Frankie was so helpful with finding a place for Mom. She gave me a lots of choses and recommended only places based on the information I gave her. I would highly recommend her as well as A Place for Mom for anyone looking for a place for their loved ones. The Willows at Sherman was chosen based on the facility, staff, cleanliness and distance from my home. I could not be happier. My Mother has dementia and I was worried about moving her from her previous home to The Willows. The move was necessary due to my moving to this area. The Willows has a homey atmosphere and the move has been the best thing I could have ever done for her. I am closer to her and she seems so happy with her surroundings.

Sterling House of Norman has been absolutely marvelous! It's a beautiful, clean, well kept community. It is a smaller community, which I like because she gets more individual attention from the caregivers as well as it being easier for her to navigate in general. The staff are very friendly, and there is always someone available to help with whatever she might need!

The meals are very good, and they have lots of choices. We liked that it was a secure environment, even for assisted living. It's a very clean, very updated place. The staff is very friendly. My loved one gets great quality of care. There are a lot of activities going on, so many! We really are very pleased with them.

Our crisis happened on a Tuesday when I found that a friend, with dementia, was being neglected by his carers. I e-mailed his only relaive, a daughter who, although English, is now living in Qatar. She had planned to be here in July to look at different facilities in the Sarasota area. But now there was an urgency. I googled "nursing homes with memory units" and within minutes heard from Mirian Bosch, representing A Place for Mom,with whom I discussed the problem. She got on it right away and e-mailed both Rebecca, the daughter, and me with information on several possibilities in this area. Included was the location, cost and photos of each. Rebecca decided on Clare Bridge, because it was closest and she corresponded by e-mail with Hope Owens from Clare Bridge who was extremely helpful. By Friday, Dennis was admitted and is doing quite well. Although he has only been there for 2 weeks, I find the staff unusually attentive. They know every resident by name. Food is good, Rooms are especially attractive. The staff discourages residents from staying in their rooms and are constantly entertaining them with people from the outside as well as staff members (two days ago their cook was giving a lesson in how to make mozzarella after which he served it to each one as a salad. the group loved it. I give thanks to Miriam Bosch of A Place for Mom for putting us on the right track. At a time when feelings are in turmoil and anxiety is at its highest, it's good to have a friend like that to see you through.

My Dad has lived independently for over 10 years. It was a difficult process to get him to agree that he needed someone to watch over him. He and I are 1500 miles away from each other. The staff at Grand Court were very accommodating during the check in period and, since then as well. My Dad suffers from mild dementia and is not always the easiest to deal with. Add to that the fact that he has lived alone for those many years. The staff has been extremely patient with him. After several visits to the facility and, discussions with the management at Grand Court I am secure in the fact that Dad has acclimated and is cared for.

They are doing great. We really like the staff. They have been very responsive. They seem to have some interesting activities, I even get invitations for family events. I get complaints about the food, I would give it a three. Some of the portions can be a little small, and the quality could be better. I think they do a really nice job. I am really impressed. I liked that it was smaller than some of the other places, and I liked the location.

It's wonderful. They are awesome. Some times the staff will do things for the residents out of their own money. One lady Veronica, went and bought party decorations, for my moms birthday. They go above and beyond for everyone, it's like a big family, with the staff. They have a program where they will help her get all her toiletries and things, they can get them a lot cheaper. They have a good variety of activities, if you look at the little pamphlet that they send out, they have lots of memory exorcises, and they have a town square, they have people that come in and play the piano, they have physical activities. They are very encouraging, and they get the residents involved.

They've done a great job at Emeritus at Spruce Wood taking care of my loved one! The staff here are wonderful. The community has a family feel, and the employees genuinely seem to care about the residents. The head nurse in particular has been wonderful to work with. It's a clean, well kept facility, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking into options for their loved ones.

Geri Tucker did an amazing job of explaining how my Mom would be taken care of and all the services and activities. I got a wonderful room there, new carpet, paint! The entire home smelled clean and was kept immaculately. Staff are very friendly and I am excited I will have my Mom close by.

My mother suffers from a dementia that leaves her very confused about everything, and Clare Bridge of Sarasota has been a very good fit. Staff there work hard to involve the residents in many different activities throughout the day, and they are truly competent, caring, diligent and friendly. The community has a nice "homey" feel, the menus are diverse, and the food is excellent. My mother's former facility was content to leave her sitting in a wheelchair in the hallway the majority of the time. Clare Bridge staff members are actually working with her to get her out of the wheelchair, because she is able to walk with assistance.

We're incredibly pleased with how things have gone with Brendenwood! It's a very nice looking, clean community, and at a great price. There's not a bad thing I can say about them! The staff are very friendly and caring, and even though my loved one hasn't been here long they already know who I am and greet me when I come in for a visit!

This was a most wonderful home for my Mom. Very NOT fancy, VERY home-like. The caregivers are absolutely WONDERFUL ~ kind, patient, truly loving, and always maintain a sense of humor. Each resident is respected and treated as an individual whose life has been interesting and meaningful. The more time I spent there visiting, the fonder I became of the place, the caregivers, and the other residents. I highly recommend it!

They were extremely accommodating. They really went out of their way for us. The staff was wonderful. Unfortunately we weren't there for very long. They did a good job while we were there. My loved one didn't like the food, and they went out of their way to try to accommodate that.

OUR TOUR FELT LIKE WE WERE HOME. HAIQOUHI WAS VERY DETAILED IN INFORMING US OF ALL THE SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES. IT WAS GOOD TO SEE THE RESIDENTS MOVING ABOUT AND HAVING SOME INTERACTION WITH THEM AS WELL. THE RESIDENTS COMMENTS WERE ALWAYS POSITIVE AND THEY WERE EXTREMLY FRIENDLY. THE FEELING OF 'HOME' IS TRULY FELT. LUNCH WAS EXCELLENT AND ALL STAFF APPEARED TO RECOGNIZE AND ACKNOWLEDGE US. HAIQOUHI IS TRULY AN ASSET TO BUILDING A COMMUNITY, FIRST FOR THE RESIDENTS AND THEN FOR STAFF. A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE.

We're very pleased with Chambrel at Club Hill! I can't think of a single thing wrong with it. I guess the biggest problem so far is that the chef is so good I'm really having to watch what I eat so I don't put on too much weight! It's a clean, well kept community, and if I could I'd give the staff a 10 out of 5 in friendliness! They really are a great community, and we'd recommend them to anybody.

It’s a memory care facility. We thought it too would be very nice. Financially it was a little higher priced than what we went with. We were concerned about should our loved one outlive her resources. When you call and have questions or concerns – whether you end up arranging care or not – they too were always there and willing to be helpful.

We’re very, very pleased with them. They just really went out of their way – they should anyway – to make sure that everything at the time of her admittance was in order because we had to fly her in from the Midwest. They were very accommodating – getting in and preparing her room. It went very well. We are very pleased with her placement.

We did a lot of research prior to selecting this community and we thought this one was the cleanest, nicest, least institutional looking places. The food is really good. There is enough parking. It’s just a really good experience.

So pleased with the entire experience interacting with the team at Grand Court. I visited about 10 independent living locations and narrowed the ones to take my Mom down to 3 top choices. Grand Court was my first choice so I took my Mom there for lunch. Jennifer and the team customized the visit so she enjoyed lunch with a couple of women with similar interests and by the time we finished lunch, my Mom asked "When can I move in?" She signed the lease that week and it's been an incredible experience ever since. We were contacted by the on-site Physical Therapy team within the first week with recommendations. They contacted her Doctor and facilitated bi-weekly physical therapy sessions to strengthen her legs. One month after moving in, I asked her what she misses most about the house she lived in for over 60 years. She said she misses the house her 9 kids grew up in but other than that, she's glad she made the decision she did (and wishes she made it earlier). When I asked her what her favorite thing about her new place is, she said the people. Both the ones who work there and the other residents. They are all so nice and call me by name. I couldn't have wished for a better outcome for she and our family. We feel an INCREDIBLE peace of mind and are thrilled with the decision we made. The one thing I would recommend to anyone considering moving forward to find someone for their relatives is to choose somewhere that feels like their personality. We didn't go for the slickest/glossiest location but somewhere the team working there and the facility "felt like my Mom" and we haven't been disappointed on any front. A special THANK YOU to Jennifer and Michelle and the entire Team at Grand Court for the time they continue to take getting to know my Mom and making her feel comfortable and welcome as she transitioned into her new place. I will never forget the sign they placed on her door that said "Welcome Home Bea" and when Jennifer brought a beautiful potted plant and kitty Treats for my Moms cat that made the move with her. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!

really liked this place. the marketing person(not Tim) was very intrusive and a definite turn off. however she did agree to see me earlier than scheduled. However, when I came back with my mother and saw Tim she was impressed. just not ready to leave home. told my mom that when I am unable to take care of myself anymore that is where I would go.
