Very good experience. We were in Portland visiting family and stopped by while in the neighborhood. Were very impressed with the facility, but are still undecided about moving to Portland area.

The community is light & bright, clean and buzzing with activity! The food is delish and the people are warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

We think the staff is amazing and our Dad is very happy. I would recommend to others.

Very friendly, felt very hospitable when we entered the facility. Answered all of our questions and gave us their personal telephone numbers to call them if we have or had any questions.

The staff has been good, I hear the food is good, very nice people. They have been quick to show up if there is an issue. Apt is ample size. Area is quiet.

The staff is really good. My mom is always bored. I wish they could get her more activities. But I don't know if it's her or them. Food is excellent. Very clean and big rooms. The staff is excellent when I was nervous about putting her in there. [names removed], when they're there, they make my day and knowing my mom's an awesome care.

It was wonderful and [name removed] is the best person you could have there I wish I could afford living there.

[name removed] was very knowledgeable about the facility and was able to answer my questions as well as show me multiple apartments. Would recommend this independent living community to others

Hawthorne Court was a very nice facility. The building is older, but the fact that it is all one level and the very friendly, nice people make up for any deficiency due to age. As we came in we were greeted by name by [name removed]. He sat down with us to get to know us. As we went on the tour, he introduced us to staff and residents, who were all very friendly and nice. At the end of the tour he sent us all away with meals to go and a beautiful plant for my parents. [name removed] also followed up with both my parents and myself afterwards. He was very caring and helpful.

Greeted as we walked in the door by a smiling, friendly staff. The facilities were clean and well appointed. Especially impressive were the residents who also smiled and gave glowing testimonials. Daily activities looked enticing and were quite broad ranging in nature. The Archer sits at the edge of the city, but has the feeling of being more in the country with great vistas and a quiet serenity.

[name removed] and the other staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome before I even made a decision for my father. The facility itself is great, it was smaller than most and felt more like a community.

5 on everything! We are super happy. It is one of the more expensive places, but we feel like it is the best. The food is delicious, the facility is beautiful and kept clean and updated. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The other residents are very inviting.

I've lived here over a year and while I waited for a 1 bedroom to open up but I ended up falling in love with my apartment for sewing and piano! I live coming out to activities. There always something fun to do. It feel like home.

My husband and I are still living very independently, but far away from our only son, his wife and two grandkids. We wanted to learn about what the Village at Mill Landing offered in the event we needed that level of service. The tour was led by [name removed]. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and well prepared. The building appeared to be in very good condition, clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. The staff we encountered were also pleasant and busy. The apartment we toured (a one-bedroom) was bright and relatively spacious, with higher than standard ceilings. We will definitely keep this on the list for future needs.

The facility was laid out in an orderly manner and very appealing in design. The rooms I looked at were appealing indicating they were high quality in maintenance. The staff member was very helpful and informative in showing me around answering any questions factually and truthfully. This residence would be a very desirable choice of where to live for anyone looking for a place for a loved one. I was very impressed with everything I saw on the tour and would highly recommend this facility for a great place to live.

I have been very pleased with the care and over all experience at Volante Memory Care. Generally I would rate all categories with a 5. The staff has been very exceptional with cares,, sensitive to resident and family needs and any concerns addressed.. A very pleasant environment to have my husband in this last stage of his life.

Excellent food and facilities. Definitely recommend
