Overall the experience was good. They have some excellent staff and then they have some staff that are just OK. [name removed], the owner is very involved and always a huge help. His scheduler was sometimes not responsive to the need of keeping consistency across my mother's care plan which was sometimes difficult.

The caregiver who sat with my Mama was competent and polite, yet quite introverted. My Mama would probably have enjoyed a companion who was a bit more talkative. As my Mama loves conversation, it seems that she felt that her helper was a bit distant.

We are having a good experience with Cornerstone Caregiving. When we did have small issues, the communication was prompt and I felt heard. The caregivers have been wonderful. My mom feels comfortable and well cared for. I would recommend this agency.

There is a bit of variability in care givers. I have already recommended!

We had quite a few different nursing aides for my father in the 6 weeks that we utilized your services. There were some experienced aides and some that did not know how to help with simple house chores. They were all kind and friendly and we only had 1 or 2 no shows in that time. I did hear from some of the aides that there was no treatment plan on their system for them to refer to. We always had to start fresh explaining what my dad needed help with.

We were happy with our decision to use Senior Helpers in Canton. They were quick & efficient as we needed immediate assistance. There were several different employees who were used & we were pleased with each one.

The most experienced caregivers from this agency are not only very personable, but they bring a great skill set of activities to maintain the disabled client's functionality in both physical and cognitive domains. The reason for not giving a five-star rating is the high rate of turnover of less experienced caregivers.

Love my caregiver. I would think it was in part of my husband’s doing. I like that she is supported from the company and they have strict rules. However in her free time, which is often since I’m better, she refuses to do much other work. She explains that she doesn’t have to “scrub.” That includes cleaning a bathroom, mopping floors with anything other than a swifter, etc.. When you are paying the cost, which is high and time available, caregivers should be told that they should be busy. But, still I find my caregiver is knowledgeable and helps my husband to take care of my needs. I will hate the day that I have to give her up, but will rejoice that I’m better.

Very caring, knowledgeable. Took time to listen to concerns from all family members to make sure they provided the best care. Seamless to get setup and start with a caregiver. Was very responsive to any of my calls, questions and concerns.

The initial caregivers sent were fine. I had an issue with their "evaluator" who was brash, nosy, inexperienced at dealing with a 100 year old who couldn't hear and clearly out of line with her demanding that the caregiver do certain things that my father didn't need, couldn't do and didn't want. After that incident, a wonderful, caring and experienced caregiver came and was with my father through to his last breath.

The caregivers are very kind and patient. Scheduling and flexibility are good too. I would like to be able to contact the caregivers directly but I do understand why they have to contact the agency first.

We had two care givers that are above par. Unfortunately, when they couldn’t come in, the substitutes were below average and undertrained. As a result, I cannot give an overall assessment. When they limit the amount of hours one care giver can have because overtime becomes a factor, the quality of care diminishes.

Home Instead is a good company but they cannot always staff the hours needed despite stating they could in the beginning. They have weekly checking to see what they can improve on and do communicate if they dont have staff or if staff calls out.

Honesty, truthful, fill the voids, compassion, do the light housework, meals prepared, contact me with questions, downright friendly and caring. Adjust schedules as needed. Garbage out, get mail, run errands.

They have great people that work for them. They are always on time. If schedules change, they are always able to accommodate your situation.. If they sent the same person, that was fine or if they had to send a different person that was also acceptable. All of them knew the job and was able to fill the position.

Home Instead a reliable organization. My Mom likes her home health aide. We are very happy.

1. They had a back up system so we were never or very rarely without the help we signed up for. 2. My dad was very aggressive and angry about needing help and paying for it. The owner and his wife I think went the extra mile to help my dad understand that some of his behaviors were out of line. 3. Senior Key Care was our first home health a company and it was a big learning curve for all of us, not them, but for us and they seem to be willing to work with us.

Had only one visit. Not much to evaluate at this time. All went well. Person arrived on time and was ready to perform. XOXO. XOXO.

I had reached out to Home Instead to assist my mother in some of her daily ADL’s as her partner was in a rehab facility. They were a resource suggested by a Place for Mom. Overall, the experience went well. Some of the caregivers were great, some due to a language barrier were not able to assist her as she had wanted and the first day no one showed up. They eventually had a backup staffer able to come out later in the day. It was a good organization to help out when we needed them.
