Brookdale

At Brookdale Northshore friendliness is 5+. I've been real happy with the way mom has felt welcome by everyone. The staff are so friendly. What I would change is they have one guy that does good at maintenance. The other maintenance worker is not so good. Marv is trying to do it all and he cant keep up. He does a great job and is always trying so hard. They just need more capable maintenance workers. Other than that she loves this facility. She is happy. Mom said the perfect words just this weekend, "I feel like I'm home."

We found this location to be better for my parents and with the proximity to our home we were close by if help was needed. The hallways were roomy & allowed for resident personalization. The apartments were very well laid out with plenty of storage. We appreciated the space devoted to the bathroom area so that the resident is safe & has a place for their linens and bathroom supplies. The dining room was spacious with room between tables for a wheelchair or walker. The option of a covered garage was very important to my father.

My loved one stayed here for a little more than a month. We were happy with them. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was okay, but they didn't offer choices. They were pretty comparable in price to the other places we looked at. We liked the location and the setting, it wasn't on a busy street.

My Mom was a resident at this wonderful place. She had pretty severe Dementia but was mobile and social. The entire staff treated her like a Queen and went above and beyond my expectations to care for her like a Loved family member instead of just a job. I could not have asked for better care for her. Adriana, the Manager, was so wonderful and was never afraid to work right along side her staff when needed for caregiving. The cost was very competitive to other facilities and the quality of care was outstanding. One of the biggest factors for my choice was the stability of the staff and the lack of staff turnover common at many similar facilities. Mom passed away in May 2015, but she did so among people that loved her and with dignity and it was a smooth peaceful process facilitated by a trained and well prepared staff. I will always be indebted to Brookdale of Tempe for their incredible care.

Because it was brand new, I think their care would be better if they understand the disease a little more, that there are different kinds of dementia. They need to make sure they have better individual activities too, because sometimes the group activities are stimulating enough. They also need to fight the doctors and be willing to not give medications that have black box warning on them.

We love Brookdale. I don't have any complaints so far. I would say they get a five. Their food is even good!

My mom is really happy there. She has been there 3 weeks. It is independent living with a plus! They pay a great amount of attention to her and made the transition very easy. I have received great communication from the staff, which makes me feel comfortable having my mom there.

We are really pleased all around with Brookdale Midland. It is a really nice facility. It's very clean. The staff are quite friendly there. It has been an overall good experience here.

I'm so grateful for A Place For Mom. Jessica worked very closely with me to find a place suitable for my dad and recommending that he move outside of New York State to avoid putting him in a nursing home was the best move we could have made. Lanier Place in Georgia is exceptional, from the care, the staff, the activities, the meals, my dad is living life to the fullest right now.

Well we moved in and they were very courteous both before and after we moved in. The property was gorgeous, you would just have to see it. Everything they have done with it is just "Wow". My father likes the food. Everything turned out really well

They are just very attentive and they just really seem to pay attention to each residents' needs. When something is going wrong or they have an issue, they definitely communicate well, so I feel like they do a good job with individual care.

Our experience with Brookdale Port Charlotte has been absolutely wonderful, I'd rate them higher than 5 if I could! Right when you walk in the door it just has a different feel than other places I've been, it just feels like a warm, cozy, family home. The staff know all the residents by name, and they all seem to get along great! I've even seen the managers out participating in activities with the residents. I've also been very impressed by the dining service. The residents are treated like guests at a restaurant, and there are always plenty of choice. And the food itself is lovely! I really can't say enough good things about this place!

It is great at Brookdale Fort Collins. The staff really encourage Gram to go to activities. She is an introvert but they really encourage her to get out and engage. She never eats meals alone. They have a beautiful garden area which she loves. We are really happy with the way things are going. This is the right facility for her.

Dad is having a blast at Brookdale Medi Park West. Layna has been extremely helpful to us. She is good about calling back when we have questions or need help. The staff and the residents that live there are very nice. The residents really like living there. Overall it has been a really good experience.

Brookdale Muirfield is a very clean and capable community to serve the Seniors in central Ohio. The staff is superb, especially the Sales Rep. she is very professional and knowledgeable about the Senior Housing Industry. She also had first hand experience with her mother in researching the best place in her area of town. The nursing staff is very attentive and seem to genuinely care for the health and well-being of the residents. The activities can use some upgrading per the residents, but I hear they are working on that currently. Also turnover and leave of absence in the E.D. position has made it a bit difficult to get answers to some billing, maintenance and care issues recently. I hope when the E.D. returns things will stabilize for the better. Overall, our family has been pleased! The food is great also!

At Clare Bridge Brookfield I would rate friendliness a 10 if I could. When the staff came to do the interview they were so kind. They were just the best people that I talked to. They gave us religious freedom. The staff and management are just amazing at this facility. They really met our needs in a difficult situation.

It has just been a great experience with the Brookdale Parkplace facility. My loved one is very happy with the place and likes being there. Overall, it has been a really positive experience for everyone.

They have done everything just top-notch. Their attentiveness to my brother's needs, everything, they have just been on the ball and with keeping us in the loop of everything. A thousand times better than where he was.

We chose this one. The main selling point for us was that the available apartment had a separate bedroom and a patio out onto a green area so it feels like going out in the backyard from the living room. Libby and Luz worked with us to make the process as smooth as possible due to an extremely short time frame to move in.

I'm excited to finally move my mom to Brookdale. The staff has been wonderful to work with as I coordinated a long distance move. Sheila, Will, Kristy, and Lisa have all gone out of their way to make this transition as easy as possible!
