Helpers are doing what we had ask of them. We are pleased. My mother is still getting used to the idea I having help in her home. We are glad that senior helpers provide this type of service. Our Mom wants to stay in her home until the end of life. We feel the senior helpers will help our mom reach that goal. She is just using meal pre at this time but as she ages her care needs will increase.

They were friendly, we just couldn't find the right fit. I would recommend these home care services to others looking.

Home HELPERS has done a great job at finding the right caretaker for my Mom who is 78 with showers and giving her the personal attention she needs. My mom doesnt see well so Skyler does an amazing job at keeping her company and helping to make her lunches and helping us with some light housework.

They are good . If they should happen to send someone that is not a fit for your family member they will get more info and send you a fit. The ladies I have had for my mom have been good. Just tell them what you want them to and it is done.

My husband, although he has Alzheimer’s disease, is an excellent musician, still a brilliant physician, and it took a while to find somebody that would be a good match. The person we have right now is very energetic, and rather bossy. She considers her salary from HomeWell a problem: supposedly she is a registered nurse and has certificates in body training and a few others. She claims she was hired at $[fee removed]/hour, but she’s getting only $[fee removed]; she wants to keep us and negotiate a fee. I was thinking of calling A Place for Mom as a possible replacement. Yes, our aide is interesting, but to take paintings off the wall to show to me and identify the painter was a shock. A week after she had been with us: 2 days a week, 4 hours per day, I broke an ankle, and was trying to rest, and she’s become a little free with re-organizing rooms: I still can’t find my knee brace.

Most of the AIDS that have come out to help with my mother have been very good. The biggest problem that I have had has been because of my location there is occasionally an issue in getting coverage during the winter.

Mom is just about 99. We needed support for my sister who is her primary care giver. It was a learning curve for us as a family and for mom. The staff are kind, and above all compassionate! We did have to adjust caregivers for continuity. The Home Instead staff worked with us as we fined tuned moms care. Great communication and coordination by all staff! Highly recommend.

I really like the helper that comes here. Her name is [name removed] and she's a stand out. She talks to [name removed] and makes him smile. I would recommend to others and in fact have.

id like the ease of enrolling our love one. I like the owner caring style. I was not extremely satisfied with some of the employees, but l did not know them at the time. Basically this was my first experience and l learned from them, grateful for the as l know how to step forward should l need this type of service again. I would use their services again, given this knowledge.

We needed some companionship for my mother-in-law. We contacted Griswold and they met our requirements for cost,hours, and presentation. We are happy with the caregivers they have sent. Would recommend them for anyone who needs care for a loved one.

Senior Helpers is easy to work with keeping up with timely communication. The care has met our expectations and needs thus far. My mom continuously comments on how pleasant her aide is and it’s nice knowing she has company to engage with a few days a week.

I think that the aides that have come to take care of my mother have been caring people who are conscientious and do their best to meet her needs while here. My only wish is that each aide would read and fully comprehend the care instruction sheet I leave each week. It seems that one or two things gets left undone, even as different aides come by weekly. We get care once on the weekends, and I appreciate that ELara is able to do this, and also provide transportation to church for my mother. The ELara office does well on weekdays to be responsive to our calls. I would give them good marks and suggest that weekday contact works best. Night and weekend contact with the office is not as smooth and I would only suggest that as a last resort.

AMADA care givers care a lot. I was faced with two choices for my wife's care, an institution or in home care. I chose our home because she had been sent to a nursing home for physical therapy after her fall, and I was not impressed with the care there. It has now been a year, and I have experienced many of AMADA's employees. They all have worked hard to keep my wife well groomed and safe. However, as with all my past employer/employee relationships, it was and still is necessary to be explicit in clearly explaining my wife's needs. AMADA's care givers respond cheerfully to direction. In that regard, I think a tour of our home was very helpful. Very few homes look the same. For most of the year, we have been fortunate to have the same people, and AMADA's office people have strived to accomplish that.

Caring hands was able to coordinate to provide great 24/7 care for my mother who was unable to stand at all and had several health and mobility issues that prevented her from doing day to day tasks. [name removed] was in the home with my mom 24/7 unless mon asked her to run an errand or myself or another family member let her know we would care for Mom while she spent time with Family (she was with us during Thanksgiving) [name removed] was able to help mom move around the house daily and helped her feel like a person for a few more weeks before we lost her. Mom told me how much she appreciated the help. Paperwork is always a nightmare and logistics can be difficult, but at the end of the day the service provided is worth it. Thank you [name removed]!

The agency was very helpful getting us started. The staff and Mom had a learning curve, many times the help did things different than Mom likes (generation gap). Cooking was the most expected, yet sometimes the most hectic. Overall - this newness takes time and patience on everyone's part.

Once we matched up with [name removed]as our full time caregiver things have become easier. It was difficult to different people come in every day and train them. The company might need more people to help with this matter. Also they aren’t quick to match you up with someone. I ended up making the match.

The agency has not able to find the second right person. We did interview couple and did try couple was not very efficient, lack enthusiasm to work and one was busy with her phone . Made no attempt to do anything except sit around with the client . Did take out for walk when client requested, not familiar with even with minimal house hold basic chores . The one they provided us is excellent, caring and does what she is supposed to do . Understanding in managing client with memory loss and she is with us .

Today was our first day with Seniors Helping Seniors. So far so good The helper came on time, was definitely proactive, considerate and thoughtful Based on our one day experience we would definitely recommend them to others

I'd rate them as good. Some helpers are more skilled then others. It would be easier to judge this over a longer period of time. If you need substantial care, definitely ask for someone with strength as not all of them are strong enough. Most aides were good, pleasant and helpful, a few were not. Overall, I'd give them a B+.

Amada provided caregiver service while I recovered from hip surgery. While both my caregivers were competent, one was exceptional. Changes in schedule were accomplished easily. They even helped me with my insurance claim. I would recommend them highly.
