I have lived here for 8 months and I like it fine. The staff helps me whenever I need help. There are a few problems, sometimes with the med room but they try very hard. I am glad to be living here.

I have been here nearly 2 years. My apt is comfortable and adequate. The staff is friendly, kind and caring. I enjoy the interaction with other residents. I have made new friends. I would recommend the village to others. Activities many and varied.

A ages 92 [Removed] and 94 [Removed], we decide it was time to move on and leave our home of thirty years. Having lived in Naperville for over 55+ years and we always had our own home, we decided to move to an assisted living facility. With one of our adult sons (we have 4 sons) and two adult daughters, we visited a number of assisted living homes in a 25-mile area of Naperville. At this point we decided to visit Independence Village. [Removed] and I had been aware of Independence Village and had visited old friends who had lived at Independence Village. We also had a tour of Independence Village about 4-5 years ago. There were no words spoken during this tour. At the end I took a vote and it was unanimous that Independent Village should be our next home. It is wow(Home).

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my mother and I have no complaints of how things are going. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. The property was kept clean and had a great activity list. It was just not the right fit for us in the end decision.

be well cared only spent about 30 minutes here just touring the community to get a sense as to what it was all about. After learning that they didn't offer what I wanted I knew it wasn't going to suit me. I was in need of something with a garage and they don't have anything such as that. It was a nice place well carefor the people seemed friendly enough but without a garage I just wasn't interested I knew of other places that would be a better fit for me so I went with that.

My mother is doing great, she likes her apartment. It suits her well. I would recommend this place because of [Removed], the person in charge of introducing the new people is a lovely lady. Everything takes time getting used to, she likes the fact that it's her own place. She is enjoying the fact that she can be in her own place with the help that she needs. It has been a good experience.

This is a privately owned clean community. They have a beautiful well kept courtyard. The staff I have met so far are friendly, warm and inviting. They know all the residents and they are helpful. They have a full calendar of events and the calendar is visible to the residents. The food is good and the cook has been there about twenty years. I would recommend this community

The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the residents are friendly and polite. The meals usually have two main choices and if neither meets your dietary needs, you can order a grilled cheese sandwich and or green salad. You need to schedule medical appointments asap as the van fills quickly. The van driver is very good and helpfuf. This is a good match for me and my needs. Laundry facilitates are on the first and second floors and it will take 2-3hours to complete, but there is usually no waiting. Rooms are cleaned, beds changed, and sheets and towels laundered every week. This is a big help for me.

I had a very nice tour of this community. It is a really good community. Everything looked great, and clean. The staff I met were friendly, and kind. They took their time showing me all around the community. It was a nice experience. Unfortunately the location of the community was a little far from where my parents wanted to be.

I would recommend you look at this community and ask questions. My friend seems to like the food and they are adjusting well. The staff are encouraging and helpful. They offer daily activities as well as outings to stores. The community is clean and they do his laundry.

I thought they were to big. You had to walk from building to building. They have a steep ramp toward the common area. The community was too spread out for my mom. It was great to see and everyone seemed to like it there. The room was really nice. It had a big guest room with sitting areas. This was not the place for my mom.

This was a very good option for mom and her limited budget. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The central location is convenient. Mom is in independent living so we have no info on nursing help yet.

I’m glad nice meals are furnished. Having bedding and towels furnished helps. The activities and entertainment have been very good.

Would appreciate the cleaning girls doing a more thorough job. Otherwise everything is great!

Poor Eye sight, Poor hearing. Not interested in games but like the workers – All are loving.

Independence Village is one of the better community compared to other community.

Liked it so far. Been here very short time.
