Brookdale

I’ve been at Brookdale at Tamarac Square for 8 months now and I am so glad I chose this senior housing option. The executive director made me feel very welcome and valued when I first met with her and toured the facility. The residents were all friendly and happy. The lunch I was offered was delicious, which sold me on the meal plan. I’ve been very happy with the choice I made. The staff is very caring and pleasant. The chef here is wonderful and the meals are delicious. They have been very welcoming to my dog. Brookdale at Tamarac Square has been a tremendous value for the price.

I have never been in such a community where the residents are treated with so much love and respect as this one! [Name removed] and [Name removed] are absolutely perfect at their jobs! They create a caring community and keep the residents mentally and physically stimulated. Their love for the residents shows by their sweet interactions with each resident , and their enthusiasm to make every day meaningful and fun is contagious. This place gives personal attention to each resident. [Name removed] and [Name removed] are extraordinary at making this a happy place where everyone cares for each other and enjoys each day. They schedule fun events that allow for positive interaction among the residents. What a welcoming, friendly and happy community!

“A Home of Her Own” is how we would describe my mother’s beautiful apartment at Brookdale Southside. Our Mother was not happy living at our house and it was no longer safe for her to live in her private home. Enter Brookdale...... From the moment we entered the Brookdale lobby, to the walk down the hall to see the prospective apartment- Mother knew and we knew, that she had found “home”! Mother is a very quiet and private person. Her family, which is quite large, is all she seems to need to be happy. She does not avail herself of all the wonderful activities and events, instead choosing to stay “home” most of the time, enjoying her patio gardening and family time. And you know what? That’s ok. She is 88 years old. And it’s ok. The Brookdale staff is very caring and truly tries to accommodate all of the various wants and needs of their residents. Our family is so grateful to the Brookdale family for providing a wonderful, safe home for our mother.

The staff is very friendly and they have a lot of activities. They take them places to do stuff and see a lot of things.

My father loves the food in the restaurant and has been treated exceptionally well by all staff.

Brookdale in. Shreveport was great and my brother only went through a month of respite until his wife recovered from cancer surgery. She moved back home and brother [name removed] moved into a memory care unit near their home in AR. Thank you for your help.

Brookdale Claremore is a beautiful facility with the most loving and caring staff that we could’ve asked for. Moms in the memory-care division where they know exactly what to do for her. She’s happy there and we are very pleased.

Brookdale was the right place at the right moment for my parents who lived independently into their 90s. They recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary in safety and comfort in their new small Durham apartment.

We have been pleased with Brookdale Falling Creek. It is clean, quiet, and the staff friendly. Our mother is doing well and seems to be content in her new surroundings.

We are very pleased overall with Mom's new home. The caregivers are all friendly, professional and respectful, the facility is clean and Mom feels safe. For a while there this summer there seemed to be a problem with having adequate staff, especially in the dining room, but we could really see them making an effort to correct the problem and it has steadily improved which shows us that they are not satisfied with providing just minimal care; they want to make their residents as comfortable as possible. We have no complaints and neither does Mom which is most important. It was a very timely move for her and being around people everyday has really improved her overall well-being. Brookdale is also very good about communicating with us and keeping us informed about anything we need to know. Our whole family would recommend Brookdale North Euclid for anyone worried about finding a good place for their loved one.

Although mom is 92 she is relatively healthy & performs her personal needs. Brookdale College Parkway offers spacious apartments in an independent living environment. Mom did not want to move out of my home but after 15 years it was time. My husband & I took her to visit assisted living facilities and she always found something she didn't like. We both liked the look and feel of this community. Mom was still reluctant to move out but she is doing fine now. She even seems to be having fun. I am comfortable with her living there when we travel knowing she is safe and in a caring environment.

My mom is very happy here. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful with whatever mom needs. The stress is off my shoulders and communication with everyone there is so easy, day or night. The security, cost, her happiness and nursing care are my must-haves, and I'm completely satisfied with all areas. There is no doubt, mom is in great hands and happy.

My sister loves it at Brookdale, Deland. The staff is fantastic. Everything is always clean, the residents all seem happy . We are very pleased.

Friendly and very helpful

We are extremely pleased with Brookdale Corona. Our sister left another prominent care home where she was usually depressed, angry, and not well cared for, and spent her days in boredom. Since she has moved to Brookdale Corona, she is always bright and cheerful, well groomed, entertained with mental as well as physical activities, and so many friends, Her attitude and health has taken a wonderful turn for the better. We love the caring staff who always greet us and tell us how our loved one is doing. And we were captivated by the beautiful environment, with multiple indoor activity rooms where families and/or residents can convene, and a beautiful large secured outdoor area that encourages walking, relaxing, and visiting. Can't say enough good things about this residence.

Could not have made a better choice.

My grandmother was in independent living but I had to move her to Brookdale Loma Linda because she needed more care than she was getting. My family and I have been happy with the services that she receives. She’s in a wheelchair and needs help with toileting, bathing, getting to the dining room and back, and medication. I take her to all her medical appointments. They have lots of activities at Brookdale for the residents and everyone is very friendly. I am unsure about her current monthly payments because my mother is in charge of that .

We are enjoying our tidy cottage. It is well maintained and feels like home. the dining experience is worthy, and it offers an excellent time to meet with friends and acquaintances. Our family has joined us here for meals and brunches often. And, best of all is the opportunity to enjoy outside activities. The luncheon dates, museum tours, jazz concerts and theater opportunities are great. Most of all, I appreciate the constant willingness of the management to listen to needs and suggestions.

Brookdale Vista is a wonderful community for people in need of daily assistance. The management and staff are friendly and ready to help with residents needs. Our mom recently transferred to the BrookDale Plumas facility. The level of care provided is a better fit for her current needs. We are equally happy with the facility on Plumas. I’m happy to recommend Brookdale to anyone in need of assisted living services.

Everything about Brookdale Watauga is top shelf. Staff, apartment, dining, and staff attention to detail are all excellent. It was Dad’s decision, at age 99 and still very active and alert, to select his new home. Transitions at this time in life can be awkward and Dad has certainly been challenged, but everyone at Brookdale has gone up and above to make sure each day is enjoyable and comfortable.
