The quality of the care has been very good, but recently we have been frustrated with the restrictions around the care givers, like what they can and cannot do. Also the communication has not been the best, that could use improvement, but the value for cost is very fair.

The community did a great job matching caregivers to our situation, and even if they were short-staffed the owners would come and provide the care needed. I would recommend this service to others based on our experience.

They treated us pretty good. If there is a problem that arises they are receptive to fixing it quickly. This is someone I would recommend for providing services to your loved one. They were able to accommodate 3rd shift for us. They are receptive to changing the schedule, and working with us on services.

As a company, they have very good communication. I would advise families that there might be some inconsistencies with the caregivers. The worst of them wore earbuds and did a lot of sitting around instead of interacting with the client and doing the chores. But on the other end of the spectrum, there were some that did it all and truly went above and beyond. For private pay families, they bill every week. (Supposedly their system doesn't allow them to bill monthly for private pay.) But as long as they're aware of it, it's not a red flag for non-payment and you can still make just one monthly payment as long as you call them and let them know that's how you prefer to pay.

Some of the care takers we had were very very good, even top notch. Others not so much, in the beginning we had some issues with consistency. There were different care takers coming each day, so we would have to spend time training them over and over. For the price it was frustrating, but after awhile it worked itself out, and we had a good experience.

It took them a little bit to find an aide for us. So that was difficult. There was a lot of instability until they found the right person. But after a few weeks, they did, and everything was fine. The industry in general is expensive, but once they found a person for us, I felt like what they provided matched what they said they offer. The main difficulty was with communication on the business end. If a caregiver didn't show up, that wasn't communicated to me. I had to follow up with them. But the aide we ended up with was good. She was very sweet and friendly, and very quick with everything we needed. She was everything I wanted for my loved one. It's just that these agencies - more than just Senior Helpers - are having a hard time getting help. And I feel like they should be more up-front with that.

We went with Senior Helpers because we were looking for skilled nursing care for my mother, A lot of care companies do not offer anything with skilled nursing care or administer medications, but they do. A doctor is in charge of the whole company and they have RNs on staff who teach the caregivers which made me feel comfortable with them. They offer the care that we need I would recommend them.

My mom had a fall and was hospitalized for a week. After that, she was sent to a rehab facility that was unsatisfactory. I took my mother out of that facility and asked for 24-7 care for my mom and Absolute Care Services LLC came to the rescue and provided her with the care that she needed to speed up her recovery. PT and OT home visits were set up as well from an appropriate agency.

I would just tell others looking into Rewards Homecare to be specific about what you are wanting and needing from them. I would recommend them to other families.

They can help you can get what you need. The caregivers they sent were good. The thing is the person needs to understand what you as the client wants as far as services go, because they provide a lot of different services. But communication with them was good, and if I had a problem, I would just say something and it was taken care of. Scheduling and billing went smoothly as well.

Overall we were happy with Home Instead. As far as administrators and managers, they worked very hard at trying to meet our needs. There were a couple of incidents with specific caregivers. We had one day when a caregiver didn't show up. However, the administration was very good at finding a replacement right away. We had another instance where a caregiver did not do a good job helping my loved one with his catheter. Despite those isolated incidents, overall we've had a good experience. Once we found a caregiver who was a good fit, we were able to have her there consistently. It did take some time though. Once we found a good fit, we were very happy. In addition to her friendliness, she also was very hard working. She was really very helpful in addressing all of my loved one's needs and took a lot of initiative in making sure he was well cared for.

We chose Visiting Angels because we used to go to church with the previous owners. As far as the office ladies, they did not seem to be very good with communication. We had stopped using them and a caregiver showed up. Overall due to our experience, I would recommend them.

I would recommend this company to others. The price stands out to me. We are using the home health care portion for my loved one. The office staff has been excellent to work with.

Overall we have had a positive experience with HomeWell Care, we definitely would recommend them to other families and friends. The one thing they could improve on is just working harder with matching their aids with the clients.

The people who are in charge of sales will tell you things that they don't really do to get you to sign on the line . So don't rely on them to do things like contact insurance companies and see that through, because they won't do that kind of stuff. The tell you do they do, and then they sort of do, but they just don't follow through. It took a while to find a caretaker who was a good fit, but we kept trying until we found the right one, and she's been doing a good job. My loved one is very particular and has taken care of her own house for 60 years. So it's very hard for her to find somebody who will do the cleaning and things the way she wants it done. A lot of people when they clean have the mindset that as long as it's clean, what difference does it make how it's cleaned? But to my loved one, it really does matter. Our current caretaker is doing a marvelous job and wants to learn. She gets a list of things to do from my loved one, and then does them exactly how she's been asked to do them. It's expensive paying for the service AND the admin. Right now they're helping with relatively basic tasks like taking a bath, but not fixing meals unless my loved one doesn't feel up to it. If I were more able myself, I would be doing these things for her so we wouldn't have to spend the money on it. But I would and actually have already recommended them to several people who were in much more serious situations than we are.

We were in a dire situation we needed someone for our loved one very quickly, and we were surprised that next day when a worker showed up. They were very accommodating and great to work with, any problems we had were fix immediately. We had a great experience, and would recommend the Home Helpers care to others.

We chose Griswold Home Care because it was needed at the time and I did not have a lot of time to look around. We have never had any issues with scheduling so that has been good. It is a 3rd party to a 3rd party, I report to a hiring person and then she calls the director of the company so it can get a little messy if we have any issues. I would recommend to others who are looking, but it is expensive.

We chose Senior Helpers because of the money as well as the lady we talked to seemed very thorough when we were interviewing. It has been a good experience overall and I would recommend them to others who are looking.
