It was very nice but very expensive.

Place seemed nice, but unenthusiastic nature of tour makes is hard for me to even remember.

Nice facility; Director was informative and friendly. The residents were fairly friendly. The apts were adequate but not as well designed as others I have seen.

Independent living. Has a variety of types of housing. Villa, 2 bedroom cottage with garage.

good price. has pool.

This one is nice but the layout isn't good for us.

The nursing staff is very lazy. They don't check on the patients. My husband laid in his wet bed waiting for someone to help him with he call button on for an hour. Then they didn't change his bed at all. I had to. No compassion at all. You have one person that is awesome. Her name is [name removed]. I wish all could take notes from her. The place needs a lot of work.

Very under-staffed. Need more food servers and more people in front office.

Champions Healthcare is lacking an adequate number of caregivers. I really would not recommend it. In fact we were planning to move [name removed] to another facility in Cypress.

Before yesterday, when I learned the staff would no longer deliver occasional meals to my mother's room, I would have rated meals as a four. We have been told they will no longer do this, because of the shortage of staff. Other than Nurse [name removed], who tries to make time to play bingo with the residence, there are no activities done with the persons in assisted-living. Our family, my mother and the other residents are very upset and discouraged about this. And our family has noticed a definite decline in our mother's mental health. Socialization is so important at this stage of her life and she is getting none from the facility.

I am a friend of a patient. Medical issues routinely ignored. This facility okay for short term. For a sick family member, look further. Staff can bully a patient into accepting a poor resolution to their complaints.

I toured Lake Ridge Senior Living. They had a fireplace that was just open in the Memory Care building, and there just seemed to be so little human touch there. The guy giving the tour was nice enough.

The food was very good with many options, but was sometimes not hot. The therapy staff for the most part was excellent. And thorough. My biggest problem was the nursing staff, especially med nurse. The nighttime staff was esp unprofessional and didn’t seem to be well qualified or well informed about medications. I don’t know how many RN or LVN they have, but it wasn’t enough. Most are nurses aids I will say that most of the staff are friendly, compassionate and eager to please.

They have nice neighbors, but the food is awful. The villas are great, I did not want an apartment style.

If I'd known about the dining experience, I would not have come here. There's continuous turnover of the cooks and servers. During meals, there's only one entrée. There's one main entrée and a side menu - which is comparable to a McDonalds menu. I'd tell others that you should be fairly mobile if you come here. I am, however, satisfied with my apartment.

Patriot Heights is definitely made for those who are completely independent and do not need any care at all. They have cottages and residents have to walk or get a golf cart just to get to the dining area. The director showing us around was not helpful and acted like she did not care.

I would encourage you to look around at different communities. There are rules about North Chandler Place that changes each week. The food is okay here at the community. The chefs have been temporary recently. The dining room staff change regularly. The staffing is low in the community recently.

This review is based off of what my dad tells me as I am living out of town. I talk periodically to the director and she said they are just now starting to open things up like the dining room and planning to start up activities soon as well. The residents have had both of their shots and are fully vaccinated. Before the virus, I think everything was going be pretty good. He has had a very hard time due to the isolation that covid has caused.

My dad has been at Health Care Resort since February. The Nursing and Therapy Team seem to care and take good care of dad. However, HCR communication is a complete joke! You would think with the COVID-19 crisis they would be communicating to families even more since we are not able to visit with our loved ones. NOT THE CASE! No calls about medical changes happening days ago until you get informed when calling about another matter. But good luck trying to reach someone initially or getting them to return your phone call! Trying to transition my dad back home for In-Home Healthcare. I leave numerous messages on a daily basis with Social Services, but no phone call back. Very Disappointing! HCR I had high hopes and you let me down!

They gave us no notice that my sister was going to be discharged.
