I didn’t know what to expect from going through an agency to hire a caregiver for my mom. Up until now we were handling it in our own or having friends come “ sit” with her. Assisting Hands was thorough in the interview process of what they could provide and what we needed. One thing we asked for was someone without an accent but that did not happen. We tried to work with it but it agitated my mom that she could not understand the caregiver. They are working on finding a better fit for us. I feel Assisting Hands could have reached out to check in on how things were going with the caregiver sooner. Assisting Hands did give us help in getting more assistance through Medicare for people with Dementia.

[name removed] was a great guy, punctual, friendly and cooperative. It's a little expensive. I would recommend them to others who are searching for home care services. You found someone for us quite quickly. My wife is in a wheelchair and I was coming home from back surgery. [name removed] helped me in and out of the shower, did laundry, made breakfast and lunch and some clean up around our condo. He never refused any request. We used your services for 3 full weeks and had no problem.

I am a relatively new client and we worked through three other caregivers before we've found the one that I have now. The one I have now provides top level care and the agency has always been highly responsive.

The owner is good at keeping me informed of who I will have as caregivers for my wife. If there is a problem with one, she is quick to respond and resolve the situation. Most of the caregivers are seasoned but the younger ones are hard working and eager to learn. As the young ones mature professionally, they will become exceptional caregivers. Overall I am happy with the care my wife receives.

Everyone there was very nice, and accommodating when I needed to change dates. Haven't been with them very long but, things are good.I would recommend them to my family and friends .Thank you for your help.

The caregivers were great. They did what I needed. But there was no continuity in who was sent. There was also an issue on arrival times. We had an agreed upon time but it kept changing. I felt uncomfortable not knowing who was going to show up each time. Or what time they were coming. It ranged from 10 to 12. I believe we had agreed on a set time in the beginning. These things could be better.

My family was matched with a wonderful caregiver through this agency. The caregiver provided us with professional and loving care beyond our expectations. I am very grateful for A Place For Mom. A Place For Mom also provided us with recommendations that we ultimately selected for an Assisted Living for our loved one. And, A Place For Mom continues to stay in touch with me for our feedback.

The people were awesome! Took good care of mom’s needs. The scheduling was a little difficult at times, but only a few late arrivals.

We're at a steady state now, but the first year we had a lot of flux with caregivers. Our caregivers have become an extension of our family, even going on vacation with us. I would recommend Always Best Care to others.

I have liked caregivers so far but I hope I can settle in to 2 people to use regularly. It would be easier for him and me. Caregiver called in sick yesterday. It happens. Only got 2 hours notice. Good thing I did not have appointment…just some me time. Notice that they changed caregivers for next scheduled visit, a new one. I find it hard to get to Family room. Wish they had an app. Co owner, [Name Removed] takes interest in what is going on. Glad she came to first appointment since caregiver got lost, I would have been late to my appointment had she not been able to cover for her. Second caregiver also got lost. My GPS takes me to correct house but theirs seem to take one street over.

I am very happy with Senior Helpers. They accommodate our frequently changing schedule and have sent us dependable and capable caregivers. They check in frequently to make sure things are going well. I would recommend them.

Most caregivers were very kind and helpful. Only had one night when caregiver didn't come as planned. Expensive but would recommend to others looking for care short term. Flexible and responsive.

We needed personal care for my 91 year father who broke his arm. He needed help with dressing, some hygiene, food preparation, general cleanup house keeping, and transportation. It was a challenge to give the caregiver enough to do for the required minimum 4 hour shift, but the company was good for my father. This was a temporary situation before the holidays when family could take over his care. We appreciated the woman who came to help, and she did try to occupy her time but there wasn’t enough for her to do in the 4 hour shift. I would have liked to have more flexibility in the number of days and amount of time needed each day.

So far, experience has been good. Caregivers are prompt, courteous. I feel comfortable having them stay with my 92 year old mother and I think she enjoys the company. The caregivers have been very professional

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Respectful of household and mom. Even when mom is in a mood they are respectful and able to redirect her.

Very easy to set up, very friendly and caring point person , flexible to our needs. My only note that was not ideal was that the care taker was very young 19 years old and a little unsure how to deal with seniors. Very kind person though so it's hard to say anything bad but lacked experience.

Happy with the service. [name removed] does an excellent job caring for my mother. From bathing her, to cooking, and cleaning, her services are greatly appreciated. As her primary caregiver, I also appreciate the free time [name removed] service affords me.

The caregivers from Evergreen that have worked with my parents have been very caring and compassionate. My parents have “connected” with their caregiver. There have been some occasions where the caregiver was ill and could not work; we went without service on those days. Communication with the agency itself was a little bit of a challenge until I focused on communicating via texting (now I always get a quick response). I would not recommend trying to communicate via email.

Company has been dependable and easy to work with. We started with just a couple hours per week but then ramped up to more and then added weekends. They were quick to fill the requested time slots. We were happy to have them.

I had a very pleasant, friendly, and professional experience with senior helpers. The initial meeting was thorough and informative and left me with no unanswered questions. The day of my medical appointment went well. My helper was friendly, professional and on time which was very important to me.
