Brookdale

We enjoyed our visit. Lunch was good, the place is clean and the staff was attentive. You can tell they truly care to make a difference. Felt much like home. We highly recommend!

My brother likes the place a lot. My other brother is there now and they both like the food that they provide in the dining area. It’s really good and the menu changes daily. Both of my brothers are totally happy with it. The staff alone I would rate them a five star team. They also do a good job with their cleanliness. They provided plenty of activities however since the majority of the residents are women it is more specially tailored to them. There are about 3-4 men at most and they all seem to get along fine. Overall I would recommend this location to other families looking for somewhere for their loved one.

My mother has been here for a short amount of time but both her and myself are happy with it. I haven’t met a staff member that I do not like they all seem very friendly and helpful. My brother and I had a Thanksgiving dinner with her last week and they food seems to be very good. Every month residents receive a newsletter with activities that are being provided that they can participate in. The staff also helps residents that try to organize certain met up groups of their own with similar interests. The staff as well as the residents seems very pleasant and I would recommend this location to families that are looking for a place for their loved ones.

I had a thorough and pleasant tour this weekend at Brookdale. All my questions were answered. I think Brookdale would be a great place for my dad and would meet his needs!

Very homey. Staff was caring and interacted well with the residents. Facility was very clean and decorated well. Staff answered all of our questions and also gave us information we hadn’t thought to ask about.

I visited the facility when I was looking for a place for mom. [Name removed] was very helpful and understood my concerns. I did select another facility which had memory care.

We loved the spacious living areas and the cost effective rates. The staff and residents were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was going fine when my mom was there. Everyone that works there has been very professional. My experience with them has been great but my mom just needs to be in a memory care unit which is something that they don’t provide. The staff really feels like family and I don’t think I have anything bad to say about them. My mom thought the facility was so beautiful; she would always talk about how it must be more expensive because of how fancy it is. The facility itself has a lock down unit, meaning she couldn’t just walk out the door if she wanted to so that added some security and peace of mind for us because she was prone to just leaving and getting lost. There were a few times when she wouldn’t eat and the cook took the time to actually make her private breakfasts just to make sure she would eat. Everything was kept clean and it didn’t have a bad smell or anything like that, it was very nice. I would definitely recommend them.

Brookdale East Tucson has been an excellent experience so far. The staff are all extremely friendly, kind, patient, and responsive to the residents. The facility is clean, the meals are varied and sound delicious, there are a lot of activities going on each day for the residents, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this community to others.

They've taken really good care of my mom she needed some rehab and some breathing treatments that they have helped her with. They engage her to come out of her room. They are so kind and patient. I like that they offer an education class for people with dementia for the family. It is as clean as it can be with dementia residents but my moms room is always clean and has no smell. They have a secured courtyard area and they have a house cat and a house dog for everyone to enjoy. It has 2 common area with T.V.s in it. There is a specified room for family gatherings if needed. There are wonderful daily activities like bingo and they will set her up at the computer so she can see what is going on in here hometown and other games too. I would recommend this community.

The most comprehensive and kindly given care around. We researched carefully before bringing our father here. It has proven to be completely true. We are so grateful.The family can all catch our breath finally. Thank you for caring so tenderly for our dad. He loves it here and we all feel so welcomed. Great communication, meals, activities and a beautiful environment.

This place is cozy and there are only 45 residents. I like the apartments because they are 2 rooms, bedroom and parlor with a kitchenette. The rooms on the inside perimeter each have a door to their own terrace in a central garden. The dining room has menus with 3 choices for each meal and the assistants are the servers. Plenty of different activities as well as monthly "Town Hall" meetings for the residents to discuss if there are4 any issues to be addressed.

Brookdale is absolutely wonderful. The staff is excellent. You asked them something, they give you a great answer and if they don't know, they call up someone who can help. The food is very good there. They just had a branch for the Thanksgiving holiday that was wonderful. Thy have activities going on every afternoon such as sing-alongs, live music, and games. It's also very clean here. They are always cleaning. This community is excellent, I'd definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend this facility to other families looking for a location for their loved ones. The staff team held my hand and took the time to go through everything with me. They have an Alzheimer’s support group, plenty of activities, and a nice dining area. From what I have seen they have a variety of choices. For the activities the staff takes their resident’s to random outings like movies and restaurants. They also offer transportation services for those wanting a ride to their doctor’s appointments.

I toured this community and it was nice and clean. It was well kept up. The person doing the tour was helpful and answered my questions. But we decided to go with another community.

Brookdale Broadmoor has been excellent. My mother is receiving great care, and they're really helping her so much. The staff has been great, my mother is raving about the food, and the place is very clean and well-maintained. They have a lot of activities as well such as live music, movies, and games. It's not the cheapest, but it has what my mother needs, so I feel it is worth it.

My mom lives here and everything is going good so far. She seemed to adjust really fast, too. This was the first place we toured and we just fell in love. My mom likes it and she seems content and happy, which makes me happy. The staff is easy to communicate with, they’re really good if I have any questions or concerns and they listen to me and take care of whatever is going on. I ate one meal with her before she actually moved in and it was okay. I did go to this meal that they held where families could come and eat with the residents. The food was good with that. She tells me that some of the food is good and some of it isn’t so I guess it’s hit or miss. The facility is really good cleanliness wise, it looks nice and clean and smells good. My mom’s room is always nice and clean. They take her laundry and do that, empty her garbage daily, and housekeeping will come by and vacuum once a week. It always looks clean when I go in there. The community offers tons of activities like crafts, manicures, and church services. She’s really getting out and mingling and doing a lot of things that she wouldn’t be able to if she were still at home. She gets help with her medications, which is an extra charge, but everything else has been included in the monthly price, however I think their prices are dependent on the level of care needed.
