Brookdale

My recent stay at Brookdale Senior Living for 17 day Respite Care was was wonderful. I am 66 years old and have many medical issues, however, my cognitive functions are good. My husband had wanted to take a trip to a country that is not disability friendly, I decided to stay at Brookdale to allow us the peace of mind that I would have good care while he was away. The facility is designed for safety, comfort and privacy for seniors. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the director are exceptional. Their mission seems to be to offer the assistance in a personalized way. The empathy shown and constancy of a calm environment adds to the quality of life for all the seniors of varying ages, physical ability and cognitive ability. I was very impressed at the level of care and inclusiveness for each individual resident. The manager of patient care is amazing. She has a team of care givers that are very attentive to their residents. She is extremely hands on, no desk sitting for her! The manager of dining services takes great care in providing the residents a varied, healthful and enjoyable dining experience. The wait staff is well trained and proficient. The food is excellent! The manager of programming is very engaged! The variety of activities, entertainment and social activities are geared to the interests of the residents. There are religious services, exercise classes, speakers, musical entertainment, beach ball volley ball (a personal favorite), positive thinking group, happy hour, sing alongs, outings, cooking demos, etc., etc. Jill is extremely hands on as is the staff in assuring the residents have plenty of opportunity to enrich and entertain themselves. I was surprised to see how active everyone was. The receptionists take their important job quite seriously. When a resident pulls their cord for assistance they summoned the help of an aid immediately. They monitor the flow of people visiting, assist residents and answer calls from family checking in on their family member. The facility is extremely clean and in good repair. They provide transportation for shopping trips, doctor appointments and outings. To me, it seemed very well staffed. I wish I would have been able to find this quality of senior care when my father was in need of it. I highly recommend Brookdale of Novi Senior Living!

Well organized activities, caring people, I would want to live there

Super friendly staff and accommodating. Resident here for short-term stay. Food excellent. Activities in transition at the current time. Residents friendly with each other. The facility is small and easy to for the residents to get to know each other and get acquainted with the physical plant.

Excellent listening and communication, personal care, front office. Very clean, nice flow, terrific amenities.

I think they do a great job at Brookdale Grand Blanc! The staff here is friendly, accommodating, and professional. I live out of state so I've really appreciated how reliable and on top of things they are regarding communication. Our loved one is having a little trouble getting used to the idea that she'll be living here now, but they're really bending over backwards to help her get settled in. It's just a very nice place, overall!

I am very pleased with this community, my uncle is finally at a place where he feels comfortable. They helped him settle in the community and welcomed us with open arms. It looks great and very clean. The staff is patient and caring for my uncle. He feels more comfortable here then the other community he was at. All the residents are the same and he doesn't feel like the odd man in the community due to his condition. I would just say to anyone considering senior living, make sure you don't wait too long to find to right place for your loved one it can come sooner then expected.

This is the third facility our dad has lived. We visited and interviewed with many before choosing Peachtree Brookdale. During the admission process it is evident that they really listened to our concerns about his needs and safety. Upon his arrival the entire staff seems knowledgeable of what will make him comfortable and they are going the extra mile to educate him on their policy and expectations. He's very happy with the quality and selection of meals. There seem to be a nice variety of activities and musicians visit regularly which is a nice touch. His room is a nice size, everything is clean and the staff friendly. We look forward to his enjoying this setting for a long time.

Staff members are generally friendly and care about residents. Facility is well maintained and comfortable. It is clearly the best of all the ones I looked at.

Our experience has been a positive one! Things have gone very well so far! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and they've been very accommodating regarding getting my loved one set up at the right care level. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and I like that it is all on one floor with some nice outdoor areas.

We couldn't be happier with Brookdale Medi Park West. The facility is beautiful. The activities are varied and numerous. The staff always helps-they're caring and professional. If Mom can't be home, this is a special place for her to be.

My sister and I visited about a dozen different assisted living communities. It was very apparent how happy and welcoming the residents were that we had found the right place for our mom. Libby, and the entire staff were very helpful and friendly. The facility was very cozy and from the smiles and warm hellos from the residents, it really makes you want to smile just being there. The rooms and common resident areas were very nice and we especially like their cheerful, bright dining area. The Grdaen Grove location of Brookdale was one of the last we visited and my mom is very excited to move in very soon. I would highly recommend this location to any other families. We have had my mom in another facility for about 4 years but it had many more residents and it just didn't have the cozy, welcoming feel as Brookdale Garden Grove did. We are very happy with our choice for mom.

Brookdale Niagara Memory Care is the only community I would ever feel comfortable caring for my dad. We looked at many other places(Erie county, clarence, Williamsville andNiagara county ). The community is spotless with beautiful decor. The cost was a good value. The care givers were friendly, all introduced themselves. We felt at ease. The reputation for excellent care at this facility is impeccable. We are finally sleeping at night knowing we made the best choice.

Wonderful atmosphere! Clean lively happy community. Seems to have plenty going on to stimulate the mind or peace and quiet in your own space. The eating plan is great since food is available throughout the day. My first choice

We recently moved my mother in Brookdale Summer Ridge and she is very happy. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The facility although it is not new, it is clean and kept very nice. The menus for dinning offer multiple choices where other assisted living facilities I have visited did not. I would recommend Brookdale Summer Ridge highly.

So far our experience with Brookdale Grand Blanc has been a very good one! They have a wonderful activities program, I've heard nothing but good things from Mom about all of the various games and events they've got going on! She has settled in well, and really seems to be enjoying herself here!

I really like this community they are truly wonderful here. They have really gone out their way to help me get settled in. Everyone is pleasant and sweet and willing to help at any time. The place looks amazing everything is clean and neat. I have made some new friends and started work out more at the work out classes in the morning. The food is amazing they a great chef here. I am happy here and it feels like home.

First I would like to start off by saying that this facility has the best staff I have ever met. The people here are friendly and caring. The Executive Director talks to all of the patients that live there. She is always hugging them and smiling when I see here in the living room. The only thing is the building has had some issues, but it seems like they have taken care of all those problems. I can't say enough about how happy my mom is living there and I am grateful for this facility. I know that I can ask questions and everyone there is so helpful. I am very pleased with this community and everything they have to offer. My father is adjusting well to the community and he seems to like it so far. They do have a pretty good staff. I haven't had any problems with them. My father is trilled with the food, he really loves it. They have been accommodating to him and the family when we come to visit him. Everyone is friendly and smiling at you when you walk into the building.

The level of care at Brookdale has fit my mom well, she was not appropriate for a nursing home. I did not want her in a setting affiliated with a nursing home. She has memory issues that prevented her living alone safely. They keep the residents busy. There are a lot of daily activities that have assisted my mom in learning new skills and enhancing her memory. The interaction among the staff and the residents is excellent. The location is ideal for us. There are several places to eat close by. The activity staff take the residents out frequently. My mom says she does not like the food but she is gaining weight! My mom was extremely upset with having to make this move. The staff from sales and admitting to daily care staff assisted greatly in the transition and made it a success! I highly recommend Brookdale Greenville!

I would give Clover Hill the highest rating I could give them they have really been great. Everything is going well for my father and he has adjusted very well to the community. I do feel they are taking very good care of him and are very good at communicating any problems with me. I have no complaints about this community everyone here is great.
