Brookdale

The staff were doing the best they could with my dad. The staff had a challenging experience and they still continued with the services he needed. While he was there he did participate in some of the activities. We picked this community because they of their willingness to provide services to my dad and no other community wanted to try or backed out.

This looked like a nice community when I visited. The food was ok and the staff were friendly. They do allow pets and offer some nice amenities. We were just not sure this was the right community for my loved one.

just a bit disappointed with the cost to care ratio. but otherwise it was Okay.

The one thing I would say this community needs improvement on , is the medication management. However they are working on that. Since my fathers move to this community he is doing well. I know he is safe, and in good hands. They have nice staff, and they are very helpful, and kind. When I come to visit the community, and his room are nice, and clean. They provide nice meals, and have good activities offered for the residents. This community is working out well for us, and I would recommend.

My brother in law, and step mother toured this community for her, and her needs. From what he told me their tour went well overall. This was one of her top picks. The apartment they were shown was nice looking. The experience went well, but we did find a community that suited our needs better.

My loved one's stay is going fine at this Brookdale location. As far as I have seen, the staff are catering to her needs and requests, and the facility is kept well maintained. They are making her stay as comfortable as they can.

We toured this community for care and the staff were helpful. Alot of turn over on caretakers .The community was clean and the atmosphere was nice. They offer a good variety of healthy meals. They activities would of been helpful for her to participate with the other residents. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

Mother and I visited Brookdale on June 1st. We enjoyed the tour as well as meeting [Removed], some of the other staff members, and residents. While we may reconsider the Respite Care in the future, we are letting Mother vacation in Knoxville to be closer to my sister. Thank you so much!

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community for my loved one. The staff where friendly and made sure to give my loved one and a detailed look at everything they had to offer. They had a nice open floor plan with wide hallways that was easy to navigate through. Overall great experience it was just not the right fit for my loved one in the end decision.

We liked the place but they felt it wasnt the right fit for mom's behaviors

[Removed] was awesome!! The facility was great, but I felt it was lacking in relaxing in the outside area. [Removed] is an outdoor person and no bird baths, pretty gardens, fountains, soothing sites to give you that zen feeling. I suggest a garden area for the residents that have that desire to garden and make it their own. I really liked the size of the facility, easy to get around.

My father is being cared for well in this community. I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. The experience has gone very well, and I would recommend this community.

So far everything is working out pretty well for my mother with her move to this community. I'am satisfied with her move here. I know she is safe, and receiving good care. The staff has been attentive, and helpful. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. This community has worked out well for us, and I would recommend it.

I have only visited the community with my friend one time. I did notice the community is clean and beautiful. The food was good and they seem to offer a lot of dinner choices. My friend seems to be meeting people and making new friends. She seems to like living here.

This looked like a nice clean community when we visited. This community does allow pets and they offer daily activities. This community was nice, however I did not think it was the right fit for us.

A newer and larger facility that is very well kept. Very nice dining room with three meals daily with choices. Has free laundry for personal items, but there is basic housekeeping once a week which includes laundering of bed linen. Parking available for personal vehicles. Pets allowed. Very friendly atmosphere. There is no stove or oven and very small refrigerator. Small appliances including microwave are up to you. Cable and WiFi is included. Of the three places I saw on the 25th of May, this was moderately priced. One final note: although I was expected for the tour, [Removed] was busy moving someone from "independent living" to "assisted living" and working me in between. It wasn't the best tour, but I saw everything I needed.

Looks very clean and safe for family members. Good location.

So far everything is working out pretty well for my wife since her move to this community. I do feel she is safe, and in good hands. They have a very helpful staff. They do a good job with the cleanliness. Everything is well-kept when I come to visit. There are activities offered for her when she is ready to participate. She is pleased with the meals, and the dining experience. I would recommend this community, it is working out well for us.

My dad has recently moved into this community and so far everything has been going fine for him. The staff have been very helpful in getting him adjusted into his new living environment and making sure he is getting in the different activities as well as outings. The only thing I wish could be easier trying to get a hold of him when I call the facility.

My mother and I were very impressed with Brookdale Edmond Danforth when we toured. We loved the people, everyone was very friendly. The community was clean and the building was in good shape.
