Brookdale

Our loved one is really enjoying the meals, however if you are diabetic or have any restrictions it would probably not be the best for you. The food is a little to enjoyable. He is enjoying the activities they are offering, but for us we wish there was a little more. They are trying to bring them back slowly so they are still not doing any outside visits, or bringing in live entertainment. The basic value price is not bad, but if you need more care it does get pricey.

The staff from top to bottom have been very kind and supportive. Communication between the staff and our family is very good. they keep us well informed and up to date. They have started in-person visits also. They have been very helpful with our long-term care insurance. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

I love my home at Brookdale. Everyone is very nice and they work hard to make us happy and are willing to go out of their way for us. We love the new chef and I feel safe because I see how well they take care of everyone living here. My apartment has a great view and getting around is easier for me because it is one floor. The shuttle driver is always Accommodating to.

My mom has had a great experience here. Their friendliness has been incredible. I've met a number of residents, and the residents are always out and about interacting with each other, which has been terrific. We looked at other places, and we were impressed with Brookdale's outdoor spaces. My mom is still really active, and they have walking areas and a dog park, both of which she utilizes, so that's been a real positive for her. They come in and clean the apartments once a week, which has been wonderful. And her apartment looks kept very well. They have a variety of floor plans. Hers is a 2-bedroom with a den, so it's spacious. Overall, it's one of the older communities we looked at, and you can tell that in the décor and celling heights, but it's a nice floor plan with a lot of storage. We also liked that it's a full kitchen, not huge, but it's not part of the main living space. It's open to where you can see the living room, but it's not IN the living room. They have a move coordinator who helped my mom move in, which was a really nice service that they offer. That would be especially nice for residents without family to provide that physical support. They helped her unpack and hang pictures. It was incredible.

My mom had a good experience with Brookdale Monrovia. Her independence deteriorated so she ended up needing more care than they were able to provide, so we did have to end up moving her out. Overall they did an excellent job and were very good while she was here. I would highly recommend to others looking.

We chose Brookdale Utica because they were willing to accept my father in his condition and also the location was close to me. My father has been pleased with the care that he is receiving from the staff members, they are very gentle with him. They could use some improvement with their communication to families. I would recommend to others who are looking.

[name removed] spent a lot of time finding out about [name removed]. Focused on her and her needs. The facility is well managed and maintained. The staff was actively working amongst the residents doing activities and helping.

The tours were super at both the Danforth and the Sante Fe locations. The Sante Fe location had a wonderful studio with a courtyard entrance. This facility was close to what my mom needed. From what I saw, I would recommend checking these two communities out!

I like their willingness to work with my loved one. I like the fact that when she was in distress, they came to me and let me know their care plan. At one point, she was a little overmedicated, and they were in contact with me about that and how they were changing her meds. I think they're trying to find a good solution and a good place for her to be medication-wise. And they keep her busy. I know she's participating in activities - I'll be on the phone with her, and she hangs up the phone because they come in to get her.

We chose Brookdale Redmond because they had availability during covid and the location was good for family as well. We have briefly gone into moms room and it seems adequate. What sticks out to us is that they seem to have a far better understanding of dementia rather than some other places that she has been. She seems to be doing better here and I would recommend them.

Our families experience so far has been great. Our loved raves about the food, she absolutely loves it she talks about it all the time. The activities are fully open, they have quite a bit to offer the residents. Our mother is treated with compassion and kindness. We would recommend Brookdale community, we are confident our mother is safe and well cared for.

Covid did impact the meal services but the feedback we have heard from our loved one is that the food is overall good, and the activities have opened back up. The community is in a downtown setting in Brighton, it is independent living so they are more open to letting people come and going. Another bonus is that it is in walking distance of the senior center.

Brookdale East Arbor is safe and comfortable for residents in the in between stage of Assisted living and some memory issues. COVID free throughout the pandemic, they followed cdc guidelines while continuing to provide residents with a positive, fun experience. Electric scooter, pet and outdoor smoking is permitted. Well done Brookdale East Arbor.

So far our families experience has been great, and they do have some activities going on right now for the residents to participate in. Our loved one is a picky and difficult eater, but the weekday meals were very good, but the weekend meals were not to be desired. What really stood out to us was the atmosphere, it was very welcoming. We would recommend Brookdale Colonial Park to others, we are very pleased with the place.

We choose Brookdale Concord Parkway because they were the only ones in the area that would go into medicaid once her funds ran out so she can stay here. The room sizes here are excellent. The staff members are really very attentive with their residents, if something goes wrong they seem to handle everything perfectly. They make sure to call you and follow up. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

Looked at six communities And this one stood out more with each visit. Every step with grace and focus on my loved one. We’re so happy with our decision. This team has been all in and we could not have done this without their sales director’s passion and dedication to her position. Brookdale is very lucky to have her representing their community, as is our family.

The friendliness of the staff members and the care services have been wonderful, and they do a very good job communicating with our family. We can assume the meals are good, our loved one has not complained. The activities are still pretty limited because of the covid restrictions, but we would still recommend the Brookdale Mariana community to others.

This facility was extremely nice. The staff was friendly and informative.

Our tour at Brookdale Ormond Beach West was a video tour, so it was harder to get a feel for the community. But it looked very nice. The building was bright and nicely kept. The people I interacted with on the tour were excellent. We ended up going to a different Brookdale that was nearer and less expensive.

I'm very happy overall. If there's anything I think they could do more of it would be activities. But I know they're limited in what they can do with the pandemic. I get the impression that the people who work there work a lot of hours, and they could do with more staff. But overall I'm very happy. They've been excellent with communication. They treat both my loved one and myself very well. They're very friendly.
