Staff seem very receptive to their residents. They call them by their names and check on them frequently The place is clean and thete is no odor. We enjoy the "garden" patio during nice weather days. We are allowed to bring in meals and eat in the private dining room or library.

Salterra, to this day, was the best choice and new home for my cousin. We used A Place for Mom. The facility is beautiful and has the 'I want to belong' feel with impressive high ceilings upon entering. The meals contribute to healthy, fun gatherings and inviting family days. Wednesdays often have a guest musician and my cousin partakes in dancing. The new sport is chair volleyball and card games bring entertainment. Over and over Salterra is the right choice with a caring staff with nurses knowing everyone by name. My cousin one day heard his neighbor fall and pulled the emergency alert with nurse arriving to help his neighbor. The latter we don't dwell upon but it is exactly what Salterra is after all for: the help that one needs is right at home!

Overall, we like the food and activities. Although a little more variety on the activities would be good. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone knows my mom by name. I think the inside could use a fresh coat of paint, just to make it more modern. My mom had a very specific list of requirements for a place and Azalea met all of them. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience

In answer to your question about Ackerly at Reed's Crossing in Hillsboro, OR, my husband and I have been here 8+ months. The facility is very light and bright with a center courtyard planted with trees, roses, iris, and a variety of plants. One side is visible from the lobby/entryway and another side is visible from the dining room (food is superb by the way). Multiple birds are seen and enjoyed by the residents. The staff is well trained and qualified to give lovely service and care. Rooms are varied in layout and size and very well maintained. A small balcony is attached to each of the upper floor rooms, giving enough space for outdoor chairs and plants. Windows in each bedroom and living room are large, allowing outdoor light into the rooms. Carpeting and luxury vinyl flooring are top quality as well as appliances for kitchen and laundry. Again, staff is excellent in maintaining anything that needs fixing. I believe that residents here are very happy, friendly, and as healthy as they can be. Caregivers are on call 24/7. A variety of activities are available from gym/exercise classes, to games, puzzles, brain teasers, a variety of art classes, boçci ball, pool tables, library, and much more. An in-house driver is available to take people shopping, go on excursions, appointments, etc. I would recommend this living facility highly to anyone needing a place to call home when no longer able to maintain their own personal home.

[name removed] was fantastic! She was so thorough, professional, and patient with us. She was extremely helpful even though we are a year or so out from needing living arrangements. The facility is gorgeous and everything a Senior would need. I would love to call it home.

The apartment size is good and it is great to have a walk in closet to easily access clothing at a good height. The staff are nice especially the permanent staff. Some of the care team may be temp staff and and don't always do things consistently such as laundry. The meals are good with different daily specials. My dad has really enjoyed playing bingo and also has signed up to work out with the primefit trainer twice a week which has really helped him build more strength and balance.

The staff is very welcoming and quickly they all know your name. This is a FIRST NAME community. Every day there is an activity schedule posted in several locations as well as the Leisure Care app. The food services are very good. There is apartment maid service once per week and the common areas are clean and well used by the residents.

The food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly, caring, and helpful. Overall, it is a welcoming environment, and we appreciate the positive attitude and support from the staff.

According to me all are a 5 except for admin staff I'd give a 3 According to my father the resident he'd say the food is a 3 Overall very happy with the facility, few hiccups with the staff (more medical part than admin but they weren't an option) and we would recommend this community to other families.

5 on all of these. The staff are the crown jewell of the Archer. They greet you by name even when you don't live there. They are eager to help and often go far beyond what they are required to do. The residents notice and, likewise are eager to help. There is a great variety of activities for residents that is mindful of some with disabilities. The common areas are quite clean and well decorated. Great choices in daily menu of food.

I rate all the questions as 5! The Ackerly is like going on a cruise, except you don't have to leave home. All the staff are friendly and make it feel like a real community. There are plenty of varied activities for mental and physical enrichment. They also offer planned excursions and shopping trips. It is kept clean and it is a beautiful environment. I enjoy the food and the servers are friendly and try to accommodate special needs. Reed's Crossing is a nice area with safe walking\biking trails and parks. There are also resident meetings to discuss any issues and to plan future activities. It is on the expensive side, but I find it a great value for the money. For prospective residents, it is well worth coming in for a tour.

5! The staff is fantastic and the food is amazing. Lots of activities and support. Reasonable prive in comparison to orher facilities (cost was a big decision factor, it was [removed]k cheaper per month!)

They are very accommodating and helpful, also have empathy for the people living there and their families. Apt size is fine for one person. The building always seems clean and offers fresh water. I don't have a problem getting answers to questions. They seem to have outings and enough activities.

The staff and care givers are really nice. Very communicative with me as my Dad's advocate. My Dad has been in Dunedin for over 40 years so staying within his community was important to him. Location is good right in the heart of Dunedin and close to Meade hospital

They treat my mother very good and are always doing extra-curricular activities and the food they cook is good. They make all the holidays special with the different foods. They keep a check on her multiple times a day. They're very timely with her meds in morning and night. They also let us put a camera in her room which was a huge plus for us!! We all ask them to always check her temperature on her room and make sure it's 75 at all times because she's always turning the heat on not knowing what she's doing. They have NP's come in ever so often and talk to her about her aches and pains and if she likes living there. They have a vegetable and flower garden at the assisted living and the main living building which they let the residents help with if they want to. They tell us immediately if they find something is off with our mother and ask us what we would like to be done. They make things in crafts to put on their walls and doors. You can decorate their room as you wish to make it feel like home. It's very very clean and never has any kind of smell.

Excellent customer service from [name removed] down through every member of her staff. [name removed] worked on the numbers making the choice to place my parents here an excellent fit. It was great how the nurse arrived at my parent’s home to do a health care needs analysis so quickly after my visit. Don’t stop at the high priced [community removed] or any of the other assisted living facilities in the Fort Myers area. Head straight to Salterra and you won’t be disappointed with their five star treatment.

I voted a little less for the cleanliness of the facility. It is generally clean but I feel like the hallways to the residents places could use a vacuum. Their General Manager[Name Removed] is so personable and he took the extra time to help me get into my mom's room before my mom moved here from Wyoming. I couldn't get the key fob to work and he walked me to her room and made sure there wasn't a key activation issue. We had previously had one, and it was taken care of immediately and I thought it had happened again. There was not a problem, It was me not using the fob correctly. I was impressed with his genuine concern and his time in ensuring I could get into her room safely. Another thing is that [Name Removed] asked a few months ago before my mom had decided for sure which place would be the perfect fit for her to reside in, to come and spend the night to see and get a feel for the place and see if it would help in her decision. I cannot think of one staff member that has not gone out of their way to ease her into this transition. She is visually impaired and I know she doesn't require a lot of assistance, but there are things they do that I know our family and my mom appreciate. Example: making sure her packages she orders get to her. Usually, they are at the desk but they have been delivering them personally. Another thing I have noticed is the residents seem to all have a very good attitude about Treeo. They all have expressed how much they like it to me. That says something for the staff and for the place itself. I hope those are enough items for you. It has only been two weeks, and I am sure there will be more good things to say in time.
