Brookdale

The caregivers here are good and cautious and will call me before they make any decisions. The only thing we have had an issue with is the pricing they told us one price and it was much more when she moved in but said they would reevaluate her in January and I hope it changes. They have restaurant style food with a lot of variety. Housekeeping does a good job keeping it clean. They engage her to join the daily activities. And they have a salon here to do her hair. Her studio apartment overlooks the courtyard. I would recommend this community.

This Brookdale community is more like a big family. All of the workers whether in nursing or kitchen interact with the residents on a first name basis and strive to help them live the best life possible. Lots of activities and great homemade meals!

I lived at Brookdale Port Charlotte for A number of years. I miss everyone terribly. I’m grateful for everything they have done for me and my family. The care that I received really was the best when I had given up on myself, they refused to allow me to give up. I am doing better today only because of that stuff. I ate meals every day as did my family, on occasion. The chef gives us choices, and you never go away hungry. Rarely did I ever eat a meal I didn’t like There’s always something to do, and they are great about involving everybody and discovering what your passion is. Nothing in life is ever perfect. Anytime myself or my family have had obstacles, the management team fixed it promptly and we never had that issue again. That is something that always impressed me. I hate to be a bother. They actively solicited my input and always genuinely care if I was happy or needed anything I owe a lot to these wonderful people. I’m living in another state now, in the community is nice but I miss brookdale and I do miss my family. I would always tell families who came to visit our community how good my experience has been because it’s important the families know that their mom or dad will be well taken care of and will not just be institutionalized. We visited Brookdale Port Charlotte a few times over the course of this year. We also had dinner and lunch on different occasions, and attended a party. We liked the fact that residents, and my husband and I were able to order what we wanted to eat. On one occasion my husband changed his mind and they were very hospitable and made him what he wanted. The residents we spoke to all said that they enjoyed living there and they have a voice in all things, even food and outings. The place is clean and well kept. My daughter and grand kids like the place as well. They too thought the food was good. I read a comment about portions and dry food. None of us experienced that, not did the residents we spoke to seem to experience that. We tasted the food at other places and they weren’t that good, but then Again the communities are more about care and attention. But Brookdale checked all the boxes. Their sales manager has been a joy to work with. No pressure like others we have worked with. We will be maki g this move next year and Brookdale is our pick.

The staff from every corner of the building at Brookdale Bellevue are professional and caring. They work hard and truly give of themselves to each resident! The family they provide for mom and dad when we are only there in spirit some days helps to make the our world a better place!

This property is fantastic and I absolutely love it. Everyone is wonderful, the staff is great, the food is great, I just couldn’t be happier. From the other places that I have been into, this one by far exceeds what we had initially thought. [Removed], the woman that we had met and toured with and dealt with after we moved in is absolutely great. What I really like is the community aspect. They provided activities and they have accessibility to their dining hall. How everything was laid out it felt like you are eating your meals at home and not an actual facility. It’s like a big family. The place’s cleanliness is very good as well. I absolutely recommend this community to others.

I moved in to Brookdale Grants Pass Springs, and I feel that they have done a great job so far. I definitely appreciate the location and the convenience of the community as well as the services they provide. The food is really good here, and I feel I'm getting a lot of nutrition. They have a full schedule of activities here to keep everyone busy, and the community is very clean and well-maintained. I've had a really good experience here, and I'd recommend Brookdale to others.

While looking at different properties for my father, this property seemed like a nice place. We didn’t care so much for the rooms however. The set up wasn’t necessarily to our liking. They cost a little more as well compared to other places, but that’s just because they offer more care services. Since this wasn’t necessary for my father, we didn’t move forward with them. But overall, it is a nice place.

I had looked at this location a couple of years ago as we were still trying to have my love one at home as long as possible. From what I observed the staff team was great. I remember to talking with a few associates and they were awesome. The facility itself is nice and small which I like. From what I remember I don’t recall if they actually have a designated area for residents with memory conditions such as Alzheimer’s or Dementia. However there are residents experiencing those conditions.

Everything is going really well as my father is here. The staff team is very informative, they keep me up to date with everything, and very responsive. My father has a tendency to fall frequently before so the staff comes in and checks on him every hour just to make sure that he’s ok. Especially at night if he were to use the bathroom because he doesn’t use his walker. If he were to fall they will call me immediately and tell me if a nurse was able to look at him, if he had to go to the emergency room, and things like that. I rate them a 5 between everyone being attentive, communicative, letting me know what’s going on, and being cooperative. This facility has a memory ward as well so it was a good fit. I absolutely recommend this location, it’s great.

This place is amazing! I was impressed with the privacy of the semi private rooms and the size of the private rooms. And this was in their memory care facility. All the people staying there were smiling, talking to each other or active in an activity. I will place my love one here.

Brookdale is a very nice place and the staff team there does everything they can to make my love one comfortable. When I first toured the community I really liked the staff when I was talking with them. This property seemed like a better fit. One of the reasons why we moved forward with this community is because of my love one. She really likes nice things and this place just looks like a resort. There are big open areas, they have rooms that have two stories, windows on the room, they have a fire place, nice dining room, and it is painted well. It is a newer facility and quite beautiful. At first my love one had difficulty adjusting. There was one day that I visited her and she had a smile on her face. I didn’t hear anything negative that day, which never happens. She told me that the staff makes her feel good, when I’m there they say nice things to her, and everyone has been very pleasant. With everything I have observed I recommend Brookdale.

Moved my mom in this year and are very happy with that decision. She’s doing better than expected and mgmt does a great job of keeping us update on her progress, sends pictures and feedback. We don’t live in Florida, and they don’t have to do any of this. We are grateful for the entire staff. Mom loves the food and activities and has gained a family. They take real good care of her. Thank you.

We really loved this place as soon as we stepped in the front door. It was warm, welcoming and it smelled good, just like a house should smell during Christmas time. [Removed] was wonderful to work with. Really hoping that my mother loves it after she moves in. I have a feeling she will.

I ended up picking this facility because they are affordable for the care I need. I am happy here and the food is better than other places I have lived in. They do have a lot of activities including exercise groups, music entertainment, and a bus that takes you various places around town during the week. The staff here is very nice and they treat me very well. In comparison, this facility is on par with other places. I would recommend this community to other families.

Eagan all I can say it's been life saver and blessing, [Removed] have helped me so much to take a burden off my shoulders. From the first visited there and seen how nice it was and that they were willing to come to my house to meet [Removed] and welcome us and help us get started to move in. Everybody there has been so nice to us, I just love it there and I know [Removed] is get the best care possible [Removed] are Angel's.

I toured this facility when looking for a place for my Mom. It’s a wonderful place. The team that I spoke with really made me feel like my Mom would be the most important person there. They were kind of set apart from downtown, though, which is where my Mother wanted to be. The residents there looked like they might’ve needed more assistance than my Mom did as well. There were plenty of activities for them to take part in, but the highlight of the day seemed to be sitting in front of the TV. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place and I’m sure it’d be great for others but it wasn’t the right place for our needs.

The place and personnel are very nice. I liked it a lot. It may not be perfectly suitable for my wife but I liked it very much.
