I am happy with West Side Manor, Emeritus on Long Branch Road, Liverpool, NY. I just feel there should be more staff in dining room and maintenance. They seem to be overworked.

From the first day I visited Sterling House, I knew this was the place for my mom. Everyone was so friendly and willing to answer any and all questions. Lee Gillis, the Sales Manager, was more than accommodating in working with us and my schedule. The grounds are kept very nice and the landscape changes with the seasons. The dining room is very homey and my mother loved it as soon as she walked in. She's been there only a few weeks, but is very happy and beginning to join in some of the activities.

Sterling House is a fairly new assisted living center and is well maintained, pretty and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Mom only lived there for one week.. So far, we're very pleased

Visited on Saturday Oct 19th with Kelly. My sisters and I thought Kelly was very compassionate and knowledgeable about our mother's health condition. The practices of the community will help our mother thrive, and think this will be a good fit for our mother. So much so, that we placed Mom on a waiting list.

Liked that it was all one level. Staff and residents friendly. Medication monitoring kind of high.

My mom is at STonebridge and I am pleased with the care she recieves. The staff are amazing and kind. The building is warm and friendly. My mom is HAPPY and I am at peace when I leave. Thank you Stonebridge!

If I could afford a place like this as I age I would go here. They're very good to my aunt, when she went in there, the place we took her out of was giving her drugs so she couldn't get out of her wheelchair without falling; they took her off of all of those, now she's mobile, she doesn't have to be in a wheelchair and she's much happier. Although Clare Bridge was a little more expensive than some of the other, it appeared to be a better arrangement with the pods. The rooms are off of the pods and it's a really good situation, there's someone within each pod day and night so if someone gets out of bed or needs something they're there. Alzheimer's is all they do, they're very familiar with it and their staff is very good and kind, it's well worth the cost.

My parents liked the place, it ended up that the money was more than they could handle and the people we had talked to said the VA would be able to help and they wouldn't. My father is the one that has dementia and he felt that he was trapped at Legacy. They were happy with it though, they were happy with everything, the staff, they had several doctors that came in to see them, the transportation. The only thing is they didn't take everything that was offered to them, they caould have taken them to the grocery store and different things but they just relied on my sister in law and brother.

So far everything's been great, everybody there is great, everybody's friendly, I've had no problems with them at all. My mom LOVES it, she didn't realize how much she hated living with me until she moved there. She's got other people her age and she loves the food, she loves her room and there's nothing she doesn't like. Everything worked out for the best and she's as happy as a lark. We couldn't be happier either, I looked at other places but I just felt like I was being led here.

The meals are pretty good. The housekeeping is good. The laundry...there are a few issues but overall everything is good. Sometimes they forget to do her laundry or they take it and don't bring it back. Sometimes they bring back other things that are not hers. The activities seem to be very good. They have games, they do exercising, movies, they go out to the grocery store once a week and the library once a week. They go out to lunch, at least one Friday a month they do a casino trip or something like that. This month they're going up to apple country. There are lots of activities. My mom has gotten really good care and I think they are doing a really good job except for the laundry. It seems to be a very nice place for my mom to live. It's really light inside the building well kept.

I liked this place but it's independent living. I liked the location, it's really close to me and it felt really good too but as my father's Alzheimer's progressed we would have to move him and we didn't want to do that.

They've been outstanding, everything's been great, they've handled everything very well and I think we have an outstanding set up. She's not happy there, she wants to go back home but nobody in that part of the Carolina House is happy, they all want to escape but I think that's part of the dementia. Everything's good, she's fairly healthy, going to the bathroom by herself and all of that but the things she eneds help for is really good. The whole family's been real pleased with how things have been going down and how they handle things. They've got good staff and good people, Tressa was really the deciding factor for us because, to be honest with you, they all start to look the same.

The staff at this location was really warm and welcoming. They showed a real concern for mothers needs and care. Everyone was terrific.

Unfortunately he doesn't get involved in a thing, but that's not their fault. It looks like, for someone who wants to get involved, there's a lot of things for them to do. I like everything, I understand the food's great, it's always clean, I go in there once or twice a week and it's where I would want to go if the time came. They had a little deal going and he gets it for life, he has a little studio and some extra care. There might be more women here and of course he says they're all old but we're working on getting him to do more.

I enjoyed speaking with Jay. He was very professional and kind concerning the needs of my parents. The site is well kept and has a fun ambiance. Movie theater, lounge, airy, and spacious.

I was able to find this wonderful, caring place for my mother through A Place For Mom.com and was very, very happy from the first visit. They worked with me from the beginning stages all the way to today. Mom is happy and well taken care of. They are helpful, caring, respectful, understanding and completely open to any and all my questions. It's clean, attractive and homey. They have activities for the residents if they want to include themselves in them. I am highly recommending Emeritus at Victorian Court as the ideal place for anyone needing assisted living. Thank You
