Brookdale

Our family was referred to Brookdale Monroe after experiencing a less than one star facility. As soon as we spoke to the management at Brookdale a wave of relief was inescable.. The initial phone came expeditiously and professionally. We were hoping for an upgrade to say the least. What we got was an assisted living facility that sets the standard. Upon arrival for our tour we met with [name removed] whom was timely, patient, knowledgeable and most of all friendly. As we toured, all questions were answered and all details were covered; some details we wouldn't even have thought of. After the tour we were all in and then I had the luxury to meet with and deal with THE BEST STAFF I've ever worked with. The transition was flawless, only because of the diligence Brookdale Monroe staff exudes. Our time was short with Brookdale Monroe, unfortunately. But if you're looking to care for your loved ones, look no further than Brookdale Monroe. We made friends, I can truly say, for a lifetime. Sincerely

Came to tour for my mom. Lack of money care made it not a good fit.

This was a great community. The unit they showed us was a little smaller and not available for my loved ones at the time.

Our family had many scheduled tours with several places while looking for a place for our mother. Brookdale Mt. Lebanon was definitely one of the best and top of those visits. Very nice layout, nice sized rooms, active residents tons of options and activities to keep residents active. Main thing for us though comes down to cost, it is up there so that will have to be calculated into the final decision.

The food selection seems to be okay. It really feels like a community. The staff really cares, especially the LPN who is very compassionate. Also, the marketing director really cares. If I needed a place to go, I would go here. I chose this place because of the price, location, marketing, and staff. It's a clean environment. They offer a lot of activities. Overall, I love this place, and it just felt like the right place for my loved one.

I've been impressed with them. It's a clean facility with a good smell. Because of Covid, there's extra security, and the residents aren't going to be able to wander off anywhere. Both the staff and residents are all friendly and say hello. The staff bent over backwards to get my family member in when we were in a time crunch, and everything went smoothly. The food is good and usually served hot. The service is timely - residents aren't waiting around like at a restaurant. Even the food service director knew everything about my loved one, so the staff really know the residents here, which helps.

We chose Brookdale Asheville Overlook because of the cleanliness of the facility, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the staff, and the activities. Mom also fell in love with the room they had available for her. She is really enjoying all the activities that they have provided. They do things like ice cream socials, scenic rides and then this week has been spirit week so each day was a different decade they dressed up for. I would definitely recommend them.

I'm a retired nurse with knowledge of nursing and care centers. This is the best I have seen. Brookdale Nacogdoches is overall fantastic, and I can't say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend them to others.

Only real negative is the cost. It's about 15% to 20% too expensive.

This was a good community. Brookdale community was a little more than we wanted to spend.

Our family had a total of 20 children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. The room was set up & decorated beautifully. They accommodated our large crew very well. There were also plenty of cookies for the kids to decorate. They all had a blast. All staff were friendly & helpful!

It's a very good place, for people that need memory care. The staff is very caring and willing to help the residents.

My parents are doing well. It's a welcoming and clean community. The staff are knowledgeable. The apartment is good and has good accessibility. It's just the right size and meets all their needs. They've enjoyed the activities they've tried so far. When it came time to move, we had make it happen really quickly, and they were really awesome to work with getting the financial part of it worked out. My parents have a dog, which has been the best stress reliever getting to keep her with them. and their dog is really happy there as well. I've been really pleased with the experience.

Everyone at Brookdale Jones Farm is extremely friendly and the apartments they have for the residents there are just beautiful. They do have a ton of different activities and things for the residents to do however they do limit the number of people who can participate. Based on the experience we have had so far we would absolutely recommend Brookdale Jones Farm to other families.

The staff is very caring. The activity director is wonderful with the residents.

My 91 year old parents moved into Brookdale DeLand in August and they absolutely love everything about their new home - my Dad raves about the delicious food & what he calls 6 or 7 courses each meal & my Mom is enjoying her new friends and the courtyard. Everything they need fits in their apartment and they are enjoying all of the events. Thank you for all you do to make this such a special place. All of the staff is wonderful & make sure my parents feel at home - which they do. We couldn't be happier & highly recommend Brookdale DeLand!!

My husband was a resident of Brookdale DeLand Memory Care for 4 months last year. In that time, he responded so well to the level of care that the staff provided that he was able to move home again. After living home for 15 months, it became necessary for my husband to return to Brookdale. He was welcomed back with open arms! Seeing so many familiar faces again really helped make the transition a smooth one.

The facility was a good place. It was very clean. The staff wasn't extremely friendly at first, but they warmed up to us. Mom was a tough cookie, but they got to know her and took good care of her. We were very happy with the care she received here. Communication with the family was good, they called often. Housekeeping was great and her room was always very clean and smelled good. The food seemed ok. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Everyone I met or passed in the hallway was happy and loved it there. Nothing was staged. I've been to many care centers and felt best about this one. [names removed] is a caring, genuine person who blew me away with her attitude, humor and compassion. I still hope my mother can live there, but right now she needs more of a hospital setting. BTW, my mother loved the place too.

Friendly and helpful! My father-in-law lived there and they took great care of him. The outdoor areas are really nice. If you're looking for a great, safe pIace, I highly recommend them.
