They pay very close attention to taking care of physical needs. One factor in choosing the facility was that a relative who is an RN has a relative there. The place is a little bit expensive, and well worth it.

John Sorrentino has been wonderful to Frank Sinapoli's family even though Frank is not in the Facility we took advantange of the promotion and John made all the paperwork very easy Frank Sinapoli is now in care one in Westwood being rehabilited before he arrives at Emeritus huge applause to John and this facility is wonderful..

Finding the Crossings program for our mom who is physically active with moderate level dementia made all the difference for us! She was recommended at several other places for just assisted living however, knowing her cognitive limitations we were uncomfortable placing her in a less supportive environment. On the other hand, many of the memory care units that we visited didn't seem to be a good fit either since Mom appeared to be more active that the majority of the residents at the visited unit. The Crossings was a unique fit - a program for her current level of needs. Mom has adjusted nicely, often gleefully stating, "They keep us busy"! She enjoys the community outings in addition to the residence based activities. My siblings and I are happy with her transition to the Crossings program at Homewood

This was a difficult decision to make. Thanks to Kathy Accurso at A Place for Mom and Karen Caruthers at Carriage Club the decision was made easier. It's only been a week for her,so far so good. One large asset for CC is the activities coordinator, Kari. She is full of life and appears to have the well being of all of the residents as her main priority.

The facility is beautiful inside with bright colors and ample natural light. The residents are friendly and many have been at the facility for 5 or more years. Staff turn-over is very low and everyone is kind and caring. They work at welcoming new residents and assisting with the adjustment to a new residence.

Eddy Pond is a lovely building with meals, transportation, and staff very helpful. The activities have been really great for my mom. Also laundry and housekeeping is part of the rent fee. I think it has been a great move for my mom.

Santa Catalina Villas: The staff is very professional, nice, and friendly. My loved one likes it there, and loves the food. The facility is very clean. We love Tia, the nurse. They have the best care. Overall I'm satisfied with their services. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

The expression is you only get one chance to make a first impression. They hit the nail on the head! Of all the places we looked at this was the best bang for the buck. Mom has adjusted well to her new surroundings. Thank so much for making this decision to move mom into a assisted living a Pleasant one.

My loved one currently resides in this community and likes it very much. Staff is outstanding, friendly, and treats him very respectfully. He is comfortable there. As a family member I find that the cleanliness of his room could be better and he needs to be a bit cleaner himself. A few items have gone missing but were replaced and appropriately addressed by administration. The common areas are clean and very homey, but sometimes crowded during activities. It was sad that they remodeled the beautiful library, but I can see why as it was not used. Now it is a physical therapy room, but that doesn't seem to be used much either. It is expensive, but the cost is in line with other similar assisted living communities.

Things have gone well so far with Emeritus! It's a well maintained and clean facility, and they do a good job looking out for their residents. My experience is primarily with the memory care section, and I have been impressed by what I've seen. They recently finished some renovations to their memory care section which added a large central common area for the residents to gather and socialize in. The staff are also very friendly, and do a good job encouraging the residents to participate in activities!

Sterling House has been wonderful for Mom. The people have been so understanding and available to me to help make the move as comfortable as possible. She is making great progress and I couldn't be more happy.

Every time I visit there I am more impressed with the facility and the staff.

I chose Santa Catalina Villas for my mom due to the level of care that they provide and the additional services that can be provided when she needs it. Like an escort to her doctors appointments or to the store, if she is feeling unsteady that day. Mom has been there for over a week now and is still getting settled in, learning the staff, the programs, etc. Since my mom has Parkinson's Disease, it was important to me that there was a nurse on site at all times and that level of care could increase as her body declines.

memory Care- Claire Bridge Excellent dedicated director, and Activities director. Thoughtful, friendly and kind staff. Mom has only been there a month, but looks better and seems to be getting very good care. All aides have benn very helpful and kind to her.
