Brookdale has a huge variety of activities, our loved ones have a monthly calendar that shows all the daily activities. So far they have had not one complaint about the meals or dining service. Brookdale was very competitive in price for everything they had to offer, and our loved ones apartment was newly renovated.

I needed to act fast to find a facility in order for my mom to leave the hospital. Brookdale was able to meet with me and give me a tour with no notice. They immediately made me feel comfortable and right at home with everyone I was introduced to. They calmed my fears and explained what they could provide for my mom and was able to move her in with no problem and within a day. Their staff takes care of your loved one the way you would want them to take care of their own, and we found an awesome place for my mom to now call home!

The sales team was excellent and the director is great at sending updates via email. The only negative was that I think that the nursing staff could have followed up better with the family members, they were hard to get a hold of and did not have a sense of urgency and did not keep families up to speed as well as we would have liked.

They do have a lot things to do here, they take suggestions from residents on activities which is a big plus. The value for the money is great. I have a wonderful apartment with a large living area, an efficiency kitchen, and a good size bedroom. I am on the corner so I have a lot of windows that looks out over a park and a small balcony. I would recommend Brookdale Glen Ellyn to others looking.
