Brookdale

We visited Brookdale Memory Care Portage with dad and thought the facility was top notch. I felt welcomed by the staff and was very impressed with the food and activity selection. We are moving forward with the placement process and am so thankful we found a great place for dad. I love the socialization time with other residents and the large size of the rooms compared to other places we have seen.

I have been living here for 2 years. I am very happy with everything about this place. All of the workers are so sweet and caring. Management is so caring and understanding. I am very happy with everything!

Everybody here has been great. They are amazing with communication, they always call me to let me know how he is doing. If they ever have any covid cases they call me right away as well. When I visit the staff are all talking to him. It has a family type atmosphere. Everything is cooked on site and it makes the facility smells great. I would highly recommend to others looking.

My loved one likes everyone here. Covid has affected things but they are doing their best with the residents. My loved one was somewhere else and they did not have the care like this community. My loved one is impressed with the food and says that is is wonderful.

I liked this community there was just another community that worked more for my loved one. The distance was also further. This was a smaller community and I liked it. It was nice there was just another community that was closed and made more sense.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a wonderful tour, this was a top contender and even though we did not choose it we know it would of been a fantastic place.

We've experienced a very professional and very courteous staff that appears to be interested in the wellbeing of my mom. They seem to go out of their way to take good care of her. I live out of state, and I feel comfortable that they're taking good care of her even though I can't be there.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my mother to live - especially during the pandemic. I highly recommend.

This was a good community and this was my second choice but my loved one wanted something smaller.

I have lived here for 4 years now and there is lots they do to keep us busy at Brookale. I like how the brighton senior center is next door too.

I placed my mother here and this is a great place for your loved one. I would go here if I needed to. They have activities like games, bingo, entertainment, mass on the weekends, knitting group and more for the residents to do.

We haven't had any problems with them. They've been pretty on top of it with my loved one. They communicate very well. And the facility is homey.

We had a great tour experience with Brookdale, it was a toss up deciding which to choose. It is a really nice place and I think it would be a great facility to have a loved one in.

It's pleasant here. I like the people here. I like the staff, and I'm getting good care. The facility and cleanliness are good as well. I would just like to see larger portions on the food.

My mother moved to Wornall Place in early May, 2021. She loved it from the very first day! She continues to express how happy she is living there; her apartment is the perfect size, and includes a full kitchen and a nice sized patio. She looks out on the courtyard, which she loves! The staff is so friendly and helpful! As her family, we are also happy that mom is in a safe, welcoming community! The facilities are very clean, my mom loves the food, the staff are wonderful!! There are so many activities every day, mom has many options to choose from. The facility is secure and front-desk staff are so friendly. We looked at 4 other facilities before deciding on Wornall Place. It is hands-down the best!!

Our family had a really nice in person tour, and just by driving on the streets looking at this community it looks like an upscale apartment complex.

I feel like my dad is safe here and he has his dog which is even better. The staff all really seem to like my loved one. They all know his name and they know me also they even got to know his pet which says a lot.

Brookdale Centre Pointe Boulevard is very welcoming. It's a small and personal community. They're very receptive to my calls - they even recognize and know me by my voice when I call - and they keep you informed. I've already recommended them to friends. They do a great job with the food. The activities person is wonderful. We're just very pleased with what they're doing. And compared to other places, I think the value is good.

We toured with Brookdale North Fremont and thought it was a great quality facility. All of the staff were nice and did their jobs well. It just came down to the location for us.
