Brookdale

I toured several facilities to find a place my Mom, who has minor physical issues, would be kept active, socialized and in a program to help her with her memory issues. I narrowed my search to 2 places and then did several visits while I tried to decide. I'm glad I did that because the one I thought would provide the best atmosphere and staff for my Mom didn't stand up to the multiple visit test. Mom has lived with me for the last 2 years since she was widowed. She had a caregiver she liked with her during the day while I was working. I could see her struggling with things like panicking in the night thinking she was all alone, forgetting who we were, and getting into a loop of saying the same thing over and over. When the caregiver was moving out of state, I decided to research the memory care option. Brookdale Montrose checks all the boxes. She has lovely surroundings, a caring staff, LOTS of activities that she's participating in regularly, and some new friends at 91 years of age. Last night she told me, "They treat me like a queen, I like the food, and I feel safe." I see her engaging with life again. At our house, she would often sit at the table while we were talking after dinner with her eyes closed. She didn't add to the conversation, but she would laugh. At Brookdale Montrose, she is crossing the room to speak to people and has her eyes open to all that is going on there.

The people at Filmore were very pleasant and helpful in helping us to find a place for us to live. They answered all our questions and made us feel at home from the start. We found the facility to be very clean and in great condition. We have only been here 3 weeks but are finding it to be a very nice place to live.

Other than a few problems with the management we are very pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale! The aide staff is very friendly and caring, and Mom really loves the place so far! They renovated her apartment before she moved in got everything looking very nice. The only real issue has been some communication problems with the management. There were some minor issues with her appliances, as well as a problem with the first months bill, and it has been difficult trying to get in touch with the appropriate person. But overall Mom really loves it here!

For the most part the staff are really nice at Brookdale Syline. I would say that some of the dining room staff are not as pleasant as what they should be. They just don't seem very patient. Overall it has been a pleasant experience here.

We toured here, and we were really impressed with it. It was really nice, expensive, but nice. I was particularly impressed with the physical therapy and rehab. They have a restaurant booth and a car to practice getting in and out.

I think that they need to do a little more in terms of activities. But they do a good job in terms of taking people around on the bus and going to Walgreens and Walmart and that sort of thing. I am impressed by them.

We checked out several facilities and Brookdale at Stonebridge Ranch was the one that my mother-in-law chose to move into. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make a special effort to satisfy her.needs.

When I go visit Brookdale New Hope the nurse gives me prompt and accurate service. Anything I need she helps me with. The marketing lady is also excellent. My sister is in good of shape now being in this facility as she was before her stroke. Things are really working out well for her there. My only complaint is I haven't gotten the billing straightened out yet.

The staff at Brookdale, formerly Emeritus At Farm Pond is just phenomenal. They treat the residents and their family members like family. It is a clean, safe environment that offers many stimulating activities, lots of places to sit with fellow residents (both inside and out), and the food is fabulous! The grounds are superior. My mother enjoys looking out her window at the beautiful trees and all the people/children walking on the trail. I highly recommend this beautiful community.

Overall we're very pleased with how things have turned out at Brookdale Westover Hills! The people here are very friendly, and I was really impressed with their customer service throughout the whole process. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take great care of the people who live here. The only issue I've had is that I think they could make communication with the nursing staff a little easier, it can be hard to know who to call or to get put in touch when you do call, if you have questions. But overall it is a very nice place!

Overall we're very pleased by how things have gone at Brookdale Orange Park! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the people here have been very easy to work with. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and anything we've asked they've been more than happy to work with us on. They're also very good about keeping us updated on the status of our loved one!

I think they do a very good job overall at Brookdale South Park, we're very pleased with how things have turned out. I thought they did an excellent job during the tour and move-in process, they really let us get a feel for the place and went out of their way to make sure my loved one felt welcome. There were a few small hiccups with some services in the first few days, but once I pointed out the issues they got them corrected quickly.

They made the transition very easy. They also are very helpful when I have a question. My husband is much younger then the other residents and that's a little difficult for him. He's starting his third week. They tell me he'll settle in as time goes by. He tells me the food is not to good. And coming from him it must not be to tasty, because he'll eat it anything. When it's time to leave he wants to come home with me, There very helpful in distracting him so I can leave.

It was so easy to choose beautiful Tallgrass. I am so thrilled. My mom lives there and is happy, comfortable and enjoying her life. I love the fireplace in the great room as you enter. Her apartment is very nice as well. Everything is fresh and sparking clean. Everyone from the Executive Director to the nurse to the chef has a genuine smile and warm welcome. This is the place to live a happy independent life!

My husband was at Clare Bridge for more than three years. The caregiver staff was caring, compassionate, and attentive to his needs. Although there is often turnover in assisted living facilities, the administration was invested in maintaining continuity of caregivers/activity facilitators for the sake of creating a predictable structure and providing cognitive stimulation. The caregivers were kind and amazingly patient with residents and relatives alike. The administration worked tirelessly to ensure a quality of individualized care, and they were always responsive to concerns that would inevitably arise given the nature of the disease. The skill of the activity personnel varied, but finally stabilized during the last year. Friends, family, and colleagues all agreed that it was the perfect fit for my husband for the time he lived there. In fact, his confusion and agitation improved after he moved in because he could navigate autonomously in a safe environment. Clare Bridge became our extended home, and for meeting our needs during this chapter of our marriage, we feel deep appreciation and gratitude.

Everyone there was very friendly, very welcoming, and very professional. And they all genuinely cared about all the residents. They are a great group of folks. I cannot think of anything that they can improve on.

I think they're doing a good job at Brookdale Oakwood. I like the amount of personalized care that each resident receives! My loved one has memory issues and I like knowing that the staff at Brookdale are keeping him active and social. It's a very nice place overall!

My grand mother is currently living at Brookdale Chandler Ray Road and they have taken really good care of her. They are very patient and always make an effort to ensure that she is comfortable. If there is any care that she needs which they are not able to provide they are good about helping her get the care that she needs.

The staff helped with my Dad's transition from his home of 54 years to assisted living.

We are very happy with them so far. I really don't have any complaints about food or parking, or anything really. Everything seems pretty good so far. It's really working out. I would give them a four and a half.
