Our family had an in person tour and overall we would say that everyone we met with was very friendly and very accommodating, but the residences and atmosphere just felt old

The value for the money is fine. We picked this community because, they took a certain type of insurance, and the location is convient to other family members. The activites needs to improve, they don't offer higher activities such as field trip, painting, baking, art classes, and exercising. They have been pretty responsive with communication and answer all questions. My loved one, is comfortable,does not have a lot of complaints, and has made new friends.

Mom enjoys it, which is the most important thing. The staff do what they can for her, which is also important. Sometimes they have an issue with communication with me. But if I have an issue and take it to them, they correct it right away.

Our family had an in person tour, and it was a nice community and a nice tour experience.

Very caring staff. My mom is higher functioning with her dementia, and they aren't able to offer her activities she enjoys as much as we'd like. (Walking outside). They allowed her to bring her dog, which was very important for her.

This has been a very positive experience for the family. The staff communication with the family has been very easy, and they are responsive to our questions and following up. Some of the care includes: medication management, bathing and dressing assistance as some care offered by the community.

When it comes to the cleanliness of the community some areas need to be updated and hallways need to be repainted. The staff members are awesome. With the activities there is something always going on for the residents.

I toured this community and it was good overall. The rooms did seem a lot smaller than most of the other places we looked at. The cost was also too high for our budget.

We really like the community atmosphere Brookdale Pearland portrays, and the overall cleanliness of the community when we first took our tour. We like that they have separate small houses for the residents. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families, we do just think when it comes to the activities they could off more outings and field trips .

Like-Friendliness of the staff, great activities offered by the community for the residents to partake in Can improve on - food quantity, the rooms weren't cleaned very well. Trash pick up is not happening daily. Several times my loved one didn't receive the food in the dining room and the portion sizes have been getting smaller and smaller and my loved one is going to go hungry.

I have recommended the community to others. The only issue we have right now is the community is short staff and which leads to not being able to get things done in time. However other than that my loved one enjoys it here. Everyone seems to be very friendly here.

We really like the staff members overall they were pretty good to deal with - we did have a concern while our loved one was there that we actually witnessed a few times. Sometimes the staff members would not come when our loved one needed assistance which is why the overall rating received 4 stars. However overall our loved ones needs were met pretty well.

We picked this community because, my loved one liked it. They're doing well there, but complains that the food isn't good and the staff turnover is high. They have activities such as; cards, Wii bowling, and bingo. The food needs to improve, but my loved one is happy there and adjusting but for as much as they're paying the food, it should be good.

I liked the most the care and attention they gave me my mother. Maybe if anything the food was ok.

Our experience was somewhat unique since we had hospice in there with mom, so she received good care from them. The facility itself was short staffed.

It was recommended by a friend whose mother is a resident. It's in my loved ones community and down the street from her house, church and grandson so people in this area can visit her. The facility is nice but the best part are all the caregivers. They are visible, super friendly, caring and I don't have to worry that my mother is safe and being taken care of. The nurses are also caring and communicate regularly with family. They listen to family's concerns and act on them.

All the residents but one had some degree of dementia. I had no one to interact with. Present accurately the nature of the resident population. I would have known I was not going to remain there.

I toured this community and we really liked it. The tour guide was very helpful. It's very clean and staff was friendly. This was our second choice and seems like a good place.

I think the community needs a little more assistance for the residents. The communication with the staff is fairly good. The residents receive 3 meals a day, with choices to choose from.
