She lived at the Carlisle before we moved her to a more affordable place. The Carlisle is absolutely beautiful, but it's too expensive.

Wellington Bay is a beautiful senior rental community well located in the Wellington community. Accommodations are relatively spacious but somewhat expensive. Construction is not as good as might be, but adequate. Monthly food plan does not carry over, creating more expense for tenants (portions are more than adequate). Maintenance is quite attentive, but slow for significant repairs. Overall comfortable and active, including pickleball, billiards and ping pong, with included access to tennis and golf.

The facility was really beautiful and my tour guide was very knowledgeable. All the spaces for residents were in great condition with nice high ceilings and open spaces. The residents I saw looked happy and engaged. The private studio I saw was laid out nicely with a new kitchenette with nice cabinets and a small fridge and the bathroom was large and spacious as was the shower itself. The only things that I felt were not what we were looking for (more a personal thing) was that it felt very much like a hotel and not a home. We were looking for a 'home' for mom that would have that more personal/cozy feel to it.

The staff is very friendly to both residents and family. The move in orientation could have been better. They just handed us a binder but forgot his tracking watch, didn't tell us what day his laundry will be done. Despite a few small things, I am overall very happy with the facility and how they are caring for my dad.

Facility was great. Staff was all very nice. We got admitted on a Friday and nothing happened over the weekend so that part was a little disappointing. No PT or help with meds. But once Monday rolled around and she got evaluated everything was fine. I think what added to the issue was not getting all the paperwork and orders sent over from IP rehab. It was a Friday rush. So my advice would be to not do a Friday transfer.

The administration was so kind and answered all my questions. All of the staff are caring, kind, and very patient. They care for and joke with like he's a family member. They let me know how he is feeling and keep me in the loop. Lots of activities if he chooses to join in. And the food is good! I usually visit every other day and stay 2-3 hours.

The community was beautiful and well-maintained. The meal service and entertainment I felt was a high caliber. The community itself is primarily made up of East Coast, New York retirees and is fairly tight knit. It is not a good fit for a casual Midwestern values person. If they didn't belong to a country club, for example prior to retirement might not be a good fit is a very country club type feel

This appears to be a lovely facility, well managed, friendly staff, and lots of activities. My only complaint is the exterior landscaping. It looks very barren. Perhaps some trees and green will be added.

The facility is located in a prime location, proximate to multiple shopping/dining options and healthcare services. The staff is superb, very helpful and responsive to residents. A recurring theme I've heard from residents who've been here longer than me, some of whom have lived in other senior communities or have left here but then returned, is that Inspire is a great place to call home.

It's With in walking distance to shopping dining. And a vary secure building at night The staff are 5 out of 5 here Lots of activities But most of all it's peaceful and quiet Which I was also looking for After 44 years in high rise construction.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Building is super clean. Activities are fun and engaging for residents and their family and friends.

Most of the staff cares deeply about the residents. I've been surprised by how much still have to follow up and advocate for my Dad. But I love seeing how they love my dad! The activities director and staff are wonderful. Love them. I think they are working with a minimal budget. I think activities could be first of all more of them and second better quality - walks outside, different exercise offerings, beefed up parties and more of them! For example, Ice cream socials are popular, A group read of the newspaper daily to discuss current events is a minimal cost.

When it comes to the care services - they went through a management change and there was some disorganization at the outset. The communication has been very very spotty. They seem to still be struggling to get organized under new management. Also though my mom's experience has been good, there are many residents who feel disenfranchised by the old management and have gotten in her ear -- so it has made her concerned.

The care team is very caring. However the administration is difficult to talk with. I've sent many emails that they've never responded to. So you do need to stay on top of everything and follow up. Medication administration is good. But things like cleaning and laundry that are promised need more of your attention. The food is excellent, and the dining process runs very well. The activities are somewhat lacking.

Overall I would say the whole experiences around 4 out of 5. I know he's safe and his basic needs are met. Some staff are better at addressing his personality and needs. Some staff allow residence to remain in their room in the evenings and on weekends. I talked to a lot of the residents and overall they seem happy. Dad would personally rather be with people and so when everyone else is in their rooms, he seems bored. Overall he seems happy. He is definitely happier there than he was with me running him everywhere and feeling like he was in the way at our house. Anytime I have concerns and say something, the concerns seem to be addressed. The staff are very responsive.

The Carlisle Palm Beach was probably our favorite out of all of the facilities that we visited. The facility was beautiful and very clean, but unfortunately it was extremely expensive which is the reason we did not choose them.

We love Kempton of Charleston. The facility is great especially if you have access to driving. The location is isolated and there is not enough activities and things going on away from the facility so my loved one is not getting enough stimulation. I think it would be helpful if they could take them out on a bus to get them out and about more often.

The care services were terrible until the new nursing manager was hired and now things are getting better. My biggest complaint with the staff is that they are not using computer systems at all. they do not have a good phone system. You have to fill out paperwork to be able to do certain things and without me being close this can be difficult. It just seems like they could use some system updates. It looks nice and the rooms are nice but the care is not the best and it take a lot of follow up to make sure that my loved one can get the help that she should be getting. The meals are great and my loved one likes the meals I would recommend this community because it is not a bad place but for how much we spend I would have expected better care.

I think that this is a very well run community. The apartments are large and there is a secure outdoor space with a garden and benches with a walking path. My loved one can travel between floors with an escort. We didn't want our loved one to be locked on one floor and that is one thing that drew us to this property. The fact that it is secure is very important to me and there is a wonderful team assisting.
