Brookdale

Brookdale Madison west is a lovely community with caring individuals serving those in need of memory care, early memory care needs and those needing assisted living. They have great programs for the residents to enjoy and they two wonderful nurses who care about those they serve. Their specialize Memory care area is a great option for those who want an active group of individuals to be with.

We chose Brookdale Santa Catalina because of the location - it is close to our out children and also because of the quality of the staff members. The apartment sizes are just right for what we need and it is a very quiet place. The meals are chef prepared and they have a very diverse menu. Every day we have about 6 or 7 things to choose from. The food has been outstanding - much better than we ever expected. They have a rec center and a hair salon so that is a big plus. They also have transportation available to doctors appointments, stores, casinos, etc. so that is a very nice feature to have. We have been very happy and I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

This has been a very positive experience for us and my loved one. Brookdale has nailed all our expectations with admissions, and the transition for my loved one. The best part is my loved one is happy here. The food has been outstanding here and the amenities have been excellent for my loved one. The staff have been accommodating to the family's requests to assist with the needs of my loved one. The tenure of the staff is impressive to me. The staff communication with the family is responsive to the family's questions and concerns.

I loved the feel for the community when I walked in the door. Smaller community and I felt most comfortable with that, the staff were all friendly and it was very cleanly. The staff were engaged with the residents and they were having fun. It is in a beautiful location and close to everything. When the time comes to move Mom, I will choose this location.

Everyone that I have come in contact with at Brookdale Madison West has been amazing! Not ready to move my Mom yet, but when I do, they will be who I choose. They were kind and thoughtful and took my questions seriously. Very timely with responses back to me, which made my fears with senior living for Mom, just go away.

Unfortunately our loved one was only there for a few days but during the time he was there he received excellent care. The staff members were just wonderful and if he was able to go back there after being released from the hospital he would of. We have already recommended this community to other families.

We have been very happy with our experience at Brookdale Melbourne so far. [name removed] was very personally involved in the whole process which is another reason we were drawn to this facility. My dad seems a lot happier here than his previous facility. He is actually walking around whereas at the last place he just stayed in his room. He is getting great care. I know they have a lot of activities provided for the residents, but he has not partaken in any yet due to his PT and OT. The value is great - it is equal to what were paying at our other facility and they have more activities and he is able to go outside. I am so comfortable with the place that I bring my girl scouts here and they plant plants around the facility. It is a very friendly and family oriented atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

They have a calendar for activities. The living space is nice and bigger. They have an area, where you can sit and talk, which is very relaxing. They have all kinds of seating areas. It's a very welcoming environment. The staff is very helpful. It feels like home, especially how it's the set -up. It is a smaller community.

They made sure all my questions were answered and were extremely helpful. They have a staff that is the best I have ever dealt with. The cook is outstanding. Have been impressed by the quality of all meals. Activities are outstanding Very fair for quality care residents receive

The staff is really good to mom! They do a great job keeping her room clean and the activities are good. The financial office is easy to work with and even fax mom's invoice, which is so helpful. The only concern I have is the turnover, there has been a lot. My mom has told me "I feel fortunate that I can stay in a place like this", which really says it all to me!

This facility is great! We've had a couple of minor concerns and they've been great about listening to them and finding solutions, which we are really happy with. They seem to have a good variety of activities and always have something going on for the residents to participate in. The food is good, dad does mention sometimes that he wishes they had more variety, but the food itself is good. The staff is very friendly and very kind. The facility feels more like home than most. It's very clean. Overall, we are very happy with the facility and would recommend them to friends and family!

It's a very good fit for our family. My loved one is really happy there, and really appreciated being introduced to the other residents. It's a smaller community, wihich offers a freindly service. Everyones needs is different, so I encourage other families, to take a look at the amenities, and room layout. Overall, it has been a positive experience.

We liked the community. The only drawback was this community had a combined memory care and assisted living.

Brookdale West Boynton Beach is excellent and one of the friendliest places. They're always eager to please the resident. Services that they offer are very good. Room rates, activities, those are all excellent, but food on the other hand is lacking. It's not exactly something a chef would prepare.

Brokdale Chenal Heights seemed like a great place based off of our tour experience. It just had a different feel to it - the facility is a bit smaller and we were wanting a larger facility that offered more activities. This still seemed like a great choice though.

We absolutely loved Brookdale College Parkway - this facility was our second choice. The building was beautiful and all of the residents as well as the staff members were great to us. It does have a little more of a formal feel to it. The reason we did not choose them was because they did not have wire free internet - they were in the process of getting it. For most people that would not be an issue but it was for my mother.

Definitely one to look at, very good place with great caring and loving staff. Mom is always satisfied with the food options but other than that no complaints.

Caring staff and available to communicate with the family... if family is unable to be with parents at their whim. Able to handle changing conditions as elders decline and encourage socializing and participation. The only negative was the ability to schedule transportation for necessary appointments. This proved difficult so outside transport had to be arranged. Overall they were very easy to work with.

The building is beautiful and comfortable, the food is consistently delicious, the activities are plentiful and varied, and most importantly, the staff is top notch.

My mother in law is a resident and the whole family is very happy about the care and attention she receives at Brookdale Mount Vernon. When they say you’re loved one becomes part of their family they really mean it. She especially loved the field trips and activities they do. The whole staff is outstanding and I can’t explain how much their love and care means to the entire family.
