Brookdale

Our experience has been really good so far, they have had some trouble with staffing like everyone else and a recent flood but that is something we cannot blame them for. The community is always very clean, and one of the things that sold us on this community was the price. It is a very reasonable value and the community is pet friendly.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The caregivers and staff seem to have been there a long time, with a range from 2-30 years at the community. The meals on the weekend are being served as to go items due to low staffing.

Brookdale Kenmore has a wonderful, clean facility and great staff. [names removed] were incredible and ensured we had everything we needed. unfortunately, my loved ones level of care deteriorated beyond their scope of support; but they gave us a partial refund, which is unheard of! I would recommend this community to those who are in need.

We went with Brookdale because it is a beautiful facility and the location is very convenient to me. Everybody is so nice and pleasant to work with. The facility is very clean and there was no smell. My dad loves it here, he is in rehab after falling and he keeps saying he cannot wait to go back. They are all very family oriented people. Overall it is just a great place and I highly recommend it.

We love it. The people are very friendly. All the staff I have encountered have been wonderful. It's really clean, even amidst renovations right now. My loved one always seems to be well taken care of, and is always nice and clean. She seems to be happier here than she was at home. She just hates to be alone, and over here she can always see somebody. And that makes her happy. I think they do well with the food. A sample meal they served recently was a very hearty vegetable beef soup, salad, a sandwich, and dessert, which all looked great. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Lawndale Park, and already have.

We were referred to Brookdale Folsom because they had the ability to use hoyer lifts. The price was something that really stuck out to us as well. He has got his own apartment and it is a great size. The staff members are all very attentive to him and whatever he needs. I would definitely recommend them.

Mom had a horrible break and was unruly. They help keep her calm and comfortable. She does not know us anymore but she smiles when we come in and likes her caregivers.

This community is okay but it was to far away from my daughter and I wanted a more modern feeling environment. They gave a good tour with lots of information.

We had a great tour experience with Brookdale, the facility looked awesome. They offered assisted living and memory care which looking back I wish I would have gone with someplace that just offered memory care. Unfortunately this facility was twice the price of the one that we ended up choosing which is why we did not go with them.

I would tell others that my loved one is happy here and I feel they are well taken care of. This is important to our family. The staff are very good at leting the family know of any changes to our loved one, and how they will monitor it. The intake staff have been friendly to interact with.

Our experience with Brookdale Emerson has excellent so far. They accept the VA aid and assistance which for us was an absolute God send. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

It checks all the boxes and has everything we are looking for. I am very happy with our choice, we are completely comfortable and engaged here.

I'm a musician and have been going to Brookdale College Square for several years. The warm family atmosphere is palpable from the moment I enter the building! Always greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist. Love playing here! Activities staff are never passive observers! By their active participation they encourage the residents to do the same as well as family members who may be visiting their loved ones. So many times I loose track of time when I play at Brookdale because it's so much fun!

we toured this community and liked it a lot. we loved the people there, but it was just too far away for our loved one and other family members.

What really stood out to us during our loved one stay at Brookdale Canton was the staff. At times our loved one was very difficult to deal with and irrational and the staff always stayed very calm and was kind. They also did their best to really work with our loved one and be accommodating.

I enjoyed my visit at Brookdale Portage. The staff was very friendly. I really liked the variety of meals and activities. Compared to the other facilities we have visited in the Portage area, this one is at the top of our list!

Brookdale is very good at encouraging communication with my loved one. The grounds are very homey and welcoming. The Director of Nursing isn't as friendly as they could be. My loved one thinks the food is ok. There are several options to choose from for the meals that are provided. Some of the activities include games, some excursions off site and more for the residents to choose from. There is a large courtyard in the middle of the community.

Our family had an in person tour and this was a very very close first choice it was a top contender, we just liked the location of another community better. However the staff here was their biggest selling point, they have excellent staff at Brookdale.
