Brookdale

My mother in law is doing well at this community and we are pleased. They have recently had a massive turn over and are very under staffed at the moment, but they are trying to hard to hire more people. They have a new director and she is trying her hardest to make some good changes.The community is well-kept, but due to the fact they are short staffed, it can take a while for the cleaning to get done. I have confidence that things will improve. I would recommend it.

Everything is going well for my in laws at this community. They are caring for them very well. The section of the community where they are at is pretty brand new. So everything is very nice and clean. The staff is wonderful, they have been wonderful to work with. There are many activities for my in laws to choose from. The food is nice, they are eating well. It has been a good experience and I would recommend it.

We are new here and hope when mom settles in and communication gets better we will see better things.

Brookdale Courtyard Puyallup is in a pretty environment. The rooms are nice and I am pleased with it. My dad is very particular about the food so he is not fond of it and I have not had a chance to try the food myself. The staff are good with him and very pleasant. They offer a lot of activities and he has taken part in the exercises. I would recommend.

My husband is doing well at this community, he is still adjusting a bit. The community is great, everyone is very nice and friendly. They keep everything pretty clean, but I do feel they need to vacuum more. The staff is great, they are very helpful and nice. There are many activities offered for the residents. The food is very good, they have a chef. Everything working out very well. They are caring for him and his needs very well. I would recommend this community.

So far we are satisfied with the care we are receiving her. The staff is very friendly and the community is clean. It is a little on the expensive side but I do feel the value is good. My dad is satisfied with the food and I get a peace of mind.

He is trying some new activities. The food is pretty decent. They have an one year spend down if you have Medicare, so that was a big plus. It has been a nice experience, so I would recommend it.

My parents seem happy at this community and have adjusted well to it. My mother particularly loves it as she doesn't have to cook or clean anymore. Their apartment is very nice although it would be nice to have a 2 bathroom selection. The communal areas are nice and clean and the residents we have met are all friendly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One concern I have is the food quality as it does not contain many healthy, nutrient dense selections. Example is salads made with iceberg lettuce rather than organic romaine or spring mix. My father is a vegetarian and he is challenged to find enough nutrition in the food offered. I would like to see more whole grain, bean, avocado, non-dairy (cashew milk, almond milk, hemp milk) options. The water has a distinct sulpher smell and caused them some gastrointestinal distress. We got them a water filter and this appears to have helped. Overall I will say this is a better place for my parents to be rather than living at home alone. They are comfortable and happy for the most part although my father is having a difficult time accepting the monthly price tag.

My mom is adjusting well to Brookdale Topeka. She likes that there are plenty of activities to keep her busy and the activities coordinator is a great asset to this community. I have eaten there a few times and I am not real fond of the food. The staff is friendly and keep me informed about my mom's care. The community is kept clean and well maintained. I also want to thank A Place for Mom as without their help we would not have been able to make the right decision for our family.

My husband is doing very well this community. I am pleased with the type of care he is getting. It was hard at first, but with the help of the staff, everything is getting better. I really love the staff, they are all sweethearts. There are great activities offered. The food is pretty good, I enjoy the dining area. Overall we are happy and I would recommend this community.

Everything is going very well for my friend. She has adjusted very well to the community. The community is very nice and everything is very clean. The staff has been great to work with. They offer nice activities and great food. She has her independence, but access to help if she needs it. It is a nice community and I would recommend it.

Nice place, going through some renovations now but looks pretty clean and sanitary. No odors. Just loved Cindy [removed], the sales manager. Very down to earth. Made me feel very comfortable. Good impression.

Everything is working out very well for my father at this community. They keep the community and his room very clean and nice. The staff is good, I've had a few issues with the commutation between us. He has joined a veterans group, which is all men. This community was a good fit for my father. I would recommend it.

Very nice. In right price range. Can always find a view of the mountains.

Our experience with Brookdale has been a good one, overall. The place is nice looking and generally very clean, and the staff and caregivers are all very friendly. My only real complaint would be that they could be more on top of communication with families.

Our loved one has only been here a short time, but so far Brookdale Niskayuna has made a positive impression! The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. Our loved one is being well cared for!

My mother really loves this community and she seems to have adjusted well to it. I have had no problem with this community. It is very well-kept and everything looks nice and clean. She is trying some new activities, but I do feel they need more activities through out the week. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. I would recommend it.

My mother has lived in Brookdale Muirfield Dublin, OH since the end of March 2016 and to date we have not experienced any concerns except that sometimes it seems they are short on staff. Otherwise my mother has enjoyed the meals and activities. The facility seems clean and staff is friendly.

This place appears OK. The staff is very friendly. I did not see programs going on? The baseboards in the place was not very clean. At least it did not smell like urine
