Brookdale

My mother absolutely loves it there, she just loves the staff members and the care takers there. The activities have starting to pick back up again, for Memorial Day we were able to cook out and have a picnic. They play bingo, the activities have been wonderful in that respect so we have been very pleased with everything. She loves the desserts, and sometimes if she does not like what they are serving they will make her something else so they are very accommodating.

I've lived at Brookdale Tamarace Square for 3 years and the people are very nice, they take good care of me and I like the activities.

I have lived at Brookdale Tamarac Square for almost 12 years under several different Brookdale administrations and several different executive directors. I can say that this administration and director are the best, even with the pandemic. The pandemic was handled beautifully by all.

I've been living at this Brookdale community for two and a half years so far. I find the residents to be very friendly, the staff is exceptional, the cook is masterful and provides a great variety of delicious meals. There are plenty of activities for one to engage in if you so desire. It's a great value for for the amount I am paying. I could not be more pleased!!!

Our family is incredibly happy with Brookdale Tamarac. My mother has a special set of needs and the staff works with us to adapt as her needs change. [name removed] and her staff go out of their way to make sure every resident is treated like family. The staff has made it a point to know my mother and all her habits. They handled the pandemic with grace and got the residents immunized efficiently as soon as vaccine was available. You'd be hard pressed to find a more patient bunch. I would happily recommend Brookdale to anyone in need of a safe place for their loved one.

Thus is the best home for me. The director always keep excellent communication by keeping everyone updated on what is happening on a daily basis. There are activities for everyone. With all that occurred during the pandemic we are now working to get back to "normal". It is just very comfortable and all is so friendly and helpful.

My parents needed to move to an Independent Living facility ASAP during the Covid pandemic. Brookdale Tamarac Square has exceeded all of our expectations. My parents have never been healthier, even throughout the pandemic. The every day stress has been minimized due to the excellent staff and services provided.

My father has been living at Brookdale Tamarac for over five years and we couldn’t be happier with the care and service.[names removed] and everyone do such an amazing job. My father is 92 now and does not need extra medical care but we are confident that when he does we will have no problem getting it for him. My father’s personality is unique and the staff completely understand him and truly cares for him. Also during Covid I can’t express enough gratitude for the outstanding job done by all.

I was referred to Brookdale at Tamarac Square by A Place For Mom. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. I’ve been here 3+ years and I’ve never regretted my choice for even a day. Everyone was so warm and welcoming to me as soon as I walked in, both staff and residents. I toured 4 different communities and knew right away that this was it. The staff genuinely care about us and every one of them show it every day. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have Chef [name removed]-the meals are wonderful. [name removed] , our director, is so kind and caring. The staff kept us safe and well cared for during the Covid pandemic. Obviously I would have liked to stay in my own home but since I couldn’t this is the best alternative I could imagine.

For now his personality is shall we say, unique. But the staff understands him completely and are really great in interacting and caring for him. Also during COVID, the facility did a simply amazing job in taking care of every detail and I can’t thank them enough for the excellent work.

The staff really care about the residents. They take extra time to get to know them and make them feel comfortable. They go out of of their way to make sure people feel like they're part of a community rather than just an assisted living facility. Overall the staff has been great. There were a couple of instances where the staff was short with a family member, but I think that had more to do with Covid and making sure everybody is following all the rules. I don't know if this is related to Covid, but they were so helpful getting everything moved in. They had it already set up like it was her apartment, with the furniture already arranged and her clothes put away. This was a tough transition for my loved one and she was on the fence about her decision, but she came in and saw all of her things already unpacked and set up and felt so much better. That was huge for us, and we were so grateful for that service. It's very home-like. They take care of the place like it's their home. They come in and do housekeeping for my loved one, and it's always been great every time I've visited. Coming in and walking through the entryways and the hallways, everything is very homelike and clean. My loved one says the food is very good. It tastes good, and they're willing to work with whatever her interests and likes are. They also offer a good variety.

[name removed] and team have been so very helpful. My Mom lives at Brookdale Tamarac and they are tremendously helpful to both my Mom and myself. Their handling of the COVID virus was stellar. [name removed] is always available to help make life easier. Love these people.

Our loved one really seems to be enjoying the meals they are serving, and sometimes he will has special requests like salads or fresh fruits and they will bring it to him with no issues. The activities are opening back up, they have concerts on their property on Saturday's that families can come to. They serve, wine, soft drinks, water and snacks. We have not had any serious issues and even if we have a small issue it is fixed right away. During the lock down because of the location of the facility, it is right next to a very large park that has tons of benches, so we could call at any time any day and take our lvoed one out to the park which was huge,

When we are able to visit the community it is very clean and just lovely. Our loved one has never experience anything negative there, we are very happy with our decision. The staff team is very attentive, caring and pleasant to work with. Our loved one is kind of on a funky diet, but she still says the food is very good and the staff have been able to be really attentive and accommodating to her diet and keeping up with it. Before coming to this community, our loved one was very closed off and almost like a recluse, however since coming to Brookdale she has never experience so much stimulation, she is constantly being exposed to so much creativity.

They went above and beyond to take care of our loved one for us. The staff, services, and care are excellent. I have no complaints about this community. They meet every need for your loved one and family.

The staff members are very attentive, and they offer a lot of services that are convenient for our family. The activities are opening back up so everyday it is getting better an better. Most of the time our loved one enjoys the meals they are serving. The grounds are just absolutely gorgeous, it is surrounding be grass and greenery tucked back into the partial wooded area. Our loved one has a perfect studio that is very spacious.

We toured Brookdale and it was a very lovely place. The staff members were all nice and the facility itself was beautiful. We looked at the rooms on the assisted living side and they were nice and roomy, they even had a space for a little 2 seated kitchen table. The location was the issue for us.

It is a nice and friendly place. The staff has always been informative and friendly to the family. My ratings and feedback are only based on a short amount of time that my loved one has been here.

Brookdale Conway is a great place and you should check into it. The staff cares about the residents and this stands out to me. The food is enjoyed by our loved one. The pricing can be confusing and billing seems off. We received a bill that was higher and we are still waiting on an explanation.

All of the staff from nurses to activities are responsible, caring people. My parents are happy with their care.
