Brookdale

I love this community, and my grandmother is doing very well here. We haven't had any problems, and everything has worked out very well. Out of all the places I looked at this was the best. I know she is safe and in an good place. They have a amazing staff, they have been great to work with. She is doing great at this is community, and I would recommend it.

The community was nice but alittle bigger then what we were needing. The staff was outstanding and did answer all of the questions we had. The food seemed to be appealing. They offered a good variety of activities to stay active. The community was very clean and well take care of. We would recommend the care and value to other families.

I am very happy with the care that my father is getting from the wonderful staff here. The community is nice and very clean, He is happy with the food and we were able to have the holiday with him, we were also happy with the variety of the meal. Activities are offered to him and there are times when he will participate in the good activiteis. He seems to be happy and that helps his family. He moved in and met alot of friends and they gave him a small birthday party on the very next day after arriving. He feels at home here. We like knowing that he is near by and close to our home. We would highly recommend this community to families for all around care and value .

The staff here has made mom feel like she is at home. They are very interactive with all the residents and I really like that. It feels like a home instead of an institution. Everything has been clean pretty much except for the trash being emptied, but as soon as you let them know they are right on it. I also like that mom can walk around and look at the birds that they have and the genie pigs. She really enjoys that.

My father absolutely loved the food at this community, he always made sure he was first in line and most of the time got seconds. The staff are very much involved in the residents activities and often take them on outings. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone.

I like that care that mom is g3tting here. The many activities that she is doing are wonderful for her. They offer bingo, music and games that she seems to enjoy with others. All of the staff shows one on one attention that they care. The food is outstanding. I am feeling so much better know that she is in a clean and caring community. I highly recommend this community for outstanding care.

My friend is doing great here at this community. They are doing a great job caring for her and needs. She has adjusted well, and we both are very pleased with everything. I know she is safe and in good hands. They have a great staff, they have been very attentive and helpful. Everything has worked well for her here. This is a community I would recommend.

This community is a six on a scale of one to five. The people are great and have bent over backwards to help us. The community is clean and they offer daily activities.

[Removed] is amazing! What a great representative of a beautiful ad welcoming community. The food and atmosphere at Brookdale West are wonderful! The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming form the phone calls, to [Removed] greeting us at the door, to the dining and care staff. This was an excellent experience and at the top of our list!

Mother is happy here. Staff really seem to care about her well being. Everyone is very responsive and we have been pleased. Not the fanciest place but it does the job.

This was a different community then what we were looking for. The rooms are a lot like a hotel atmosphere. The staff was nice and answered all of the questions we had. The activities would of been offer for my mom to participate. The value was good, but not a fit for my mom's needs. This might be a good fit for others, but recommend to see if the environment would work for them as well.

My mother lived here two times and both times received wonderful care from the staff. Both my mother and I were very pleased with the care that the staff provided. Everyone here went above and beyond to make sure that we were both satisfied. I would highly recommend this community.

I had a fabulous experience ............I was searching online for HELP with a friend. Within 12 hours, I received a return phone call in regard to my online request. I was contacted by two different facilities the next morning and began the process to get my friend moved in to one of the facilities. I am a believer of faith and this was an answered prayer. They were on top of making contact with me and displayed care for my friend. I highly recommend to all who are looking for help with someone needing more care than they are currently receiving.

Tour was comprehensive and comforting. [Removed] was knowledgeable, compassionate and also moved rapidly get a nurse's to assess my mom's readiness. The building is being added on to and older sections refurbished so it looks like new in most areas. The handicap accessible bathrooms were especially nicely done. We also ate lunch there as part of the tour and it was good.

When I came to visit the community I noticed as you walked right through the door you are open to the activities. The staff helped me see what they offer and had a small visit with the chef talking about diet needs. It was just a different atmosphere and the one unit community that was not fitting our needs.

The Brookdale Lakewood was a great choice because the staff is very friendly and helpful. When we were touring communities, all of them were just interested in money, but this one genuinely cared about my mother and made the process very easy. The place is kept very clean and is well maintained. On Sunday, the staff cooked thanksgiving dinner for everyone it was very nice.
