Brookdale

First place I looked at. Love this place right away. I love the size and the price of the room. Executive director always honest and supportive about facility. Caregivers are always at their jobs. Ready to help me out when I need it. I have a dog and they take her out for walks in the courtyard for exercise. I enjoy mixing and mingling with others.

Brookdale is a safe, social, happy home for seniors!

Great! Excellent care! All the caregivers and servers do their jobs with a smile. My room is always clean, my laundry is always neat away, and hung in my closet. I don't participate in activities but enjoy watching others and hearing all the positive talk about the activities they just did.

We are very happy here during our loved one's stay. We were extremely happy with them overall, and would recommend them to others. The people are friendly and professionally stand out for me. The staff try hard.

Make sure you prepare for your tour and try to make a list of questions and don't be afraid to do your research its overwhelming but being prepared is very important. The staff is very friendly and take good care of my loved one. They have lots of activities and I would recommend this community to others.

Loved the community and plan on signing a lease, if everything works out! I feel this is the right place for us! Definitely a 4 Star rating from us!!

After contacting A Place for Mom, [name removed] was my first point of contact into exploring senior living communities. I’m so grateful that he was as after speaking with him, I felt a much needed sense of hope. [name removed] provided exceptional service and support. He was available, responsive and truly caring. Our family was impressed with the team approach at Brookdale Beckett Meadows and that the Executive Director personally reached out to us for reassurance and to make sure our needs were met.

The whole staff is very friendly and caring. I've been able to meet the staff on all different shifts and they are all super! There are choices for food, and sometimes the staff will try to accommodate the requests of the residents if they don't like what is being served.

We toured during Covid, which made it difficult no matter where you went. I liked the location. It was very close to us. I was not as crazy about the apartments - I wanted a small kitchen, but theirs had a refrigerator that was almost the size of a microwave. It was too small. But if you’re never in the kitchen doing stuff, it’s perfectly fine. It just depends on your needs and preferences. This one was a little pricier too. But they did a good job with the tour itself. They were accommodating, and they did the best they could with it under the circumstances.

We toured during Covid, which made it difficult no matter where you went. This one was not far from us, but it was older, and very expensive. It had memory care, which was nice if you need that transition down the road. On the tour, they were very accommodating. They let us come in and did some video Facetime of the rooms. They did the best they could under the circumstances.

We chose Brookdale Asheville because I had been in conversation with them about a year and a half. They were very consciousnesses and remembered things about our conversation and they kept in contact even when she was not a resident here yet. The staff were always very good with communication, we could call whenever we wanted and they were very personable. The meals are chef prepared meals and he tries to modify the diets by what the residents needs are. I would tell others it is definitely worth a visit, they truly care about their residents and are very personal and caring that doesn't always exist at other places. They treated my mom as if she was the only one and I saw that same treatment in other residents as well.

Brookdale has been wonderful, the community is very clean and the staff members are extremely friendly. The activities are starting back up, for awhile there was nothing but now they are taking the residents out for ice cream, they have social hour, bingo and church services. The staff have been really helpful with medication distribution for our loved one and helpful with refills. They also have an in house doctor which our loved one is set up with.

The tour was good and the community offers a good value for the money. The facility is neat, clean, and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and very nice and they have lots of activities going on for the residence. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We chose Brookdale Hollywood Park because the sales person who helped me was super accommodating. He was great to work with and always went above and beyond for our family. They also worked with us on the price. He is in a 2 person room but it is just him so he has plenty of space for what he needs. I haven't seen much because when I do go to visit I am only allowed to go straight to his room so I am excited for thing to open up. My dad is not a big fan of the coffee that they serve and he says the food doesn't have a lot of flavor. But overall I would recommend to others looking.

I think they are understaffed from my observations. The staff are running constantly. They are quick to respond to call button requests. My loved one doesn't want to eat in the dining room, and doesn't feel comfortable going there due to medical conditions. However, the community is willing to bring the meals to the resident's rooms for a fee. The food is sometimes not as hot as it could be. I would recommend the community without hesitation. The director is quite nice, and has a calming presence who is thoughtful. T.G. is wonderful to work with.

The staff is very respectful, nice, and caring to the residents. The food is pretty good for our loved one. The staff does well with the diet for the residents. I would like to see more interaction between the residents.

We chose Brookdale because they worked a lot with physical therapy and with my dads situation he needed that and they offered a 2 person assist which he needed as well. They were very good with communication and keeping me updated since we couldn't go in due to covid. Their willingness to tailor to the needs of our family were great and I would recommend to others looking.

My mother fought Dementia for 7 hard years. We were in 2 homes prior to our final stop at Brookdale Dublin. I loved the home feel of the facility. Having been at other facilities I can say that I felt my mothers care was the best of them all (as evident that I never hesitated to move her). As with all facilities you come to have your favorite team members; [name removed] will always have a place in our hearts. Even made it a point to be the one to call me upon my mothers passing. I am forever grateful it was him :). I highly recommend Brookdale Dublin for your loved one.

We chose Brookdale Harbor Bay because it seemed like it was going to be the best fit for my moms situation. She was not capable of independent living and needed a memory care facility that focused on just that and that understands and knows how to help individuals with those issues. From what I can tell mom is doing well and she is happy here. I have only been inside the facility a few times, but now that we are both vaccinated I will be able to go visit more often and get a better view of the facility.

Good vibe from residents and nice staff. good surroundings. Unit is a little bigger than what we need. Can possibly have a balcony.
