Brookdale

as of July when we left going through changes. It's pretty small compared to other facilities.

The staff here is just wonderful and they treat you like family. The facility is very beautiful and it is always kept clean and sanitary. The residents all seem to be very happy and well taken care of.

A wonderful place. I have been in many Alz. and Dementia places. Hands down this is the best. Every one of the caregivers are warm, friendly ,efficient and capable.They are loving to the patients and take wonderful care of them. Brookdale is a small (37 patients) facility and everyone knows each others name. The administer and all executive staff are all hands on with the patients. The food is good . It took me a long time to finally feel I had found the right place. Most important, my husband is content. Although the cost is way over my budget, I will manage as I feel secure that he is getting the best care.

Brookdale North Phoenix is nice. There were a few mix ups with her medicine but we've gotten it resolved. It was frustrating because they were not very complex instructions. There was a mix up with the laundry also and the staff member was very rude. I haven't heard anything about that lately from my mom so I am hoping the problem has been resolved. She has some dietary restrictions and they didn't really seem to be accommodating her. They were giving her turkey sandwiches all the time. This week she did say the menu is better. I told her as much as she is paying they need to offer more choices with their menu to account for different dietary needs. The facility is beautiful. I love the director there.

His daughter handles all of that, but so far so good. I have heard nothing but good things about the facility. The staff, facility, and the nurses and doctors are nothing short of excellent is what I have been told.

I have an aunt at Brookdale Williamsburg. She is 93 with dementia and unstable in moving on her own, She really has very little family except me and the staff has always gone above and beyond to take great care of her. The nursing staff, aides, food staff and other services really work to provide a caring and consistent environment. She needs more assistance than many residents and it is given willingly. They make sure she eats well, is clean and always included in activities. So many of the staff give her that little "extra " attention. Since she cannot be on her own,she is very fortunate to be in a place with such a truly caring and attentive staff.

My in-laws took a beautiful apartment there, and they were there for two days when my mother-in-law fell down and broke her hip and had to go to the hospital. After that, my father-in-law decided she did not want to stay there, My mother-in-law loved it, but my father-in-law did not. She liked the activities, liked the apartment, and liked the meal plan where she did not have to cook. We were really disappointed with how things worked out, because it was a very nice place.

With any placement of a senior there are always glitches. This facility has worked with myself and my family to make this transition for my family member as easy as [possible. Staff is present and helpful. I would highly recommend. I am in the health care industry so I am a tough critic.

I toured here when I was looking. I liked them, they were in my top three. They were pretty comparable in every way to my first choice. The only thing against them was they would have been a little more expensive.

Brookdale is great, it's a good place. The people are very nice. They have been good about responding to her needs and with the care. One person even went and bought a can of soup she wanted when she wasn't feeling like eating, because they were worried about her. They went above and beyond and really seem to care about her.

They staff really cares and have bent over backwards for my mom in getting the care she needs. They are so personable and care for my mom as a human being and not just a number. They really get to know their residents and what's best for them. My mom was in a bad home before and was just allowing her to lay in the bed all day and rot. But where she is now they make sure she's getting social and activity time. I'm so glad I moved her to this home away from home.

While my loved one has only been at Brookdale Mandarin Central for just more than a month, I am very pleased with the choice we made for her. It is clean; there is no "nursing home" smell, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I spent a great deal of time researching facilities in the Jacksonville area, and Brookdale offered the greatest number of services and activities -- at any cost. My sister was very upset about moving into a care facility, but she has settled in nicely and is very happy. When I visit, she is out of her room participating in activities or visiting with other residents. She also enjoys the outings (other facilities didn't make this a part of the residents' experience}. Finally, she thoroughly enjoys the food!

Everyone is very friendly and professional. My father adjusted much more quickly than I ever thought he would. I believe it's the way they care about their residents that helped make Dad less homesick right from the start. I am sleeping nights again knowing he is safe and well cared for.

Just worked out great. I could not have ask for better help and understanding.

The staff have been really nice at Brookdale Lakeshore. My mom is happy there. The staff take real good care of her. They keep her busy with activities. Every time I have been to visit everything is really good.

One thing that needs improving at Brookdale Montrose is better communication on the meal plan. The lunch they serve is is half portions. They have to pay extra for a whole sandwich. I think they should have been a little more clear about that upfront. Overall they are pretty happy with this facility and I am too.

The personnel were great from the first step in the door. Mom and Dad were apprehensive coming from a 4000SF personal residence to an assisted living apartment. The staff helped quell their concerns. The activities at this facility will help Mom and Dad reconnect with people. The on-site hair salon was a big plus for Mom. Both have complained that there is too much food served at each meal, and it is too good to throw away.

We love it. We don't have any complaints at all so far. Not even about the food. They seemed to be about in the middle of road price wise. We are very happy with them, I would give them a 4.75, at this point.

It is fantastic at Brookdale Skyline. He is very happy there. I am really pleased with this facility. I cant think of anything they could improve on. It's been a really good experience here. The facility is great.
