Brookdale

My loved one was only there a couple of days, at no fault of Brookdale's. The process of getting him moved in was pretty easy, and I was provided with plenty of information about the cost and services that would be provided to him. They made the move-out process quick and easy as well, yet they didn't rush me either. And they helped provided me with carts to move, which I appreciated.

My mother has been a resident of Brookdale Valparaiso Memory Care for over 4 years. I have found the staff to be very compassionate and helpful in her day to day care. During the COVID lockdown, the Executive Director emailed weekly updates and kept us apprised of how my mother was doing and shared communications/updates from the State, which I found to be very helpful. They did an excellent job of making sure families could continue to see and talk to their families via Facetimes. Zoom meetings were also held to give the families time to address any questions or concerns. We feel we made the right facility choice for our mother. We know she is being well cared for and she is in a safe place, which gives us a sense of peace.

Our family had an in person tour experience and we really liked Brookdale, this community was one of our top choices. However we decided against putting our loved one there, because at the time it seemed like the ratio of staff members to residents was way off.

Brookdale Jones Farm was a little bit more expensive than wheat we wanted to pay. But it looked very nice, and the staff we talked to on the tour were very friendly and helpful.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job taking care of my loved one and the food and activities are great also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience. My loved one is so happy and has really enjoyed Brookdale.

This is a great place! The community staff is fabulous. This is the place to live, if you need a place. I've had the chance to meet with the staff and they are all wonderful! I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Will is the director here. The community made my loved one pancakes to make sure my loved one would eat. There is a large room for the residents to play kickball, a pool table, and a wonderful activities director.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The staff does all they can to say yes to accommodate. They do their best to keep the residence happy I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Our family had an in person tour and our tour was really good, we really liked the community. However they only have assisted living and we wanted a community with both assisted living and memory care.

We toured with Brookdale and really liked the facility. We were just looking for something with a more home like atmosphere.

This is such a wonderful place. My mom has been there 1 year and has truly enjoyed it. The staff is so friendly and the attention to detail is amazing.

My husband suffered a fall in our home in [date removed] (hitting his head). Would not go to ER. Had a seizure at home - hosp. month of [date removed] - skilled care (not good) in [location removed]. Transferred to Brookdale in [date removed] - excellent memory care - he was a 2 assist resident. Staff was awesome and treated him with respect and dignity and had good moral support to keep him happy!

Overall they've been an excellent fit for us, and everything has worked out really great. As a male resident, my loved one is pleased that there is a higher number of male residents than at other communities we looked at. Even though he's in independent living, the staff know his regular schedule, and if he deviates from that, they check on him and make sure he's okay. I think that's really good. When I walk in, they recognize me and know who my loved one is. So they really pay attention to what goes on in the place. And that impresses me. The food is hit or miss for my loved one, but I think the activities they offer are pretty good. They're going on some excursions, but they're only allowing about 9 or so people to go at once, so it's hard to get on the list to go. But for what we're paying for independent living and the services we're getting, the value is very good.

Fro our understanding our loved one enjoys the meals, and she absolutely loves the bingo which they have all the time. The value for cost is reasonable. One thing we really like is getting the emails and announcements about whats going on with activities and events.

We chose Brookdale Panama City because all of the things above. The cleanliness, friendliness of staff members, and my mother in law just loves it. She is so happy and content here and we are so pleased. I would recommend to others looking.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Findlay. They gave us a ton of helpful information and spend a lot of time with us. The only reason we did not choose them was because the location was further from us than we would have liked.

We chose this facility because dad loves the water. He has a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom is very spacious. My dad got just what he wanted, he overlooks the Corpus Christi Bay and Lexington. He is able to see boats coming in and out. They have a van take you grocery shopping and to medical appointments.Activities are great when they are able to have them. I would recommend to others looking.

I have always enjoyed living at Brookdale. It has been a good place to be at this time in my life. The staff are ready to help me whenever they can and I have always been pleased with the services.

We are having a good experience so far with Brookdale Montrose. I really liked all the activities that are offered, and the staff members look after the residents there quite well.
