Brookdale

This community was okay. My mom likes to walk and be outside a lot so the location is important when it comes to the community. The community also did not have the right feeling that I was looking for. It kind of felt like a nursing home. They gave us lots of information on the tours , it was a great tour but it was just not the right place for my loved one.

We chose Brookdale Nine Mile because the facility is memory care only, so all of the residents here are memory care. She has a double room and shares with a roommate, but they do have single rooms available as well. The staff is just amazing, my mom calls them all her friends. I would highly recommend them to others looking for dementia care.

My loved one had a short stay at Brookdale Williamsville, but I really liked them. I would stay there myself if I needed to. They were absolutely wonderful to me throughout the whole process. When my loved one was in the hospital, the staff reached out to me - called and texted - to check on her care while she was there, and also to check on me and how I was doing as well. And I really appreciated that.

I would definitely recommend talking with Brookdale DeLand and checking them out. The marketing director is superb, and one of the primary reasons we chose them. She has been extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The executive director is great as well. Management in general has been very quick to respond. My loved one seems to be getting all of the care that she needs and feels well taken care of. And I don't really hear complaints from her about the cleanliness or food overall. Moving into a social setting was an enormous change for her, and they seem to have really grasped the magnitude of that. They invite her to things, but they don't force her to go. And that has really changed her life. Now she even looks forward to activities at times.

This is a reasonably priced community and it fits the realm of this kind of community where there are a lot of peers there. It gives people the opportunity to have their own place and get involved with the community. They have activities like bingo, exercise and my mother in law seems to enjoy these things. Being in a group has made her want to do more.

We had a great tour experience with Brookdale Mt. Lebanon. The facility itself is very nice as well as all of the staff that we had interaction with. Unfortunately it was just too expensive.

i toured this community and i liked it, but the apartments were too small.

I would tell others that this is a nice community and I would recommend them to others. The staff were great to work with and were friendly, and helpful with any questions or concerns the family had.

Brookdale was a lovely facility, I had great conversation with the staff. There was very little outdoor space and it was on a steep hill, so it would have been harder for my loved one to walk around. I have nothing negative to say about them, it was just not the right fit for us.

We had a very good tour experience with Brookdale Baywood. The staff went above and beyond and gave us all the time that we needed to ask our questions we had and look around.

We got a great tour from Brookdale Apache. The staff really went out of their way and gave us all the time we needed and answered all of the questions we had thoroughly. We were very impressed

We chose Brookdale East Arbor because they were recommended to us by a previous facility. The food looks good and they are accommodating. They have plenty of activities available. She is handicap and they accommodate her very well. They have so many amenities offered such as a hair salon, nail salon, a pediatrist, dentist, doctors that come on site, etc. She is happy I would recommend that people check them out. They have been great with communication.

Brookdale Bloomsburg is so bright and open. its a small community to where everyone knows everyone and they are all treated well. they do what they can to resolve any issues and are always there to lend a helping hand.

I would recommend you look at the community to see if this would be a good fit for your loved one. There were times that my loved one's backyard would flood due to an open sewer line. My loved one enjoyed the food. The staff were good to work with if there were any questions or concerns.

We toured Brookdale Chandler and I really liked the facility, they gave us a great tour. We did not choose them because we felt the value for the money was not as good and the room sizes here were a little on the smaller side.

Our mother has been a resident at Brookdale Beaverton for [dates removed] and has progressed to an advanced stage of dementia. This facility is very clean and does not smell. The public spaces are attractive and well maintained. There are a variety of different indoor and outdoor public spaces where residents can gather and interact with other residents and family members. The care team has been very good at keeping mom clean and comfortable. Prior to COVID there was a very comprehensive activity program. During COVID social interactions were curtailed somewhat. The staff managed COVID very well and there was good communication from Brookdale to the families. When mom moved onto Medicaid the executive staff worked with us to manage the transition. We have no complaints regarding Brookdale and do not regret our decision to place mom in this facility.

The staff has continued to give an overwhelming amount of support for families with loved ones here, and would recommend the Brookdale Corona community to others.

I would recommend you review the community to see if it would be a good choice for your loved one. The location was good for the family. Brookdale checked off all the boxes for us for the community we were looking for for my loved one. I f the resident doesn't like what is being served they can choose another item from the available menu. Everything is on one floor for my loved one.

We chose Brookdale Oakwood because it just seemed to be the best fit for the both of them and it is a really pretty part of town. The staff have all been very accommodating and welcoming. I would recommend them.

We have had a very good experience with Brookdale Reno, everything has been great.
