Brookdale

The community has various activities offered on site and of site for their residents. During my tour the guide was able to show me all around and i got to meet some nice staff. The community looked clean. Meals are also offered to residents that reside there and would like to be on the communities meal plan.

The staff are working with my Mother in law to ensure she is receiving the proper diet. They have answered all our questions and seem nice. They offer a wide variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. I like this community and I would recommend it.

I was at this Community today and very impressed with the happiness of the Staff and how clean this Community looked. It is very well organized and the Managment Staff is excellent. I would highly recomend this Commumity and would move in one of my loved ones.

My tour of this community was a pleasant one. The staff was kind and friendly. From what I saw the community is pretty well maintained. All my questions were answered. I noticed some activities, and I saw a menu. Overall it was a pleasant tour.

I believe my dad is getting proper and good care. I am able to speak with the staff when needed. I am told that the food is good. My dad gets to help clean up and joins the music recreation, he has made friends along the way. The have a room with a T.V. and an indoor and outdoor garden. Everything is looking good.

I am very pleased that my mother in law is engaging in activities. She has participated in music, arts and loves going outside. I really like that the community set up is the same all around. If we had to move her she would be able to adjust very well because it won't be a big change for her. Great community overall.

So far I am very happy here. The personnel couldn't be nicer or more helpful. There are many activities to enjoy.Something for everyone.

The staff at Great Bend Brookdale was exceptional. My sister would often say how well she was treated and how much she loved the girls that took care of her. When it comes time to make a decision about assisted living I would highly recommend this facility. Great job ladies!!

My mother moved in almost a month ago. The facility is clean and easy for her to get around with a cane. The residents are friendly and it has been easy for her to make friends, The best point is the helpfulness and friendly staff. They are very attentive and make life much easier and enjoyable. The rocking chairs are great!

The two people we spoke with before my mom moved in were really great. They made the move as easy as possible. They are good at keeping me updated on my mom's care. The community is kept clean. The food is good most of the time. I would recommend this community for people that are independent. The staff are good at encouraging her to socialize and participate in activities.

Staff has been very helpful and continues to be very concerned with my mother's care. They have communicated with me every time there is any change in her care or health. Communication is far superior to what I experienced with a full service nursing home, and the environment is much better for my mother.

This facility is very nice and my loved one enjoys the people who live there and the employees who he comes in contact with. It well-designed to manage the residents and keep them safe. The employees are friendly and caring and do a good job in re-directing and meeting the needs of the residents. The food is good and he enjoys the meals and the conversation with people at his assigned table. The activity people work very hard to vary the activities and do things that challenge the level of ability of the group. Personal care, showers and laundry, could be more consistent. The linens are well-used and need upgrading. We just use our own as much as possible. All in all I would recommend this facility.

My husband has a good rapport with one of the staff members and she is the only one that can get him to go to the dining room for meals. The residents wear a panic button and this makes me feel secure about him being there. I would recommend this well taken care of community.

My loved one is doing ok since moving into this community. He is receiving home health care in addition to the care he receives at the community. He is getting what he needs and he is not alone. The staff are good with communication, attentive and helpful. The food is good and he says they feed him to much. I would recommend this clean well taken care of community.

This has been a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and attentive and communicates frequently and well with our family. The staff speak kindly to each other and to residents and address residents by their name. The food has been good. We are feeling good about having our loved one become a resident at Brookdale Beavercreek.

I am very pleased with Brookdale at this time. My 90 year old father has been there 3 months now and considering his state of mind they are very patient with him (he is in the memory section). He has his good days and bad just like at home and I like the way the staff tries to derail his down days. There is always two to three staff members there 24 hours a day. The burden upon my mother was getting too great and she needs the last of her years to be less stressful and happy. The staff seems to be very friendly and happy to work there. He is always clean and fresh shaven when I visit. I also think the food is very good and plentiful. They have a lot of activities, not that my father will attend, but they try. He did seem to enjoy the last road trip touring the town. My mother is also happy and hers is the most important opinion.

The staff at this community are great. They call my dad by his nickname which he likes. I do have a few minor issues that I know when I talk to them they will be addressed. They have good food and the community is very clean.

So far, I am happy with the Brookdale facility. The people there are fantastic. Using A Place For Mom was a great way to narrow down places where I could move my mom to. So far she is happy and likes it there. We will see how things go in the coming weeks, but as of now, everything is great.

This is a clean and nice community that my mom enjoyed living in. She is now out of the community as she is doing much better than expected. The food was good and the community is very clean. The staff are very attentive and took excellent care of her. I would recommend this community.

Beautiful renovations & upgrades. Lovely apartments. Perfectly located near Old Town Whittier. Devoted, friendly, long time staff members. Dining room appears to be understaffed at times. Food can be, understandably & by necessity, bland.
