Brookdale

We visited and reviewed almost all the senior assisted living facilities in North Denver metro area, about 7 in all. Brookdale was the best value we found. The people seem to genuinely care about the residents. They are a little understaffed at times and could do more to help a new resident settle in and figure out the system but after a little while my mother felt quite comfortable. It is homelike and attractive and the dining room servers are quite personable. It is located in Arvada in a nice shopping area which helps residents who can walk a bit. They have been quite accomodating of my mother's food issues. Very responsive to requests for help. The nursing staff are great. They could use a little more physical activities and opportunities to get out on the shuttle. Overall we are both happy with the secure environment.

I think its a nice looking facility. The food doesn't seem to be too hot. The only other thing is that they charge the residents to bring trays to their rooms if they're not able to walk to the dining room. I don't think they should charge for that if their physically not able to do it. It should be optional. Other than that, This is a very nice community. My overall rating is 4 stars. I would recommend it.

They are doing great for my sister. She is being well taken care of. The food seems to be pretty good, they have a new chef and there were a couple times the meal wasn't as good as expected, but it's usually pretty good. Everyone could always do a little better, but I would give them at least a four.

They seem to be doing just fine. The food seems to be okay. It's pretty clean and the staff is pretty friendly. I don't really have any major concerns. So far it's working out well, and they do a fairly good job.

No room available but director, Heather Wilson was very helpful and gave me valuable info. I opted not to tour property at this time.

Overall things have worked out well for our family at Clare Bridge of Niskayuna! It is a nice looking place, they keep it very clean, and all the furniture is new. The staff here are friendly and professional, and they do a great job taking care of the people who live here.

I was very impressed with the overall services. The Brookdale Midland is very clean. They have a very friendly staff. This is a nice community. If you are searching for an assisted living facility in Midland, TX, I would recommend this one.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far our experience has been a good one. The facility itself is nice looking and clean, and the aides have all been very friendly and helpful. I've also been pleased with the food, the meals are very good!

Brookdale Bradenton Gardens seemed like a very nice community. I did take a tour of this community. They were very clean and had a friendly staff. My brother suffers from dementia and I thought this was a very safe place for him. The rooms seemed very nice and clean also. Definitely worth looking into!

Nice facility and small size was good. Would like to find something closer to our house.

I think they do a good job overall at Chambrel at Montrose! The facility itself is attractive and clean, and they do a great job maintaining the place! The people who work here are friendly and helpful, although they do seem to be a bit shorthanded at times. They also have a good variety of activities here, as well as good food!

We toured this community while looking into senior living options for a loved one. Brookdale Waxahachie was a very nice looking place, overall! The facility itself was clean, bright, and well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is definitely somewhere we will consider for our loved one when the time comes!

Things are going very well with Brookdale. My loved one has settled in well, and we are entirely satisfied by the services they provide.

We are very pleased, but at this point when we placed my mom there we weren't told that they were being bought out by another company. Which means service fees change and we are waiting to see the fee schedule to see what we do next. Before Elemcroft charged by a fee depending on what level they were on. Levels 1 through 4 and now they are not doing the levels anymore. Now the new one wants to charge on everything they are going to do with her. It will vary depending if they assisted her on showering or if she was totally independent. We love her nurses and the personnel that works there. Sweet as can be but they don't have control over cost fees. If it doesn't work out with the pricing since they were at the limit of our budget to start with, we may have to move her. Elmcroft was right at the boarder of our fee.

Overall it's been a good fit for my loved one. The bad: 1) The property is somewhat shabby. After years of neglect the new manager is working hard to fix things up, but there is still lots to do. The challenge is the single floor, sprawling layout, which means a lot of grounds and building upkeep. 2) Rent increases have been hefty the past few years, probably due to the costs they're incurring to fix the place up. 3) Visitor parking is very limited. Residents often park right by the front door and may not move their cars for days at a time. Meanwhile, visitors will be double parked or park in the fire lanes. 4) There is a beautiful courtyard in the center of the facility that no one uses. The concrete leading out to it is uneven, making it hazardous, and there is no automatic door opener, making the doors too heavy for many of the elderly residents to open. The good: 1) Most important, the staff is friendly, caring and dedicated. I can't say enough good things about them. There is very little turnover, which speaks volumes. 2) The apartments are cute, roomy and each has its own screened in patio.

So Far So Good! My overall rating of the Brookdale Central Paradise Valley is 4 stars. I rate the cleanliness 4 stars. I rate the friendliness 4 stars. I rate the value 4 stars. I rate the care services 4 stars. I rate the activities 4 stars. Everything has been going good so far. I would recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a 4 star assisted living facility with a good value. This is a good place.

When we interviewed with Patricia mother was very shy, so I expected more from the management to get her to open up. I tried following up with the director Diane,but she has a hard time responding back to me. I wouldn't say its a bad facility,just not a good fit for my mother. She is currently there until we decide on what path to take for her living situation. Over all its a good place,the staff is friendly and clean facility.

Overall we are pleased with how things have gone at Brookdale Pensacola. It is a nice looking, well kept, clean facility, and the staff have all been very friendly and professional. One suggestion I have for them is that I think their orientation process for new residents and families could be improved, I still felt like we had to find quite a bit out on our own.

Our experience with Brookdale Danville has been a good one overall. I don't have much experience with other facilities to compare it to, but the staff here is very friendly and professional, and the facility itself is well kept and clean.

I have only visited this community about 3 times. So far so good. My Mother is getting use to the transition and is getting better. The High Point Place is very clean. I rated the Cleanliness 5 stars. They are also very friendly. I rated the Friendliness 5 stars. The Value is also great. I rated the Value 5 stars. The Care Services are great as well. They do a good job taking care of my Mother. I rated the Care Services 5 stars.
