Brookdale

We absolutely love this community! My sister and I live out of state with no other family to care for my mom. We were at wits end as what to do about our mom. My sister worked closely with Athena and moved my mom into the facility within days! Athena went above the call of duty to help my mother and in doing so has been an answer to prayer, an earthly angel, for my sister and I. Words fail to express the thankfulness we have for all Athena has done to help us all through an extremely difficult time. She is a valuable asset to the company and we are extremely grateful she was here to help our family.

The community was very clean and the staff were very compassionate and helpful. Beautiful landscaping.

They are doing a wonderful job in taking care of my husband. I am very grateful, it is a load off my mind and I am comfortable knowing he is in good hands. I like the facility itself as well, it is well maintained and a good location. I couldn't be more pleased. The meals are good, in fact, he is looking much better now because I couldn't get him to eat or anything but now he is eating a lot, he is clean they're doing exercises with him.

I would highly recommend this community to families for the great care that my father is getting here with the wonderful staff members. You feel like your at home with the good homie feeling. This community is clean and well taken care of. They offer great meals and a great variety. My fathers have been active in all the activities and enjoy them. My father has made great progress here due to the outstanding care. We would highly recommend this community to other families.

I went through a lot of different places and this is the best that I have ever seen. They are doing a great job with taking care of my mother. They have a really nice and clean community as well. They do give things for mom to do.

When we were here for a tour the experience with getting information, pricing, and assessment went well. My father-in-law needed more care and they could not take him.

My friend is doing very well since his move to this community. Everything has worked out very well. I'am pleased with his move to this community. He is safe and being cared for well. This is a good community with kind people.

I am very happy with the care at this community The staff are very friendly and caring. This commuity is very clean. They have great activities that are enjoyed. The meals are very good and a nice variety. I have recommended others to this community for the value and care that is received.

The Brookdale has proven to be a great move for my friend. The place is very nice and comfortable feeling. She has joined a lot of activities such as bingo and is really enjoying herself. The only problem we have had so far is in the beginning, they have a buddy system to help the new residents become acclimated, and the man that assigned himself to my friend made a rude comment. I do like the fact, though, that they have something like that system to help new residents.

I am happy with the care that my mother is getting here. The staff is always making sure that she is taken care of with her needs. She is very pleased with the staff who are always friendly. The community is very clean. She is liking the activities with the other residents. I would recommend the care to other families with a good value for a loved one.

My sister and I live in PA while our mother lives in Florida. The family member she had been living with passed away. Her grief affected her ability to take care of herself and due to our own illnesses and financial circumstances getting her the help she needed was difficult, to say the least. Thanks to the staff at Brookdale Paddock Hills in Ocala, in particular their sales manager - [Removed], all our concerns were resolved within 3 days. This was after 2 1/2 years of hitting brick walls ( Ex: We would order home help for our mother, which she asked us to do, but when they showed up she would cancel the service). Our mom was hospitalized, then we were suddenly given notice that she was to be discharged soon and would need help. Thanks to [Removed] at A Place for Mom and Brookdale/Athena our Mom was moved to a very nice studio Apt in their ALS unit. Their services and care have been excellent and at a reasonable price. We were able to set everything up via the internet, fax, & phone. Our mom loves it there!

My mother has been living at the Gardens. She is so happy there. The staff is friendly and caring. Great Food and lots of social activities. The location is great. In the residential part of Santa Monica with a big parking garage. Safe neighborhood to go for walks. One block to the beach and close to all the action if you want it.

I liked this community The staff was nice and answered my questions on the care given. It appeared to have alot of nice activities. I liked that they were caring and helpful to my needs. It is a community that is very clean and taken care of. I recommend families to tour this community for the care and value.

I am verry happy with the community. My mom is is great care with the wonderful staff. This has a apartment feel here. You know that it is a community. My mom is really enjoying great variety of meals. The activities are great for her and she likes the movie nights and being able to talk with others at meal time. I wouldrecommend this community also for the size of the rooms and the patio with a great view to enjoy.

The staff are wonderful, encouraging and attentive. This is a smaller community that is easy to get in and out of. They offer a variety of daily activities and the community is clean. The food is great and they have a variety of choices. I would recommend this community.

I like the feeling that I am getting for the care that my mom is receiving here. The community is clean and always taken care of. The staff shows alot of care and concern for the residents. My mom is liking the activities that are offered. the food seems to appealing with a good variety. I would recommend this because they make you feel like they care about the needs of my mom and the good value.

I placed my mom at Brookdale McPherson in November. The staff have been friendly and the food is good. My mom loves that fact they go on outtings and she gets to interact with people she has known in the community over the years. The nursing staff is friendly and she has been very well cared for since her move. Our experience has been very positive.

This is a nice community. We liked the tour and the staff were very nice and were able to answer the questions on the services provided. They offered good activities for residents wanting to participate. The vareiety of meals seemed appealing. the community was nice and clean. I would recommend this community.

The staff is alert & friendly. Structure maintenance is addressed as soon as requested. The Food is excellent! Lots of activities to participate in. The views of Anaheim Hills are incredible. & The location is wonderfully close to my home.

We have been very pleased with this community. They are very good and my step dad is enjoying it. They do offer plenty of activities. The community is always clean ans neat and we liked that they were a big community. He also enjoys the food.
