Brookdale

This is a very good place to live in. The room sizes are good. the grounds are well kept and they look nice. Overall I think Brookdale is a good place. I would definitely recommend this community I did so to my friend and she stayed there for a while.

We chose Brookdale Stuart because the staff members, they were very caring and helpful. The room sizes were great and spacious. I would want others to know that it is a facility strictly for memory care individuals. We did have some issues with the care such as I had to give him showers and they could not lift him. Overall, I would recommend to others.

Nice facility, I wish I could have seen inside on my tour. I understand the why but I just couldn’t put a family member in a place I’d never seen inside

They are not set up for someone that is immobile or is in need of incontinent care. If someone asked if I would recommend I would say it depends on the level of care you're loved on needs. My experience was that my loved ones needed more care and they will tell you that they can take care of them but they can't if your loved one is not mobile.

I would tell people that it is a nice place, if you needed for a family member. It is nicer than most, but it isn't perfect. The atmosphere is nice, bright, and lively. The food was good for my loved one during their stay.

We chose Brookdale Trillium because we liked the location, we liked what they provided, and word of mouth. They are gradually bringing more things back and opening things up since the pandemic had began. We are able to eat one day a week in the dining room as of right now and they are gradually trying to increase that. There was one case of COVID in early April, but have been none since. No one is able to come in but we have been doing 30 minute visits with loved ones. They are doing great at protecting all of the residents here. I would recommend.

This community always smells nice when visiting! The community is affordable and very responsive. My loved one has a large room with generous amount of space with a nice patio, and there is a dining room on site. This was a good amount of space for the money compared to other communities.

We chose Brookdale Denton North because of the location and the community was smaller size. We had also heard that there was little turnover of staff which was a good sign. The room sizes here were adequate for what she needed at the time. She was only in here about 3 months, but overall we had a good experience and would recommend it.

Due to the virus we have to stay in our rooms and eat our meals in the rooms, and before quarantine they had great activities, now they have to social distance and they have very few activities to offer. Based one what i did see, the activities seem to be great. This is a very nice place, i am very happy here. The staff and workers are very kind and always helpful. I cannot say anything bad about them. This community is always clean, it is excellent and i also think it has a good value.

The staff was very nice, they were a smaller community but it seemed like it was a nice place to stay. My loved one decided not to move in but this had nothing to do with the community, the experience with the staff was great.

The dining room, swimming pool, and the exercise room are closed due to COVID. I am happy here. The people are friendly, and it is a good place. I have heard a complaint about pricing, but after looking at other communities, I feel it is comparable. The food is the other complaint and people saying it isn't good. I have no thoughts on that, since I'm not a picky eater. The food is being delivered to the rooms. There were a few things that attracted us to this community. They have a swimming pool, garage, and an outdoor space. Most people have either a balcony or a patio.

I've only done a virtual tour because of covid but have done it twice. I like what I've seen so far. The building looks charming & clean & the staff on video seem caring but I would definitely have to visit this place physically before I chose this for my mother. [name removed], the sales manager has been wonderful to work with & generous with her time & very patient with me & my brother's questions.

The community had amenities that I didn't need. The fee here was higher for me. This community does have a dining room. Brookdale East has buses available to take residents to grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and more. The community fixes three meals a day for the residents that don't have a way to cook their own food.

The friendliness of the staff members really stood out to us in the beginning, they are great. Their courtyard is big and offers a nice outdoor space for everyone. From our understanding, during this time the community has been kept clean, we have not been able to visit since March. However at that point this community was very clean. As far as the activities go they seem to be great and the food they serve is really good.

I think this community does really good at caring for the residents. Sometimes the care isn't as good. There was a time, that I went to visit my loved one and he had run out of oxygen for his condition. This happened a few times. In the past they took residents on rides through the mountains and to get ice cream. There were other activities they offered, prior to COVID.

My loved one has been there since March, and I haven't been able to see her until today. The community is now allowing visits for a maximum of 2 people to visit our loved ones. This is a once a week activity and a maximum of 1 hour for the visit. My loved one's clothes weren't labeled, and some of the clothes have gone missing. There have been some missing clothes, and my loved one had received another residents clothes. This has been my only frustration. The staff have told me that my loved one has been having a "garage sale" of her items. Brookdale Tyler South is having lots of activities for the residents. There have been a few times that the residents have been confined to their rooms, if there is an individual one that has visited the community comes down with COVID. They have been doing COVID testing when necessary. The community has had specialty doctors come in to assist my loved one. There is a nurse practitioner that comes into see my loved one. They do have the option to have virtual visits.

When you first walked into Brookdale Bartlesvile the first thing you noticed was the fresh and clean aroma, we never came across any fowl smells, unlike some of the other facilities we had looked at. We really liked how friendly and helpful the staff members were, they were very attentive and seemed to really care for our loved one. His room was nice, it was big and comfortable. We were able to sit with him while he ate his food and the food seemed to look good and tasty,

I think it is a very homey and friendly community. They really care for the residents. My loved one was happy with the food.
