We have had great care givers. They have enabled Mom and Dad to stay in their house. As with any relationship, communication is important and reliability is as well. This is usually a problem from caregiver to company when short or no notice is given. The company do their best to cover but we have been left without. This is going to happen any time you depend on people not just with this company. We have a great relationship with schedule manager-she tries really hard. Owner may need more employees to be able to be more nimble but I dont know it may just be the nature of the industry. We appreciate the ability to have good care at home. Thanks for taking care of us!

Home Instead has been helpful to me. They are flexible with scheduling when I need it. They meet my needs and my caregiver is funny, listens to what I want and I feel that she genuinely cares about me.

My only concern was that some of the nurses were not qualified, and for the price I was paying, I kind of expected that they would be. But I didn't check the fine print so it's my fault at the end of the day. One nurse was less than personable. Not an easy gig though, so I can empathize. Most importantly, I needed them ASAP and they got someone there ASAP. I am very grateful for that. Overall, company was responsive and did the job. And 90% of the nurses I met were nice people and did their jobs well.
It was very memorable. They are overall good people. I would recommend them to others who are searching for homecare services for their loved one.
I think my mom would rate it as a 4. She has been very happy with the caregivers, and they show up on time as expected. Only drawback is that often there is turnover, or different caregivers, so every time she's explained what's needed and gets comfortable, there is a new person the next week and she has to start all over again.
They have good people, but like everyone else, they have problems keeping staff. The ones they have are good and care about the patient. Compared to others I have experience with, I would say a B plus. I would not give them a 5 but the ones they keep are worth at least a 4. They missed a couple of days, not unusual, but irritating. They get rid of those pretty quick. So I would rate a 4.

Great communication and care
What we like the most about their services is the sense of concern for our loved ones safety. If I have one complaint, it is the use of weed of caregivers while on shift. However, we would recommend their services to others.
