45 minute drive for me. 15 minute drive for [Removed]. Specials every January. Sale price, $1850 in January for a nice sized one bedroom. 6% increase every year. No garage or carport. All first floor rooms. 3 steps with rail down to screened in patio. 3 meals included Monday through Saturday and two on Sunday. Restaurant style with 5 choices to order from. Special requests accepted. Numerous activities, including Bridge, exercise classes, cooking classes, travel. Library with weekly rotation of some books to and from the library, included. Small kitchenette. Sunday Mass. Regular doctor visits. Therapists on staff. Medical staff paid through insurance and Medicare. As needs increase, a la carte additional services are available. Wheelchairs and walkers are acceptable.

I selected Brookdale as it meets my needs in an area I like.

Loved it, was just what we were looking for

This facility is wonderful and my Mother really enjoys it here. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. The food is great and they have a lot of activities for my mom to do. They offer things like concerts, arts/crafts, and field trips. The accommodations here are really nice and all of the rooms are updated and new. However, since they are new, they're still working out the kinks but seem to be doing a great job. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. It was nice and clean but had a strong urine odor. It wasn't a good fit. I recommend families tour many places before making a choice.

My loved one moved into Brookdale Northshore not long ago, and she seems to be very happy there. The community is very clean, she seems to enjoy the food, and we really appreciate the helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend this community to others.

Had a wonderful tour. Very pleased with this assisted living facility. Clean, appears to be well managed with happy employees and clients. Wonderful chef and menu. I like that it was small with approx 42 occupants. [Removed] was very informative and helpful. Unfortunately but not a surprise, this community was full.

Facility and care options looked great. Honestly it was a little too nice for what my mother was looking for.

[Removed] 2pm Monday 1/15/18 very expensive, but nice place, rooms are small, 2 BR could work but not available and 5k a month is too high.

Mom has been there almost 2 months. Says the food is awful. Much worse than the last place she was at. Rooms are dark. Not much natural light and room lighting is not good. We are starting to look for another place for her. Location and facility is otherwise great. The reviews were very good and we were kind of rushed to get her moved from out of state so we chose this place.

This is a well-established community in the SE part of town. The tour was thoroughly adequate, as are the rooms and facilities. I must say the complimentary lunch was less than impressive, though. The tour manager was pretty new, and not yet familiar with the prices of various senior needs beyond the basic room.

While my love one was here I have faced a few issues with them. In the beginning they told me that they could take care of my love one’s dog and that they could deal with it. Then they told me that they are no longer able to take care of her dog, so I ended up moving her to another facility. However, the place is really nice and I would recommend it to other people who are looking for a place for their relatives.

I went on a tour here the staff was very nice and very informed. We were looking for the assisted living here fo my father-in-law. It was dated but was clean and spacious. I recommend families tour several places before making a choice.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the food but the dining room can be bigger. They don't have the assisted living seperate from independent living which I'm trying to get used to. Housekeeping is supposed to clean weekly but that hasn't happened yet. The weather has been bad lately and the staff can't come to work so a bit understaffed sometimes. I enjoy the multiple options for the daily activities. My apartment is on the 3rd floor and it over looks the wetlands. The sales manager is great here also. I would recommend this community .

The reason why I picked this facility for my Mother is because they were able to provide services other people couldn’t offer. My mom really likes it here and it’s a nice facility. The staff members here treat her very well. My mom’s room is large and spacious and she even has a window overlooking the courtyard. I would recommend this facility to other families.

In general, I am very pleased with my loved one's stay at Brookdale The Heights. I do think that the office personnel could use improvement on their customer service skills and their follow up with families, but otherwise, the staff is helpful, the food always looks very good and very nutritional, the community is kept very clean, they offer a good amount of activities for the residents, and I love that the community is close to my home.

I feel like this is a very good place for my Mother. The staff here has a lot of hospitality and treats my mom with respect. This community is smaller than other places and it’s friendly. They do a good job of decorating the building and keeping it clean. For activities, they offer things like exercise classes, bingo, and games. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Walden Ridge has a very friendly staff. Everyone is specifically trained to work with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. I prefer the L set up as opposed to the circle, but while there it appeared people are constantly making the circle and checking on the residents. Felt comfortable in the care that people were getting. All different stages of the disease were represented

I think Brookdale Fort Smith has done a really great job with my loved one, and we've been very happy. I do think that most communities like this can always improve on their communication, but overall, Brookdale is great. The staff has been really helpful, and I definitely appreciate that they have a great attitude, [Removed] especially. She pushes everyone and expects the best out of all the residents, but she does it with a caring smile. I love that all the personnel, no matter their title drops everything at mealtimes to collect the residents and bring them to the dining room. This ensure that everyone eats and no one misses out on a meal. As far as the food, I see more repeat meals than I'd like, but food is always plentiful. As a community, they really do a great job, and we are very pleased.
