Most caregivers were ok, my biggest issues were lack of communication/planning with administration. No availability of caregivers or last minute cancellations on multiple occasions, and no communication to keep me aware of changing schedules.I will say I spoke to [name removed](Admin staff and she and she was always very courteous and compassionate. Although the issues I had were apparently beyond her control for resolution. I ultimately stopped services and went with [name removed]. This company was fantastic on all levels, care givers, price point, management, communications, all extraordinary.

They do not have enough care givers . When a caregiver is sick they can not replace the person, too often left with out a care giver . I wound not recommend this company. ……………………………..sincerely ………..,,,,

Their quality of care needs major improvements. They never bathed my mother. They did very little housework, and they continually changed the day they were coming. I wouldn't recommend Absolute Homecare to anyone.

One of the overnight sides used the MBTA . She took it on herself after the second night, to leave 15 minutes early so she could catch the 9:15 trolley and make her connection. She said: you don't need me now... got to run". Another aid clocked in outside and didn't arrive for 90 minutes.

Our caregivers were always clean, but the district manager was pretty nasty with my mother. They really didn't make meals as requested. Occasionally a hot dog and potatoes salad was served. Nobody implemented activities, It is extremely expensive given the care person only received [fee removed] out of the [fee removed] we were paying.

The two AIDS that the company provided for a few shifts were excellent, caring friendly and experienced. Management failed miserably in fulfilling scheduled coverage for my wife resulting in a last minute cancellation of an Aid for a 4 1/2 shift for[date removed]. Thanks s happened despite booking the Aid approximately a week earlier via conversation and in writing. Because of this it cost me a non-refundable [fee removed]charge for an event that I had made reservations for months ago. Very unprofessional attitude with Zero support offered from the owner with only a “sorry for the inconvenience” response. I offered some flexibility in my schedule as well as a means of overcoming the scheduling issue but to no avail. I Do Not Recommend This Organization at all! Find another one that is fully staffed, properly managed and reliable. There are plenty of other agencies to choose from.

They main entry is not kept very clean, but they do better in the the individual rooms. Most people are friendly. Daily meds and checking is ok. However, I don't think they follow the rules of diabetes very well. Some care and some do not. For meals, the ones they have are ok. They do not offer any low salt or diabetic diet even though they are a facility that says they have diabetes management. The activities they are are ok, but my person doesn't participate much. This place is really expensive and if you exceed the point care system or the care you need is not in the plan. Then you are charged extra. The pet fee is an additional <fee removed> deposit and if someone needs to help you feed it, it costs <fee removed> dollars extra per month.

They seem to have a problem with consistent employees. We only needed a 9-1 MWF but needed to be the same person every time. The caregivers kept calling out and quoting so it was difficult to get a consistent caregiver

The folks here a very nice. After going through several people who didn’t have the availability that we needed, there was someone found for us. However the scheduling is disorganized and there were times that I was told they had someone and then they came back and said they didn’t. It got to be too much to schedule with them so I discontinued using the service.

They were very friendly & knowledgeable when I interviewed them & for the first few weeks all was fine. Then the caregiver was switched to someone I never met & given the impression it was temporary. Turned out it was not. It was the original caregivers daughter who was lazy & unprofessional. Their daily evaluation/activity sheets were being filled out in advance along with their hours. Holy Hands is not someone I would ever recommend to anyone .

Honestly, I would rate all categories as a 2. It was not a good experience. The billing & continuity of care were the worst of all. There was a manager who scored a 4.5 for her knowledge & compassion. She was awesome but she could not make up for the lazy caregivers who took no initiative & just sat there on their phones. And the billing system was poor. We just got re-billed ( automatic bank draft) for a May bill for some reason. And I had to contact them & get them to correct it and then cancel the bank draft. Which should have been done in June when we discontinued service.

I would rather not say as reviews are biased based off of one's experience, therefore a review is either someone is really satisfied or really disappointed. Some of the caregivers were fantastic and I wish them all the best. Others, well, that is for another time. Overall, I started off pleased and as time went on, I found out this was NOT the fit for my loved one. I personally am disappointed and do not wish to further discuss or do a review. I do not wish to really rate the company, yet I will because that is the requirement. Also, I cannot rate a facility my loved one was never in. Senior Helpers provided in home care. ??

The lady they sent out to take care of my wife for a weekend was not physically able to perform the daily routine we follow. She could not walk my wife around the house and reverted to the wheelchair, which was fine except she could not move her from the wheelchair to the bed and had to call my son-in-law to get her in bed. On the plus side, though my wife stayed in the bed ,she was kept fed , clean and dry

They are very last minute on notifying you they are coming over We may not be the best to get advice from because we did not have a good experience.

Although the team at visiting angels are nice and helpful one of the caregivers that was assigned to my mom was not a good fit. Even after a home visit to talk to my mom they sent a young girl who did not know how to do the job and stole things from my mom. And I know this from cameras I have placed in the house. And they were notified and sent video. My mom felt very unsafe and the caregiver was asked to leave before her time was up. She had a second caregiver who was awesome but she was told by visiting angels there were cameras in the house. They are visible but the agency should not have told a caregiver. This caregiver didn’t stay because she was looking for another job because she said they didn’t pay well. Also, the agency got the times I needed help for my mom wrong on multiple occasions. Even though their prices are reasonable, Overall I was not happy and luckily found another agency

I would recommend: A Place for Mom, but both caregivers quit and we are still without any.

A total joke of a home caregivers agency. Their group of "caregivers" was more like High School babysitters, although my babysitters knew much more about caring for children than the Servaus "caregivers" knew. Only two out of eight of them knew how to load and start a dishwasher. I was told that they were trained. One washed two loads of clothes, dried them and hung all knits on hangers. However, they were still damp, she crammed them onto my closet full rail and they ended up full of wrinkles. This left me with an ironing job that I could not handle, I cannot stand up that long to iron more than one item. Out of eight caregivers, only one stayed on my 3 day job for 2 days. All others only came for one day. They did not notify either me nor the agency. The manager said that the people who do that are called 'Ghost Workers.' Only one cooked for me and I had to teach her how to scramble eggs! They all spent lots of time on their cellphones, too much.

My Mother in Law was 98 My Father in Law is 94. They were super independent so in home care was idea. When staff failed to show up for scheduled shifts and there was no one accessible at 24 Hour Home care to assist it was really difficult to pivot. 24 hour accessibility to staff at a minimum would have been helpful

Owner was prompt in responding to messages and fair in dealing with problems. Caregiver was pleasant and friendly, but not reliable. She came 4 out of 11 scheduled times. I would have to think twice about recommending them.

At first, they were very good signing us up and the first day was very good with the first home health aide. She was very friendly and very helpful the first day even though she had to learn where everything was in the house and everything. The second time, a different home health aide came and she was an hour late. My dad was upset because he had gotten ready and prepared for her to come at a certain time and he didn't know what was going on other people to be on time so he can keep a schedule. The third time I believe was the same person and she came to work knowing that she probably had Covid. She tested positive at home. I was told and I got a phone call from Right At Home telling me that they are picking up the person at my parents house because she has Covid. Luckily my parents were not exposed and were fine. They said they were going to still send somebody on Monday and that person never showed up. I'm not sure why they were going to send somebody if my parents were exposed to Covid but the person that was supposed to come did not come. They said that she overslept. So they had lots of strikes against them so that's why we ended it.
