This didn't end up being exactly what we needed, but the agency was good. People showed up when they were supposed to and we didn't have any complaints, for the most part. It just wasn't for us.

This is a good service. The care taker was wonderful. She did all the things that she was requested to help with. She was always on time and a great help. I would recommend her and the service to other families for good home care.

It is very good so far with this agency. The caregivers have been good so far and they provide companionship and light care. My dad likes the ladies who help him that are very nice to him. They have been ready and on time when we need them. I would recommend them to my family.

This agency has benefited us and they have been helpful and attentive with my wife. They come twice a week for 4 hours a day. The caregivers helps with the household chores. She does a fine job and we have not had a problem yet. Next week we will start full 24 hour care.

My 86 yr old mother lives in an apartment located in a senior high rise. She was having falls and problems doing her daily ADL's, laundry and cleaning. I was trying to be her caregiver, take care of my family and work as a nurse! It was overwhelming for me to do it all! That is when I reached out to Ray and his home care agency! They were fantastic, so caring and helpful! My mother was very happy with all the caregivets, they have become like family to her! She really looks forward to their visits! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for caregivers for a loved one!

I have had no problems with Companions Plus. The woman that was helping us went on maternity leave and they were able to find us another replacement. They understand what I need and they do everything I ask for. They assist in the areas of sitting with my mom and taking her on walks.

Senior Helpers of Portland seems like a fine company. I am impressed with the owner, how he treats his employees, training for employees, background checks, and completing a very thorough interview regarding my mother's care. They also randomly stop in to see how things are going for the caregivers and clients which keeps employees on their toes. So far we have only used Senior Helpers once, so hard to give an adequate review. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is the caregiver just seemed a little young and didn't quite pick up on my mom's level of dementia. But she was very enthusiastic and nice, so I can't fault that! I will continue to use Senior Helpers, hoping it will be a 5 star experience next time.

The caregivers are generally attentive to my mother, but sometimes they need to listen more closely to her specific dietary needs. It is apparently difficult to find caregivers who can both stay overnight and can drive.

I was impressed with my interview with the home care agency. It was a choice between this home care and one another agency we were considering. They both sent out caregivers for us to try. The experience went well, but the other home care sent a male caregiver. My father was more comfortable with that one. It was a good experience, and this is a nice home care agency.

The caregivers that come out to the house are on time and very nice. They help around the house and with mom's personal needs. Setting up the service was an easy process and they explained everything.

We had some bumps along the way after setting up home care with Synergy HomeCare. We had to move some staff in and out.However, they have done a great job addressing all of our concerns and working out all of the kinds. They have been very resourceful and helpful during this time with our loved one.

The caregivers from 24 Hr Homecare provided good services for my mother. They helped with the cleaning and maintaining everything organized. The caregivers were nice and attentive. Some meals were prepared for my mother from them and they were good. Overall they were a good place with courteous staff.

They were good, and helpful. We never had any issues with people being late or not showing up. It just got to be very expensive for us. Unfortunately we weren't able to continue with the service.
