Brookdale

During my stay the staff members were very helpful, friendly, attentive and accommodating. The community was kept extremely clean, and the meals were very good. Most of the activities would stop after dinner, but they would show movies and leave our board games. The activities director was super, she really bent over backwards to keep things going for everyone, she was very nice.

I have some issues with the director there. I have a guardianship case, and the director hasn't complied with some of my terms of guardianship. But overall my person is being well taken care of. The place is nice. The food is great. The nurses and caregivers are very nice to her. For the residents it's a very nice place, and my person likes it there. I would like to have her continue to live there as well. We'll see if the communication and some of the things I've been asking for get better. But overall it's a great facility.

We liked the community. We felt it would have been too big for our loved one, and may have stayed in their room the entire time.

Any questions I've ever had, they've taken care of and answered right away. I checked out other places, and their cost is very reasonable in comparison. It's like a nice hotel, very clean, very organized. They have a nice, roomy cafeteria. They seem to offer a lot of activities. They're very good to my loved one. I would recommend anybody to go check them out, especially compared to other places that I viewed. They've been very compliant in meeting our needs. The admissions person, the first person you ever interact with in the community, is especially good and very knowledgeable. She helps out everybody. She talked to me quite a bit to get everything organized, and I see how much she helps other families. She's such a good person, probably the best in the entire organization.

I would recommend this community to others based on my experience. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The food could be better my loved one does not like some of the options.

Our tour was really nice. I liked it there. The facility was super clean, and everybody there was really nice. The only downside was there was no yard or grassy area outside. It was all cement. But they were really helpful on the tour.

WE chose Brookdale because of the location, it is outside the city but in a rural area. It is a nice, quiet safe place. The value for the money is great as well. We also liked the ability to move her into memory care when the time comes and not have to move facilities. My mom has a studio and it is quite large, we were very happy with it. My uncle mentioned security is not really tight so that could be improved. They are very good about covid guidelines. I would recommend to others looking.

What ultimately grew us to Brookdale was the fact that it s a smaller community, we knew it wasn't going to be overwhelming for our loved one. It has more of a family feel to it, and it is all on one floor so very accessible for those with walkers and wheelchairs. Also the location is convenient, it is easy for our family to visit and take our loved one out to do things. So far he seems to really be enjoying the meals, we have not heard of any complaints yet. The value for cost is very fair, and we would recommend the community to others.

Brookdale was very nice. The community is beautiful. The residents were very happy during our tour. The community did let us know that it wouldn't work for us for a few different reasons for my loved one.

I thought Brookdale Meadowmont was really great. I liked how through their assessment was. They were very good about asking us questions about Dad to determine how well he would fit in there, that kind of thing. And I was impressed by that. They were the first place that we visited, and there seemed to be less activities going on there, which was a factor in our selection of a different community. But the tour they gave was excellent. And they were great with follow-up after the tour as well, which was nice.

We chose Brookdale Summerfield because i was more familiar with the location that the facility is in. The apartment sizes are really good. The staff members here are so friendly and helpful, I would give them above a 5 if I could. It is a very nice facility, they have outdoor grounds you can walk around on. I would recommend to others looking.

Our family was able to have an in person tour, and we were able to see a lot of this community. Brookdale Cushing Park is a very nice and clean community and was one of our top choices.

Because of APFM, our family has experienced peace of mind, body and spirit. Our mother is i a structured environment which she desperately needed. We have an amazing staff, nurses and all their crew. All is well.

This is worth looking at for your loved one. Overall the level of detail, the community looks nice, and they provide good care all stand out to me.

Everybody was wonderful, both the staff and the residents. There are a lot of good doctors available in the office building right next door in the parking lot, so that's very convenient for appointments. There is also a CVS and a Safeway and a whole bunch of little stores just half a block away across the parking lot, all close enough to walk to. The food looked and smelled good. They offered lots of activities. It's a great value. Brookdale Windsor has an option for people who are low income to get some money back. The staff told us about that and were helping us to get that set up, which was saving us a considerable amount per month. And that's not something that's available everywhere.

[name removed], the admissions person we worked with, is the reason my mother and I chose Brookdale. It was her warmth that made the whole process manageable from beginning to end. The paperwork felt overwhelming so I dropped the pile in front of her and she helped me through it. She was understanding, flexible, and had the perfect energy. She made us smile during a difficult time.
